OOC/MISC CHARACTER NOTES
Cbox Name: Enkashi
Nicknames:Enkashi! Vaya! Nemo!
Main Account:This one!
Who else do you play?:Several others, put in little boxes for the time being :3 Aside the Brood.
How did you find us?: PIE
Category:OC
Ranking: Villain
Reason for being on AM:She's been here a while <3
Basic Details
Age: 17 and a bit
Species: Half-titan, Half-human
Physical Appearance: Eliza is a pale, platinum-blonde haired young woman who dresses modestly, favoring comfort over style, her body thin and athletic, built like a runner. She's not incredibly distinct, save her unusual hair color - to see her, you'd think she was an art nerd, and you'd still be... mostly correct in that surmise. She carries around a big bookbag, frequently has a cup of coffee in her hand, and smiles brightly.
When she's using her powers, her eyes light up - literally! They glow bright crimson from their normal sea blue-gray, and the air around her grows thick. Light and colors seen through this aura seem more intense, more vivid, like the saturation was turned up very high on an image. The effect is quite unsettling, tastes faintly of blood, and feels... suffocatingly heavy.
As the Broodmother, Slade's Apprentice, she wears an armored uniform designed by Slade to take the most advantage possible of her unique abilities. The skin of her hands is exposed, but largely concealed under sleeves that hang a size or two too long over them. The sleeves portion of them rises into segmented plates, ending at the shoulders with rounded pauldrons. The neck of her outfit rises like a bomb squad flak jacket, the collar made from thick plates covered in the same black material under the armor on the rest of the suit, largely concealing her face beneath the eyeline. Her head is protected under a helmet and mask, the eyes of which always glow brilliant red which obscure the use of her powers.
The mask is styled after Slade's mask, made of black and red metal, giving her a severe profile that cuts like a knife. The chest of her armor is crafted of composite plates, tooled with maximum protection balanced with maximum mobility, crafted of lightweight and strong materials, black on the fabric portions, deep blood red on the metallic portions. There is a sword about a foot and a half in length with a beautiful, jeweled hilt on the back of a utility belt, which is set with capsules, a small rod about six inches in length, and other capsules full of a faintly glowing clear liquid. The armor of the legs is especially light, and the whole thing clings to her nicely - the equipment of a person who doesn't intend to get hurt, not-at-all based on how it was meant to look rather than how it was intended to function.
Personality: Eliza is a good-natured, confident young woman, quick with a smile and a kind word. Meeting her in the street, she seems about as low-key as they come, perhaps like a college student or young teacher. There's something about her though... a kind of... intensity, like she sees the world a little differently, like she stares just a bit too intently. There is a sense of intensity, of action stilled, like she's got a million things on her mind yet is concentrating on the moment. If you were to watch her long enough, you'd probably notice she doesn't space out or truly sit still.
With her claws out Eliza is the kind of villain who, with somebody she intends to kill at her mercy, kills them without a word - she doesn't gloat or monologue. She's a good person, truly, but she acts with conviction - she does whatever she does as hard as she can and with all her will behind it, rarely seeing fit to explain her motivations. She isn't the 'chatty' sort of badguy. She comes off steady and cold and deliberate.

Powers & Abilities
-For the last year or so, Slade has daily beat her ass. This qualifies as martial arts training only in that she's gotten good at... getting her ass kicked - minimizing harm, being where danger is not, and staying frosty under fire.
-The fury Alesis taught her how to use a Shortsword in the old martial traditions, and Slade saw to it she didn't need to rely upon it, but proficiency isn't the same as mastery - she's good, but not amazing.
-Eliza's primary 'superpower' is the ability to make a thing called a Geneseed - a small marble sized ball of flesh she can make on any patch of exposed skin. From this geneseed, she can create life, shaping it with her mind and with her hands like clay. All her creatures (so far!) are made this way! This isn't particularly difficult, but it is strenuous. She can only keep it up in one sitting for so long - a few hours is the limit of her endurance.
-She can, instead of making a whole and complete creature right away, imbue a geneseed with a creature's imprint and her own energy - it takes no less time to make initially, but makes a creature she can call upon when needed most.
-She is the center of the Brood. While it's all connected (something called "endotelepathy", a hive mind between multiple individuals of a common origin), her involvement focuses it. This is her greatest strength - under her command, the Brood becomes like a single thing, information from all of them put in context more tightly and naturally than the Brood could manage without her.
-Eliza is a talented sorceress, naturally gifted with white magic (and totally inept with black magic). Spells of a benign nature just come naturally to her.
