So many things have changed, recently.
In fact, you could say that it's gotten to the point of mayhem. Mayhem that comes surprisingly close to title-dropping. Yes, that joke was stolen from Homestuck. Nowadays, there's more going on than anyone expected. Rifts in time and space, along with a certain uprising in villainous forces, have forced people into dealing with various villains and other nasty situations.
Many hints of the old world are gone, leaving the world in a state of constant flux. Who will come through the next rift - and what will they bring with them? What kind of crazy stuff will happen next? Just what is happening around here anyway? These questions and more are on the mind of the general population, who seek help from the various heroes coming in via rifts. But how long can they seek help from such a dwindling race?
With so many destructive forces coming in... how long is it before "heroes" are a thing of the past?
And yet, as ever, this party starts Afterhours.
