Category: Canon - Scary Movie (SPOOF CHARACTER)
Ranking: HERO.
Reason for being on AM: To make fun of everything.
Basic Details
Age: 25.
Species: Human.
Personality:
Cindy is that typical 90's horror movie heroine. You know, the one that you scream at not to make stupid decisions and then inwardly groan when she does so anyway, and somehow survives the the movie to be in the sequel? Yeah. That one. At this point, she's been through so many ridiculous cliche situations that she alternates between being completely unfazed and suitably terrified by the many horrors she continues to encounter. It seems that Cindy is always being chased by some murderer, or monster, or evil entity of some kind - and yet she somehow unfathomably survives every time, managing to solve each mystery and defeat each villain through her serendipitous, illogical behavior.
Clumsy, oblivious, and just sort of ditzy, she's certainly not the brightest crayon in the box. At the same time, however, she's usually soft-spoken and calm as well, creating a sort of spacey effect that has most rational people facepalming. Ironically enough, among the sort of people she's used to spending her time with, Cindy is actually used to being the rational one - so that should tell you something about the sort of company she keeps.
Through all her derpiness, though, Cindy actually is a genuinely kind person, most of the time. She never really has a mean word to say about anyone (unless you say she has a fat ass - then she'll call you a bitch and punch you in the face). She's easily distracted and even more easily confused, sure, but she's got a happy-go-lucky, friendly sweetness that makes her somewhat likeable if you have the patience to put up with her various mistakes. She's a little like a puppy - just kind of dumb, but happy, and it takes quite a lot to actually bring her down and dampen her spirits. She's the kind of person who just sort of goes with the flow, and doesn't really seem permanently affected by the traumatic situations she so frequently finds herself in.

Powers & Abilities
RANDOM MIRACULOUS FEATS - Floating in the air, suddenly developing fighting skills, or being momentarily brilliant when the occasion calls for it, Cindy's skills always seem to manifest at just the right moment. She just sort of...defies logic.
Horror Franchise Heroine Complex - Whenever Cindy's in a life-threatening situation, she somehow miraculously finds a way to cheat death and survive. She has to be in the sequel, after all.
Serendipity, Thy Name is Cindy - Cindy's random, idiotic mistakes, through some act of fate, often lead her to solving mysteries and unmasking killers.
Riverdancing - She's really good at it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Main/Important Equipment
Random objects she conveniently seems to have on her whenever she needs them.
Weaknesses
Psychological Flaws...
DERP - As previously stated, Cindy is by no means...smart. Most of the time, at least. She's easily manipulated, lied to, and led astray, usually remaining oblivious to even the most shadiest of characters.
you just tried to kill me OKAY LETS BE FRIENDS - Cindy...most certainly isn't the type to hold a grudge. You could be blatantly trying to murder her one moment, and the next she'd be perfectly content to hold a casual conversation with you.
Physical Flaws...
Clumsy as Fawk - She has all the grace of a baby penguin.
Human - And yet seemingly so un-killable...huh..
Glass Eye - Bad bar fight, '96.
Other Flaws...
Brenda - Brenda is Cindy's best friend. She's constantly being killed, leaving Cindy in frequent emotional states of grief.

History....
Cindy lived a fairly normal life - and a good one, too. She was popular in high school, had an equally popular boyfriend - but then one day, while in the car with her friends, Cindy hit an old man on the road. Though the old man survived the accident, Cindy and her friends panicked and dumped his body in a nearby lake. Soon after, Cindy's friends began to be picked off one by one by a mysterious killer who "knew what they did last Halloween". Ultimately, however, she was able to figure out the killer's identity: Doofy, Buffy's brother. However, Cindy was unable to share this realization before she was hit by a car.
She survived this with no real explanation, though she now seems to have lost all memory of who the killer was. Cindy moved on with her life, going on to college where she, Brenda (miraculously alive once more), and several of their friends were invited to participate in a psychological experiment at a haunted mansion. After several mysterious and terrifying events, they realized there was something very, very wrong with the house. Eventually, however, the group succeeded in defeating the evil spirits that haunted the house and proceeded to carry on with their normal lives as if nothing had happened.
Several years later, Cindy's life was plagued with strange events once again. After the death of her sister, Cindy adopted her nephew, Cody. She also got a job as a news anchorwoman. Soon, Cindy began to quite abruptly fall for a man named George, who was the single father of one of the kids in Cody's class. George, however, had some problems of his own: his family's farm had recently found strange alien symbols carved out in their crops.
Meanwhile, Brenda watched a video tape that promised she'd die in seven days. Sure enough, seven days later, she died...again. Cindy and Cody stupidly watched the video afterwards, leading Cindy to (finally) realize that the curse was real and proceed to find a way to save Cody and herself. With the help of a couple of aliens (the same ones who'd been terrorizing George's family - it was all just a misunderstanding, really), Cindy defeated Tabitha, the demonic little girl from the cursed video tape.
Afterwards, she married George - only for him to later die in a boxing accident. Inexplicably, Cindy decided to send Cody off to military school, living herself alone in the world once more. She then randomly took another job caring for an elderly woman in a strange old house...where, you guessed it, she encountered something supernatural. Mrs. Norris, the woman Cindy cared for, had experienced some sort of trauma and was left unable or unwilling to speak as a result. Cindy soon realized that the house was haunted by angry, vengeful Japanese spirits who killed anyone who caught there attention. Meanwhile, there was another alien invasion, leading Cindy to find Brenda...who, again, was SOMEHOW alive.
Toshio, the evil little ghost-boy from the house, told Cindy that she would find a way to stop the invasion by traveling to a mysterious village. Cindy and Brenda traveled to said village only to find that it seemed to be stuck...several centuries in the past, and that the people there never left for fear of some monstrous breed of creatures that preyed upon anyone who entered the woods surrounding the village. In the village, Cindy discovered that one of the council members was in fact Toshio's father, and was somehow responsible for the little boy's death - but the explanation was abruptly cut off by Cindy and Brenda being abducted by the aliens.
When they awoke, they found themselves entrapped in a room full of horrific torture devices, with a clown-like face appearing on a television screen and asking them if "they wanted to play a game". Thankfully, Cindy managed to escape and confront the clown about his evil plot - he apparently was behind the entire alien invasion. By giving an inspiring, emotional speech, Cindy managed to appeal to the clown's humanity, and got him to stop his evil plot and apologize for killing millions of people.
And they all lived happily ever after.
