Queen Ravenna is most well-known for her vanity. At first glance, it may seem very simple - Ravenna knows herself to be the fairest in the land and she wants to stay the fairest in the land. While that is true, she isn't totally without reason for that. Thanks to her mother's curse, she's relied entirely upon her own beauty and youth to not only stay alive, but remain powerful. Suffice to say, there's good reason why she's afraid of losing her beauty or someone being better looking than her. Over the years, Ravenna has basically been forced into being the ridiculously vain person she is.

Ravenna, after living several lifetimes seeing {and experiencing} the cruelty of men, has grown bitter and hateful towards the opposite sex. She views them as nothing more than violent, barbaric savages who care for nobody but themselves. Sort of ironic, considering that Ravenna doesn't actually care for anyone but herself. Ravenna's hatred for men stems mostly from being used by them before - her first king not only forced himself upon her frequently, but he tried to throw her out the moment he found someone better. She's seen firsthand how men treat women and she absolutely hates it.

...Which is all rather strange, considering Ravenna's own behavior. All that bitterness and hatred has sort of... twisted Ravenna into the exact thing she used to despise - a violent, hateful manipulator who doesn't care about anyone but herself and certainly isn't afraid to use anyone or destroy anything to get her way. In fact, Ravenna has actually begun to enjoy hurting people. Ravenna has been twisted so much by her hatred that she just... hates everything. She views the world as a wretched place, filled to the brim with evil, cruel people. So, in a way, when she's hurting someone, she feels like she's just getting revenge for what happened to her.

Ravenna, although she may be inwardly violent and angry, is quite the expert manipulator. When she wants to, she's very good at restraining her anger and actually coming off as warm, kind and all-around good when she has to. Ravenna is an amazing actress, which actually comes in handy when she's shape shifting. At other times, Ravenna doesn't have to be good, she has to use her beauty to manipulate people. Ravenna has a great deal of experience using her appearance to manipulate men, and she actually enjoys doing so - at least, she enjoys seeing how simple it is for her to weaken men.

Powers & Abilities

• Immortality: At a very young age, Ravenna had a dark curse cast on her that made her continued existence dependent on her beauty. As long as Ravenna remains beautiful, she cannot be killed by any force, not even the modern weapons of today or the futuristic weapons of tomorrow. The only thing that can kill her is Snow White - but more on that in weaknesses.
  
  
• Telekinesis: Ravenna has a somewhat limited form of telekinesis. Certainly, she can throw people around, lift and move objects and even shatter solid objects from a distance... but, at the same time, she isn't very precise about it. She never took the time to learn more precise telekinesis, as it's already a rather draining ability to start with. Telekinesis is perhaps the ability that drains Ravenna's beauty the most, so it's only used when it's necessary.
  
  
• Dark Army: After shattering something with telekinesis, Ravenna can form the remaining pieces into semi-sentient warriors. The amount she can make depends on how many pieces are left and what she wants to create. Given time, Ravenna can create an entire army of human-looking warriors. If she's in a rush, she can form the glass together into a vaguely human shape. In both forms, the glass can regenerate quickly, making it difficult to actually destroy the warriors.
  
  
• Teleportation: Ravenna can go wherever she likes by teleporting. It's just self-explanatory by this point, really.
  
  
• Ravens: Ravenna can summon and telepathically control ravens. Said ravens are much faster and stronger than normal ravens, making them more useful in battle. However, they can be defeated by simple sword slashes, making them only really useful as a distraction technique. Normally, Ravenna is followed around by a small group of these ravens juuust in case.
  
  
• Enhanced Strength: Although nothing extremely powerful, Ravenna has strength beyond that of a normal human. With a single, almost lazy swipe of her army she was able to send an armored opponent flying across the room. If she were to try harder, Ravenna could definitely pack more of a punch than that. However, Ravenna doesn't like to strain herself, so she'll only put in effort when she absolutely has to.
  
