Mordred
The Druid Boy
The Druid Boy
Basic Details
Age: 12
Species: Human / Druid
Physical Appearance:Mordred is very short and thin, even for a child of his age. He's also very pale. Mordred has very dark brown hair that goes down to his neck. His eyes are large and light blue. The clothes Mordred was wearing when he was grabbed by a rift were a white shirt and brown pants. He was also wearing a green, hooded cloak. He will, however, definitely be buying new clothes.
Personality:Mordred is a very shy, quiet boy. He doesn't like talking to people, especially if they're people who don't have magic. After his experiences with being persecuted for magic at Camelot, Mordred doesn't trust anyone who doesn't have some form of magic. Because of this, he doesn't talk to anyone without magic, unless they prove that they aren't going to kill him for having magic. See, Mordred was very effected by watching his father die for his magic use at the hands of Uther and being hunted down himself.
Recently, Mordred has shown that he can open up to people. For instance, he is much less shy with magic-users. However, due to his overwhelming fear of non-magic people, he tends to communicate with magic-users telepathically so that nobody else can hear him. He's absolutely terrified that any word he says will make people try to attack him. However, with enough time, Mordred has shown that he can open up to anyone. For instance, the first person he spoke a word to during the whole Camelot thing was Arthur, who had just saved him.
Mordred has a very deeply hidden dark, vengeful side. He despises Uther Pendragon for what he did and wants to have revenge on him. However, he keeps this hidden out of fear that it will make people hate him. This hatred extends only to Uther and those like him - Mordred is certainly not someone who hates everyone for no reason. He does, however, immediately distrust people who don't use magic.

Powers & Abilities
- Telepathy: As a Druid, Mordred is naturally inclined to magic. One of the abilities he uses most frequently to communicate is telepathy. He can talk to people through their minds and hear their thoughts. If this ability were to be trained more, he might be able to influence the actions of others. When Mordred is very upset, he can send out a strange mental blast that can knock people back or shatter glass.
- Telekinesis: Without so much as saying a word, Mordred was shown to be able to levitate things and knock people back. However, since he is still training, he probably can't lift things that are very heavy just yet. His limit would probably be around the weight of a small car.
- Healing: Since the Druids are a very peaceful people, Mordred has learned many spells for healing wounds. From small cuts to large slashes, Mordred can probably heal most any kind of wound, unless it's completely ridiculous. Of course, he can also heal himself instead of others if he must.
- Elemental Magic: Druids are very associated with the elements. Mordred has learned how to manipulate the elements, such a fire, water, the earth and the air - and possibly more. He isn't exactly the best at this yet, since he's still early in his training, but he can definitely use it if he needs to.

Main/Important Equipment
None
Weaknesses
Psychological Flaws...
- I DON'T TRUST THIS: Mordred doesn't trust anyone who doesn't use magic to the point where he refuses to talk in the presence of non-magic users. This can be rectified by proving to him that you don't hate magic. At that point, he can be spoken with. Still, he'll be wary of anyone who doesn't use magic - even if they manage to get him to talk to them.
- uther pls: Mordred has a great desire to have vengeance towards Uther. He saw Uther kill his father just for using magic. It was an event that made him as nervous and untrusting as he is today.
Physical Flaws...
- Human: Mordred is not only human and able to die like a human, but he's also a child.
Other Flaws...
- IT IS DESTINY: Mordred is destined to kill Arthur Pendragon... in the future. However, this could very well be changed by the rifts and the new world.

History....
Mordred lived a nomadic life with the other Druids for all twelve years of his life. His father took care of him and was the master to his apprentice. He taught him how to use certain magical spells. One day, the two had to go through Camelot. Their magic was recognized and the guards attempted to capture them so they could be executed for their magic. See, Camelot was a Kingdom ruled by Uther Pendragon, who hated magic more than anything else. Because of this, all users of magic were put to death. Mordred's father was caught, but Mordred managed to escape. He was found by Merlin, who brought him to the chambers of Lady Morgana Pendragon, the King's ward.
It just so happened that both Merlin and Morgana had hidden magical talents. Mordred had been wounded by the guards, so Morgana, Merlin and Morgana's maid Guinevere took care of him. When his father was executed by Uther's soldiers, Mordred displayed his magic and, in a fit of emotion, shattered Morgana's mirror. The three began planning to help Mordred escape Camelot so he could return to the Druids. One night, Morgana sneaked out of the castle and began helping Mordred escape. They were caught by Prince Arthur Pendragon and his guards, who had been intensely searching for Mordred.
Mordred was imprisoned. Arthur, with a bit of help from Morgana, had a change of heart and decided to help free Mordred. The next night, Arthur unlocked Mordred's cell and led him to freedom, with the help of Merlin. Mordred was returned to the Druids, who thanked Arthur for his help. Mordred's first spoken words since he was found by Merlin were to Arthur, telling him his name. Mordred was taken in once again by the Druids and taught more magic. The rifts soon got to him and he was taken away to the magical world of AM.
