OOC/MISC CHARACTER NOTES
Cbox Name: Jemi947
Nicknames: Jemi, STRIDIER, jemi123, Fran, the God Warrior
Main Account: Eponine’s.
Who else do you play?: Christine, Baelfire and Oswin
How did you find us?:
Category: Canon – Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji (combining the anime and manga)
Ranking: Anti-Hero
Reason for being on AM: To provide some class to you peasants.
Basic Details
Age: Thirteen
Species: Demon, previously human.
Physical Appearance: Normally, when not assuming any of the forms that his demonic abilities allow, Ciel is a small, rather feminine thirteen-year-old boy. His hair is black, but can appear a silvery gray-blue in a certain light. There's also no really nice way to say it; he's short. And unless he changes his appearance, he's likely to remain short.
The Phantomhives are actually known for being very good-looking, both men and women, and Ciel is no exception. His built is really more like a girl's, slender and even graceful sometimes (more so now that he's TAINTED). His visible eye is a bright blue, but it occasionally turns to red and glows if he's feeling particularly demonic. Ciel wears an eyepatch over his other eye, to hide the contract mark that binds him to Sebastian.
Ciel has a rather extensive wardrobe of fashionable clothing from his own era. He also wears two rings, the family ring of the Phantomhives and a Phantomhive crest. His ears are pierced and normally have blue jeweled studs in them. This was fashionable in his time for nobles, but may look a bit odd by today's standards. On the left side of his ribcage is a brand from the cult that kidnapped him as a child. Ciel takes great measures to ensure that this and his contract mark stay hidden at all times.
Like all demons, Ciel has black fingernails and his own contract mark somewhere on his body. Said mark is just above his wrist, easily hidden by clothing, and in the shape of a circle of thorns with a blue rose in the center. Should anyone form a contract with him (unlikely), this mark would appear on their bodies as well. In his demon form, his appearance doesn't change too much. He still appears somewhat humanoid, but gains a pair of horns and small wings. His clothing also changes to a long, red coat over a likewise colored shirt and shorts. He also wears calf-high red boots and a black choker around his neck.
Personality:
Perhaps the first thing that one notices about Ciel is that he's extremely unchild-like for a boy his age. His maturity is far beyond his years, and he prefers to be viewed as an adult, rather than a child. There are a few remaining vestiges of childhood (he enjoys sweets and playing board games, such as chess), but it's safe to say that Ciel has been aged by the events in his life. They've turned him cold and rather cynical. He views life as a giant game of chess, with himself as the king and the rest as pawns.
Ciel is extremely prideful, and his family's name and title is something that's extremely important to him. Sullying the name of Phantomhive would most likely result in an extremely angry demonic Earl and his butler after your head. Sebastian is the most important of Ciel's pawns, having been referenced as the pawn that Ciel can move wherever he pleases on the board.
As to other people, Ciel's feelings on them are generally cold. After all, pawns rarely matter, so long as the king is still in play. However, he has been known to display affection to others, namely his fiancee, Elizabeth and occasionally Sebastian. Ciel and Sebastian have a bond that is somewhat deeper than just demon and pray, for Sebastian has been shown to genuinely care about Ciel in canon (though, this may be due to the fact that Ciel's soul must be kept intact).
For his part, Ciel enjoys challenging Sebastian in areas of strength and skill, and isn't beneath giving his butler orders that are some form of revenge for humiliating him. The two seemed to have made a game out of, for lack of a better word, trolling each other in regards to Ciel's orders.
When it is needed, Ciel can indeed act like a normal-thirteen year old to blend in. Don't be fooled, however. He may seem like a pretty sweet kid, but if you're seeing this act, there's most likely a reason for it. There are actually a variety of acts that he can put on, but it's always the same underneath. At present, Ciel is still extremely loyal to Queen Victoria, and acts on her orders alone. Anyone standing in the way of his order is seen as an obstacle and a threat to be dealt with, most likely by Sebastian.

Powers & Abilities
TO BECOME A DEMON, ONE MUST BE:
- Swift as the coursing river: Demons can be very, very fast if they want to be, and Ciel is no exception. His reflexes are just the same, giving him the ability to catch bullets and dodge other attacks with an inhuman speed. A weapon in his hand is even more deadly, for though Ciel isn't as skilled with a sword as his fianceè, he can still deliver quite a blow and a fast one too.
- With all the force of a great typhoon: Combat. Before, Ciel wouldn't have been much of an opponent. He's a relatively good fencer, knows how to fire a gun (and keeps one on him at all times) and has Sebastian at his disposal, but apart from that, he was a normal thirteen-year old boy physically. These skills have remained, but increased quite a bit with the gaining of demonic abilities. With superhuman speed, agility and strength, Ciel is a formidable foe...when he can actually be bothered to fight you himself.
- With all the strength of a raging fire: Now at the same level as his butler, Ciel is most likely strong enough to lift several times his own size and even more than that. Demons in the show/manga have been show to be able to hoist up cars, snap telephone wires with a simple tug and effortlessly take down several armed men with only knives and forks as weapons.
- Mysterious as the dark side of the moon: Being a demon comes with a bunch of SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME supernatural powers. This includes and probably is limited to teleportation, shape-shifting, manipulation of certain elements (namely fire, though Ciel isn't skilled enough to fully manipulate it just yet), regeneration, and invulnerability. He is also immortal, though his lifespan as a demon has only just begun. As a demon, Ciel can form contracts with other creatures, mostly humans, and he himself has another demon bound to him.
Non-Demon Abilities
- Intelligence: Ciel is exceedingly intelligent for a boy his age, having run an entire company well for a number of years. In fact, he pretty much rebuilt it, after returning from being kidnapped. His knowledge is easily at the same level as an adult, and he isn't afraid to use this intelligence to manipulate others into doing as he says.

Main/Important Equipment
- Cane with a hidden rapier inside
- Pistol
Weaknesses
Psychological Flaws...
Not worth it: Ciel is more apt to make Sebastian do all of his dirty work than do it himself. If you're planning to fight Ciel, you'll probably end up facing Sebastian instead, because Ciel is just too damn classy to get his hands dirty.
Nobleman: Despite having disappeared and been thought dead, Ciel has restored his place as the head of the Phantomhives and is a noble once more. His family name and status is quite important, and anything who dares to sully the name of Phantomhive is most likely going to be on the receiving end of some demonrage.exe. However, this also means that Ciel must keep up his public appearance, which may prove to make him vulnerable in some situations.
Inexperience: Having just been changed, Ciel is still a young demon and doesn't have control over the full extent of his powers. While he usually endeavors to keep his powers under control, he cannot use the entire arsenal until Sebastian has taught him how to properly master it.
Physical Flaws...
EVERYTHING'S UNGAWDLY: Ciel is a demon. His soul has been irrevocably tainted and there's nothing that he can do about it. Now, he doesn't really care about that, but this does mean that any of those anti-demonic weapons that are floating about can do him harm. Holy objects, however, won't harm him. Ciel can enter churches and holy places quite easily, and showing him a cross isn't going to do much.

Note: Ciel's history will be blending manga and anime canon, using the manga to both fill in gaps the anime left open and to add onto the canon already present.