----Healing is her specialty. She's developed a flexible healing spell that can be used in a variety of ways - to heal over time, to be launched in bolts, emanated as an aura, fired in a ray, you name it!
----Deflection - wrapping projectiles and hurtling objects in layers of solid force and manipulating that force enough to bend the path of a projectiles - bullets, arrows, rockets, whatever, the faster and more immaterial the harder.
----Sanctuary magic and runes to operate them are forms of protective and utility abjurations. She's developed a way to create an ethereal pathway between two established sanctuaries almost instantly with a key or beacon to operate it. She can also make attuned runes etched into stone or metal that act like either beacons or keys - to move things FROM a sanctuary, or TO a sanctuary (it consumes these to enact the spell. For one person, it'd be something the size of a bottlecap.)
-----Spellbreaking takes a bit of effort - at least half as much as it took to make the spell. From a young sorceress like her, this could... take a while.
-----Meditation, for her, means pushing her senses out of her body. Doing this to focus on her children is hard when she's walking around - she's got it down to immediate area a treat, but to project her will out further than that, she must settle down and meditate.
-----Research: She does it. It's how she came up with her Healing Matrix spell and the sanctuary runes.
-Her gaze when using her inherited powers can make a person lock up if they make eye contact with her. The paralysis really is temporary (a few seconds across a room, or like a half hour or so at close range), and if they're attacked the spell is broken. If she locks eyes with herself in her reflection she paralyzed, and the power doesn't work across a television screen or something like that.

Main/Important Equipment
-White matrix-imbued drinks, like water, carry the spell's healing properties. They can hold a charge for a few days, but after that it fades. She keeps a couple flasks of the stuff on her belt as the Broodmother, and in her bag as Eliza. Regardless, the liquid itself glows!
-The suit Slade made for her as his apprentice provides solid protection - a lot of it is obvious, but it does have some power assist and clever design to keep her from feeling its weight or being impeded by it overmuch.
-Her helmet-mask has some bells and whistles - an NBC filter, light amplification, data assistance, sound amplification, infrared, that kind of thing. In addition, it obscures the use of her powers.
-Energy drinks help refuel her powers, for some reason. Coffee does it too, to a limited effect, but the ideal drink has a lot of other things, since her powers use other things.
-Her shortsword is special - it was forged by her mother's direction to protect her mind and body from those who would seek to control her. In particular, it is bane to illusions and transformations - it can't be changed, literally or in anyone's perception by any illusion or power, and the one who wields it gains this benefit as well.
-a few Sanctuary runes - she always carries a few on her person.
-A messenger bag, a collection of sketchbooks, one or two interesting grimoirs (books of occult knowledge), pencils, pens (one or two with useful eldritch inks),
Weaknesses
Psychological Flaws...
-Her children are bound up to her - She can tell when they are hurt and feels a small portion of their pain herself, in addition to the benefits they grant her from such a tie. These are not mere minions to their mother - they are her children. To destroy them does much to provoke her, for the pain she feels is not merely emotional at their loss.
-Eliza has a tendency to crave unusual things - raw, even turning-bad meat is appealing to her.
-Eliza is given to brief, quite-intense flashes of rage at small provocations, and it affects her judgement somewhat. Her tendancy to stay longer than is strictly neccesary in a fight when provoked into it is a major weakness in the right situation.
-Her mind is a touch alien and very, very unusual regardless - any psychic could tell something was... eerie about her.
Physical Flaws...
Her eyes glow when she uses her powers, preventing secretive use of them. Her body is not invulnerable like her mother's, and she is a mere mortal, despite her martial skill and magical ability - she can only handle so much. She tires, she gets injured with human frailty, weapon though she may be.
Other Flaws...
-Her powers are tiring. She requires a good deal of energy to use them, and that means she needs to eat things with a lot of energy in them and keep her mental energies up to maintain the requesite intense concentration.
-As it stands, she is only strong enough currently to maintain four hour's continuous concentration before needing to rest.
-She hasn't yet figured out a way to continue on a creature she has already made or modify them further, not without... considerations.
-Her creatures aren't 100% under her control. Granted, they generally obey their mother, and are obligated to do so if she demands it of them, but she generally lets them have their own free will. Her more intelligent servants, like Raveners, while they do love their mother can actually defy her if they so-cared to do so.
-The Furycraft Shortsword, while it will lend her protection from illusions and harpysong, is inert when she's not holding it. When it lends its power to her, when she is using it to resist an illusion, it hums and resonates with harpysong. Those around her find it harder to resist the power she is shrugging off.
-She is Slade's apprentice - he's not a nice man, and I seriously doubt he'd leave her totally to her own devices. She answers to him.
