Powers & Abilities

The Mad Scientist-- Hououin Kyouma!: First and foremost, may it be said that Rintaro Okabe, or as he prefers to be called, Hououin Kyouma, is quite the expert in his fields of study, namely, time travel. Possessing an intellect in the realm of a genius, few can even be considered his equal, and he makes a habit of talking and debating circles around hapless professors: despite only being a Freshmen in his university. Having, all be it accidentally, invented a time machine out of a Microwave of all things, and continually shown extremely intellectual and creative thought, Okabe's mind is most certainly and without a doubt his greatest asset in any scenario.

Hacking through the Gate: Of particular note within Okabe's expanse of knowledge is his ability, or rather, knowledge of how to allow, time travel. Given his own particular set up and functioning technology, Okabe can send text messages back into the past as "D-Mail", or his own memories, able to warp time and change the past without paradox, due to his alteration of World Lines.
