Personality:

Dark Pit is a rather independent fellow. He doesn't really side with anyone but himself, most of the time, he will side up with anyone if it means getting rid of a greater evil. However, even those kind of actions are rare and are only done if some sort of debt is owed. Even if he doesn't side with people well, he will do it once or twice if it means something for him to gain from it, either power or something to stroke his ego.

He is also rather serious, he doesn't even have much of a sense of humor save a dry one. He's also rather cocky, jumping into whatever fray he finds not really caring if he could possibly lose. It also adds to how aggressive he can be in both battle and conversation, making him a rather rude little angel. However he does have common sense that he uses more than others, so he doesn't completely offend people, on purpose anyway.

Powers & Abilities

Power of Flight: Unlike his counterpart, Dark Pit has the power to use the Power of Flight for as long as he wants, meaning he can fly for long distances as well as for a long amount of time without wearing himself out. Meaning he can fight in the air for as long as he needs too.

Fighter: Dark Pit has knowledge of how to fight extremely well, despite his small stature. With the knowledge of weapons and the Power of Flight on his side, he can fight both on land and in the air, making him a deadly foe to contend with.

Weapon Specialist: Using different types of weapons isn't foreign to Dark Pit since his original could use them as well. He's quite proficient with many different types, though he tends to prefer the use of a bow he will use different kinds if the situation calls for it, or if he wants to add onto the hurt.

Main/Important Equipment

Silver Bow: Dark Pit's main weapon of use, a silver and blue bladed bow that fires off arrows of light with exceptional homing ability, but the shots themselves lose power while covering long distances. The bow can be split into two from the center and be used for dual blades for melee combat, making it a very versatile weapon.


Dark Pit Staff: Dark Pit's secondary weapon and one that was named after him. The staff itself is modeled to look like a sniper rifle and functions just as, firing off beams of light with accuracy when used from a distance.

First Blade: A basic weapon that balances both long range and close range combat. What it lacks in accuracy it makes up for in power and versatility, since the blade is equipped to fire off beams just like the rest of Dark Pits arsenal, however, it isn't really as strong as his other weapons.

^{Psychological Flaws...}

Little Blackheart: Dark Pit is a rather rude little angel. His attitude can tend to irk some people the wrong way with his words, leading to possible conflict with them, and he doesn't really take those words back.

^{Physical Flaws...}

Little Angel: While Dark Pit is tough, he isn't the most weighed down angel. His size, while it is a good assist for dodging enemy fire, means that when hit with heavy attacks, will send the poor guy reeling back. Which is why he tries to dodge them more than block them.

Wax Wings: Anyone can tell you that a winged creature is useless without its wings, the same is no different for Dark Pit. If his wings were damaged then he wouldn't be able to fly anymore, plus their attached to his body, so it will hurt a lot as well.

Angel's aren't Immortal: As an angel, one would think Dark Pit is an immortal being, however, that isn't the case. Like most beings, Dark Pit can still die if put under lots of pain, so if a killing blow is struck, its the final blow done to him.

Duplicate's Soul: Dark Pit is a copy of the angel Pit, and if something were to happen to Pit like his soul being taken, then Dark Pit becomes nothing but an empty husk as his soul fades away. However, if Pits soul is still kicking, then so is Dark Pits.

One Weapon at a Time: While skilled in many weapon types, Dark Pit can only hold on on his person at a time, which limits his options of attack.

History....

Dark Pit was created from a magical item known as the Mirror of Truth. When Pit faced off against Pandora she had him look into the Mirror of Truth, and that was when Dark Pit was born, however, since Pit cracked the mirror before his creation was complete, it made Dark Pit turn against Pandora, something she was not expecting and desired. He then helped Pit take down Pandora, only to end up absorbing what was left of Pandora's powers to gain unlimited Power of Flight.

Afterwards he was hunted down by Pit and Palutena to some old ruins where he and Pit fought each other, only to end up with Pit as the victor. He then left the scene to recover. It wasn't long till he began to fight against Underworld forces on his own accord, aiding Pit as he went off to face Medusa. In the aftermath he spent his time wiping out remains of Underworld forces, until one day he was cornered by a small group and thrown into a rift by them.

It has been the same thing everyday. Fly around the earth, shoot down Underworld baddies, rinse and repeat. It seemed like these guys just kept coming, wasn't there supposed to be some skilled angel around to take them out? That wasn't him at least? "He better not be sleeping on the job." He knew that wasn't the style of his double, but there was a first for everything right?

He was flying over fields of green, a few Monoeye giving chase to the dark angel. In his hand was his bow and he quickly turned to flying eyeballs and released a few rounds of arrows dead center in their eyes. "Too easy." While the soldiers of the Underworld were weak, they seemed to be getting more and more aggressive and plentiful. Something had to be up.

"Hades must have been building more minions behind everyone's backs." No doubt that was the main cause, plus it meant that everyone seemed to be more laid back about Hades. "Guess I gotta deal with this then." If everyone was twiddling their thumbs, then it was left to him to take the front line, and he was going to do just that.
