AVENGERS ASSEMBLE.

SO we have all the Avengers now! Obviously, this means we must have an all-Avengers thread. BUT... we all have to plan this out and do you know how hard it is to all be in the c-box planning out a thread among the legolas by laura, the room and god warrior references and throwing of f33lz everywhere? SO YES, we should plan this in a thread.

It's about time we started planning this! Naturally, we'll need a powerful villain to take on. There's always Loki, obviously, but Avengers are world-savers, so it can't just be him all the time.

I still want Black Widow to go back to working undercover at Stark Enterprises, so if we can work that in there, we'd be hitting two birds with one stone.

Also: really Tony? I know your heroic identity is public, but wouldn't it be much more concise to have your display name as Iron Man? Director Fury isn't going to like this.

I am game for this. might be fun to have an all Avenger Thread. Someone would have to NPC Fury, or get someone to app him.

I know that I want Steve to travel to get to see what has changed since the 1940s, and he spent most of his time in NY/NJ area. Right now he is in Storybooke. But a thread would be good.

I am apping the Abomination from the hulk movie, so there is another marvel villain. The Red Skull could return if someone apps him. And there is Whiplash if someone wanted to app him as well for Avenger based villains.

I think a location would need to be done; The Helicarrier or Stark Tower, since there is no Avengers Mansion just yet.

Seeing how Avengers ended...
I'm gonna go ahead and assume they're gonna skip the Avengers Mansion part and go straight to Avengers Tower. Which, of course, would make it a bit difficult if they ever want to make an Avengers Disassembled movie, since that has the mansion blowing up.

I dunno. Marvel can be pretty convoluted at times. As for the villain issue, like I said before, we don't necessarily need an Avengers villain. It just needs to be a really powerful one. After all, the Avengers were formed to "fight the battles no single hero could stand against."

I'm just gonna throw this out there and kinda sorta support Fate's notion in the department of some thing outside of the Avengers clique for a villain. I like to think it's a bit more fun to peer outside of the box once in a while for such a diverse site C: maybe even a cluster of villains that aren't Avengers or Marvel related? Who knows, maybe there's an RPer or two who wanna get their villains doing something aside from collect dust or stop those tea parties they keep having (XD my nickname for villains who don't do much...admit it, the title is suiting) and could keep up with the thread XD! Not saying I'm forcing my end of the suggestion down your folks' throat, just ideas to be a little more open ended/minded with a series primary based thread is all. I know DNA has had villain plots and wants to get that going somewhere as with Spartan o.o so maybe those would be 2 people to at the very least consider for Avenges attempting to thwart the bad gaiz plots? Hell, maybe even evolve outside of the canon pow-wow circle and eventually recruit others into the group or develop alliances &/or affiliations? Again, just throwing things out there n' such.

I expected them to be a-fightin' every major threat as well, not just the Marvel guys. Sooo... if anyone wants to toss their villains at the Avengers that's cool. :U Due to the team being a very strong team, it's suggested that the villain in question be strong enough to either handle themselves in combat against them OR have a bunch of minions who can do that for them.

AS FOR OTHER MEMBERS OF THE AVENGERS.... I'm all for it! C: I just don't want the team getting too massive, since in the movies it never really was a gigantic group. Said member would also have to function with the group eventually, since the whole point of the Avengers was bringing these people together and getting them to all work together well. I'd have no problems with someone not working well with them initially but eventually working with the team well.

Of course, that doesn't mean they can't fight Marvel villains. In fact, I like the idea of them fighting the Abomination. I also had the idea of maybe the villains forming some kind of group against the Avengers? It was just a random thought.

I totally agree with what has already been said; with such a diverse site, the opportunities for villain fightin' and Avenger recruitin' is virtually endless.

Unfortunately... I don't have much to add at the moment in regard to the main AVENGERS RE-ASSEMBLE plot. D:
Though, I think the first thing we'd need are some villain volunteers for said plot. Because it should be a piece of cake to mold everything from there. IF Loki isn't going to be the one stirring trouble again, that is. But I think it'd be awesomesauce if a new villain showed up. Juuust sayin. x3

Loki is ALREADEH stirring up some trouble in Gotham. He's trying to conquer the world again 'CUZ HE STOOPID. Anyway, Loki is a definite possibility for a villain, especially since he's got some new stuff because comics powers. I would CEEERTAINLY like to see the Avengers facing off against him again at some point!

BUT, there are so many other villains on AM as well. The Abomination is in the apping process, which is awesome because now the Hulk has his FRANDS helping him out against his current worst enemy... But it definitely isn't limited to Marvel villains! I PERSONALLY WANT TO SEE THE MUSIC MEISTER CAUSE AVENGERS: THE MUSICAL.

So the possibilities are endless with this group. I'd kinda like to start it out with a group thread of Steve, Tony, Bruce, Thor, Natasha and Clint? What do you guys think?

Well..... assuming I can get things moving again I wouldn't mind having them go after Dark Samus once she starts becoming an open threat to pretty much, well........ everything. As it is she's one of those opponents who's never truly beaten, either, and she gets stronger and stronger with each defeat as well - intelligent and extremely powerful already, I could see her very easily becoming an archnemesis of sorts, especially since she's already far beyond the reach of the original Samus now. She's plenty manipulative as well, too, so there's always the possibility of her either corrupting an old ally or previous villain or simply convincing them that it's a chance to strike back at the Avengers - it's not like she'd necessarily be alone. She could easily be to focal point for a rogues' gallery to form around, at least the first time around or possibly the second.

Beyond that, I wouldn't mind them crossing paths with Hei, the Meta or Nicholas all at some point - all of my characters are in dire need of long term plottage, and while Nicky's on the move again I'd like to keep it that way. Samus as well - my muse admittedly did fizzle out for her a while ago but the spark is coming back, and assuming Meekz wanted to continue things she's probably going to get involved with the Phazon plot due to Castiel's interference.

Right now Mithos is still hanging around and gathering information and looking like a totally innocent twelve year old kid, buuuut once he decides he knows enough or goes through an existential breakdown - whichever comes first - he'll probably veer into villain territory. He's quite powerful, even without the elemental spirits and sword he had with him in his own worlds, so he'd probably be a good enemy to fight.