  
• Shape Shifting: Ravenna can change her shape into pretty much anything, from a fellow human to a flock of ravens and anything in between. If she were to turn into multiple things, one or more of them could be killed without Ravenna dying. It would take the entire group's death before Ravenna herself actually dies.
  
  
• Youth Stealing: Ravenna has many ways to take people's youth and make it her own. The most simple way is just straight up sucking their soul out of their body through the mouth. No, it isn't done by kissing. It may seem disgusting, but Ravenna can also consume the hearts of any living creature, human or otherwise. To take hearts, Ravenna can just... reach into people's chests and rip their hearts out. Unlike certain other Evil Queens who can do this, Ravenna's way is much bloodier. Due to her vanity, Ravenna seems to prefer to take the beauty of women so that she can be assured as the fairest of them all.
  
  
• Enchantments and Curses: Many, many years of training has enabled Ravenna to cast a variety of spells, each with a different effect. She is, of course, most famous for casting a sleeping curse on an apple. She knows quite a few more spells, though she does need a bit of time to cast them, as well as certain ingredients in some cases.
  
  
• Combat: Although she may look somewhat frail, Ravenna is a surprisingly skilled combatant. She's had quite a long time to learn how to defend herself and she can do so well. For instance, she was able to effortlessly avoid the attacks of an armed opponent with her back turned to her. Ravenna is also quite skilled with her dagger, though she does tend to go a little over-the-top while fighting.

• Metal Talons: Ravenna is always wearing two metallic "talons" on her fingers - one on her thumb and one on her index finger. Said talons are mostly for tasks like eating and... well, let's be honest here, looking fancy. However, they are very sharp and could potentially be useful in battle if she's up close and disarmed.
  
  
• Dagger: Ravenna carries a curved dagger wherever she goes. Said dagger has been by her side since she killed the king of her very first kingdom, and has seen the deaths of many since then. The dagger has no special abilities, but is very useful in combat!
  
  
• Magic Mirror: Ravenna's Magic Mirror was once a simple golden surface, carved by dwarves and her first king's most valued possession. After killing the king, Ravenna used her magic to force his spirit into the mirror and make him serve her, forcing him to always tell her the truth whenever he's summoned. The king's spirit, when called, takes the form of a cloaked, golden man. Because of the spell's nature, only Ravenna can see him when he's called.

^{Psychological Flaws...}

• Vanity: Ravenna is just... ridiculously vain. She really HAS to be vain, or else she won't be able to keep herself as beautiful as possible... and then she'll die! However, Ravenna's vanity can be made into a definite weakness. She constantly feels like she has to be the most beautiful person in the world... so making her feel like she isn't will certainly be damaging.
  
  
• men pls: Ravenna despises men. She views them as greedy, violent, hateful people who want nothing more than to entertain themselves by hurting and killing. Coincidentally, Ravenna herself happens to be a greedy, violent and hateful person. Go figure. But no, she'll find it very difficult to trust men, with the exception of her brother {who happens to be dead}.
  
  
• aH FED AHP W/ DIS WURLD: Ravenna just sort of... hates the world and all the people in it. Her hatred for men has been explained, but she also sort of hates women for being a threat to her status as fairest of them all. So, she basically just... hates everything and everyone. ravenna pls
  
  
• SNO WITE B(: Ravenna is sort of... totally obsessed with killing her stepdaughter, Bella Swan Snow White, to the point where she abandoned pretty much every other pursuit just so she could kill her.
  

^{Physical Flaws...}

• Blood Enchantment: Ravenna's power comes from an enchantment her mother cast on her when she was a child. It made her beauty her power, making her fully immortal and giving her magical powers - but with a price. Now her power relies totally on her beauty - meaning that if she becomes ugly or old she'll just lose all of her powers... and she'll age to the point where she's just an old hag. Eh, Evanora? :] The worst part? Whenever she uses her magic, she slowly begins to age and lose her beauty. It is a long process, so it won't just suddenly start happening in a short fight. It can be reversed by taking beauty and youth.
  
