Oh hey so um. Due to her repairing her relationship with Henry, and Cora generally being a horrible person, Regina actually didn't fail as hard at the whole redemption thing as she did in canon! So I'm not really sure how she'd feel about Belle at this point, but she's kind of on terribly awkward but civil terms with Gold right now and...she may or may not be prompted to feel vaguely remorseful about locking Belle away for so long, so that'll make her even more stiff and awkward! pahaha regina you're a mess.

Basically I just love their friendship, so we should thread them <3. I really need to do more with Red, anyway - we could have them hanging around Storybrooke somewhere? Or, you know, getting into some sort of trouble. That's always fun. xD

Question! Are we taking the events of The Outsider into account? (Minus the memory loss, because dear god show, you are drunk, give me your keys), or do we maybe want to do something similar on our own? And I am actually REALLY excited to see Milah. I have absolutely no idea how Belle would react to her -- I think it'd depend on how much Rumple has actually told her about his first marriage that would really determine her initial reaction. It'll be awkward, to say the least, especially with Bae around. xD

YES. Poor Bae, dear god. He has constantly gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to role models/caregivers/general adult figures in his life. Belle would be more than happy to help him adjust in any way she could. Since she's been on the receiving end of Rumple's...more unpleasant side, she could most definitely relate to him and give him someone to talk to. Belle's a bit of a natural mother hen figure, so her door will always be open. I think the more time she spends with Bae, the more inclined she will be to consider moving back in with Rumple to give the poor kid something stable in his life -- and to keep Rumple in check, to a degree.

But yes! Group thread sounds lovely! You guys give me the time and place, and I will be there.

Oh good god, anything between the two of them is just going to be terribly awkward. I would actually love to go back and do that thread we had planed on Paradox (post Belle being captured and all that) before I became consumed by life. We could maybe start there and then use that as a jumping off point for later threads. I really think that after a good amount of time has passed, Belle might actually try and seek Regina out and forgive her....in some respect, especially after all the effort she has put into redeeming herself and being a good mother to Henry. I think after she starts getting a better idea of what Regina has been through throughout her life, Belle will be far more inclined to try and bury the hatchet. Obviously they wont be best buddies who have sleepovers where they paint their toenails and talk about their feelings, but I think Belle inherent ability to see the good in people will give her some level of respect for Regina in seeing her work toward redemption.

...So yeah. :D

YES. ALL THE YES. They need to have girls nights and things! I'd really love to develop their relationship a bit more, since it's been pretty much glossed over in the cannon, so I'm up for whatever with these two.

But uum, I don't think the Outsider is going to be a thing on AM, since I'm trying to avoid Gold/Killian conflict as much as I can since they're... both my characters xD it's awkward playing enemies i rly don't recommend it

But! Killian will probably pay Belle a visit one way or another, be it with or without Milah. It'd be really interesting to see how Killian reacts to Belle once he's a wee bit less revenge obsessed, I think! He'll probably find it hard to believe that anyone could love Rumpelstiltskin.

Yess, I am absolutely up for doing the past!thread we planned on Paradox! Do you want to start it, or shall I? I'm perfectly fine with starting, I'm just behind on like fifty zillion posts so I'm afraid it'd take me forever xDDD! And also, I think Regina'd find that attitude somewhat surprising from Belle - she's not terribly used to forgiveness seeing as most of Storybrooke is...well, understandably kinda pissed at her, and Belle's had it particularly bad. Once she kind of...shifts past the awkward uncertainty of it all, though, I'm sure she'd kind of appreciate it - even if it'd be painful for her admit it - and maybe her short list of 'people I want to prove I can be better to' would even eventually extend to Belle.

Maybe we should start with Enchanted Forest things and wait on Jemi so we can plot the trio thread together. <3

As far as general ideas for something Skin Deep related, I have a couple things sitting in my back pocket that we could try or we could maybe come up with something else (especially because I'm not sure what you worked on with the previous Belle already). Totally up to you.

We could work more on the beginning section of their relationship -- what made him decide to give her her own room, etc. The "Imma give that bitch a library, bitches love libraries" plot is always a fun one too. Or maybe we could even work on adding in some things that were actually cut from the episode that were mentioned in the commentary for Skin Deep. Jane E. mentioned that there was originally a scene with Belle receiving word via messenger bird that the war was over and she actually attempted to escape to try and find her family -- but when she tried to find her way out, she like exited one room and ended up going in circles (like the layout of the house was changing so she couldn't leave -- idk it's been a while since I listened to the commentary). Or there's always this little beauty:



Jane also mentioned that in that scene Rumple hinted that there was more than one reason for covering up a mirror, so maybe that could be played with a bit? Idk, I'm just spitballing here.

And Yes, I'm quite interested to see what a slightly less tense meeting with them would actually look like. It'll depend a great deal on what Belle already knows about Milah and Hook, I think. But yeah, sounds like fun!

Yeaaah, that does pose a problem. But! Maybe they could communicate through another medium? Maybe Lia's checking out Belle's library and Belle get's a tad freaked out when paranormal type things keep happening for no apparent reason and then they start communicating somehow? Maybe radiowaves or even just writing? And maybe if they become friends somehow she can go to Rumple and see if there's something he can do to let Belle be able to communicate with her a little easier? Lol idk!

I went and had a look at her app...and she most def seems like a crazy interesting woman. Obviously not the nicest person on the planet, but I think if Belle ever had the chance to talk to her, she'd see quite a few similarities between Hela and Rumple, and would try and reach out to her in some way. One act of kindness can work wonders and such. And maybe once they start talking a bit more, like you said, I think there's going to be some mutual respect there.

...Rumple is going to be really uncomfortable with the company Belle is going to be keeping, methinks.

That could definitely work! She can totally hijack electronics if she really wants to! But yeah xD Lia's going to be in Storybrooke for a while, considering the fact that she's currently haunting Regina :] So I definitely wouldn't be surprised if she wanders to the library once in awhile. Lia's pretty much the snarkiest ever though, so I hope Belle's prepared to deal with that!

Yeahhhh xD She's not the most pleasant person ever. But she's got the potential for kindness somewhere...pretty deep down. But hey -- if anyone can bring it out, it would be Belle, right~? Maybe there can be some...stray person that worships the Norse gods in Storybrooke? Their death would be enough to get Hela's attention. Or even better, maybe they're in the process of dying, and Belle's trying to help them when Hela shows up to claim their soul? Idk.
