Cardriff
On the outside this city seemed pretty normal, but in fact it was more special than anyone really knew. In a matter of seconds a blue police box faded into existence in a particular spot. Inside the box was an old madman fiddling around with a control panel inside the box that held another world inside of it. "All right just wait a few minutes, and we'll be good to go. Don't take too long now." the man said to the machine as if it was alive.
The Doctor took a deep breath as he let his ship charge itself up with fuel. Since it would take a while he figured he could do something to preoccupied himself. Standing still was just such an uncomfortable feeling for him. Perhaps...and old book would suffice, yes, one that he rather...enjoyed because of its characters. "Now where did I put it?" he said to himself as he wandered further into the TARDIS to look for it. Leaving the ship rather unattended.

Stops in Cardiff weren't too uncommon for their motley crew. After all, it was only a matter of time before the TARDIS needed recharging, and that often left the Doctor and his team, Clara included, to spend a day somewhere relatively normal. Which was really sort of abnormal, considering their idea of normal probably didn't quite fit with the regular standards. And really, that was just how Clara liked it. Normal was boring and repetitive and certainly not what people like her or the Doctor or Ridley or Lena were cut out for, even if the last in that list had a certain fondness for it.
For now, though, the girls had left the Doctor in the TARDIS to take a bit of a walk around the city. Clara had briefly considered donning clothing that was a little more modern in style in order to blend in, but really, Cardiff was used to seeing weirder than Victorian governesses tagging along with what appeared to be two relatively normal girls, even if one never removed her sunglasses. And yes, they'd gotten the odd stare, but Clara rarely minded too much. At least it'd give them something to talk about later on. Still, though, she could tell that they would probably want a little bit of time to walk around and not attract attention, so after they'd picked up something for lunch, Clara had offered to return to the TARDIS to make sure the Doctor was alright.
Unfortunately, after a bit of wandering around, Clara had forgotten exactly where they'd parked, or at least, how to get back to it. And she was quite certain that anyone who had someone dressed in the way she was ask them if they'd seen a blue box anywhere would mostly likely think the questioner was absolutely mad. And most likely would want to turn and run the other way instead of answering her. Honestly, Clara didn't think they should be so quick to judge. They were the ones dressed oddly to her, though really, she'd grown quite used to revealing modern clothing after living with Ridley.
In any case, Clara was perfectly capable of finding the TARDIS herself, even if it took getting a little lost. Ridley and Lena had those...odd little devices they called "cell phones" and she knew well enough how to use a pay phone (the Doctor had given her a rather long lesson in using one after she'd gotten lost wandering off in another city), so if worse came to worse, she could always ring one of them.
Peering down an alleyway, she pulled her shawl a little closer around herself. Probably not a good idea to head down there, especially without anyone around. Clara turned around, preparing to head down the street a little more when a flash of blue caught her eye. Ah! There it was. Funny, she couldn't quite remember parking somewhere like this, but maybe the Doctor had moved the TARDIS to get a little closer to the rift that supplied her with energy. Picking up her skirts, Clara hurried over to the blue box, pushing the door open a little more and heading inside without hesitation.
Oh.
She stopped dead in her tracks just a few feet inside, her mouth dropping open in shock. Instead of the golden console room she'd expected, with it's coral-like columns and somewhat ominous, shadowy console, Clara was greeted with a sight she'd never thought she'd see again. A room of metallic silver spread out before her, with lights shining in patterns along the walls and a rotating device high over her head, decorated with strange symbols. The exact same room she'd been in not a month or two ago, on her last day in the world she'd once inhabited.
For just a moment, Clara was there again, staring around in wonder and awe. Smaller on the outside, that's what she'd said. But it wasn't the room's size that was stunning her now, but the fact that she was actually seeing it again.
And maybe, just maybe, she'd be able to see the man who lived in it again.
"...Doctor?" It took Clara a moment or two to find her voice again, and even when she called out, it was uncharacteristically hesitant. Had she really found him again, after all this time?

Well it didn't seem like the book was anywhere where he thought he left it. Odd, he was certain he left it in that specific drawer. Guess he was wrong, which seemed silly. As he went back to check on the TARDIS that's when the sound of a familiar voice hit his ears. Once that he knew, but was surprised to see after all this time.
Without hesitation he rushed to the control room, only to find a familiar Victorian dress worn by a familiar woman. "Clara Oswald...of the past." It was definitely her, the governess who died saving the world from snow. He wasn't really surprised really, he had met one Clara-er...Oswin or Oswald before. He knew that the girl was anomaly in time and space, and that this dimension had a knack for pulling people out of time periods and bringing them together.
"Your a sight for sore eyes, wasn't sure if I was going to see you or not." he said as he approached her and looked her over. Yup, she was the real deal. "If you don't mind I have some simple questions for you that I'm curious about. One, when was the last time you saw me, and two, what have you experienced during your time here?"
A smile was laid on his face the entire time, he was curious about what point of time she was extracted from and if she had run into any trouble since she had been here. Some might find his actions and personality at the moment odd, but the Doctor was full of oddity. He was a mad man with a box after all.