  
• u stabbed me >:C: Although it certainly won't kill her, attacks still... work on Ravenna, to an extent. A knife will still stab into her, and such. It'll just be healed in a moment.
  
  
• ew snow: Only Snow White can truly kill Ravenna. The worst part is that she can kill her however she wants - there's really no specific way to do it. B( Snow's presence also makes Ravenna's blood enchantment weaken, making her age and lose power.

History....

Ravenna was born in a small village on the outskirts of the kingdom of Tabor. Although the village was poor, her life was far from normal - her mother was well known as a sorceress with powers greater than anyone in the land. People feared and respected her mother, although her mother was far from terrifying. She may have had magical powers, but she used them to help people, mostly by healing the sick. Her mother's abilities were still considered strange {and even evil by some of the townsfolk}, so Ravenna honestly didn't make many friends, besides her brother, Finn. On the other hand, as Ravenna grew older people began to notice her beauty. One day the village was attacked by a group of soldiers. Ravenna's mother, in one last effort to avenge their village, cast a powerful curse on Ravenna that not only passed her powers on to her daughter, but also made her immortal.

After everyone else in the village had either been killed or captured, Ravenna and her brother were taken to the king's palace. Her brother was forced to train to be a warrior and she became the king's personal maid. For several years, Ravenna worked as a maid. It was hard work, but she ended up becoming friends with the queen. As Ravenna grew older, it became apparent that the king was noticing her beauty. One night, Ravenna was doing work in the king's bedroom when he entered and forced himself upon her. Things continued on like that for several years, until the king realized that he didn't need his current queen anymore. The king had her thrown out of the castle, making Ravenna the queen. That very night, Ravenna killed the king out of vengeance and became the sole ruler of his kingdom.

However, his kingdom was small - nothing compared to Tabor. Ravenna sought more power. So, she raised an army and began trying to conquer more. She succeeded, for a while. After hundreds of years, Ravenna's army was defeated and she was forced to go into hiding. Eventually, she caught word of Tabor's king losing his queen to illness. Ravenna quickly took action, ordering her army to attack Tabor. She dressed up as a prisoner of the army and got into a carriage that the army would carry. The king's army arrived and defeated Ravenna's army. The king found Ravenna and was astounded by her beauty. The king took her in and crowned her his new queen. Of course, this was a mistake. Ravenna killed the king that very night, took over the kingdom and locked the king's daughter, Snow White, in the tallest tower of the castle.

For sixteen years, Ravenna's rule destroyed the land. She was a wicked tyrant, caring nothing for her people or the land she ruled. One day, however, it came to her attention that Snow White had come of age... and become more beautiful than her. Ravenna ordered her brother to kill Snow White. Snow White managed to escape the tower without being harmed. Ravenna, in a rage, ordered her brother to find someone to hunt Snow White. Finn found a huntsman, who was capable of finding his way around the Dark Forest and killing Snow White. However, the Huntsman ended up helping Snow. Ravenna proceeded to do what she should have done in the first place: she sent Finn and some of his soldiers out to kill Snow.

The Huntsman ended up killing Finn and his soldiers. Ravenna decided to take matters into her own hands by appearing to Snow White in the form of William, a prince who was in love with Snow, and offering her a poisoned apple. Snow took it and fell into a deep sleep. Ravenna disappeared, believing that she had won. However, the Huntsman and William ended up being able to wake Snow up with ~true love's kiss~. Snow, the Huntsman and William proceeded to train for a while, so they could be able to fight Ravenna. After a few months, they were ready. They raised an army and laid siege to Ravenna's castle. Snow made her way to Ravenna's tower and fought her. Ravenna clearly had the upper hand for a while, but was eventually killed by Snow.

Then the rifts took Ravenna to AM. :]

ravenna decided that maybe kristen stewart isn't actually as pretty as her so she just kind of forgot about that and didn't care anymore and then she brought her brother back to life because i don't know and she was like "fuck u" and she threw him out of the castle and he died and then ravenna was p. much done with everything so she cast the dark curse and brought the whole kingdom of tabor to a town called storybrooke
