Cbox Name: Enkashi!
Nicknames: Enk!
Main Account: The Broodmother
Who else do you play?: The Broodmother, Jezebel
How did you find us?: You cant hide from me <33
Category: Canon (Dark Souls)
Name: Crossbreed Priscilla
Alias: ... Penny!
Age: Unknown! She looks maybe 19 or 20 years old. She could be younger, could be older.
Species: Half-Dragon, Half-Lord (Daughter of Seath the Scaleless and the sun-"goddess" Gwynevere, she has no scales and grew to a massive size, compared to humans. In her world, Lords are considered gods - whether this is so is entirely up to speculation.)
Ranking: Neutral
Physical Appearance:
Priscilla is someone to which the phrase "fair maiden" could easily be applied, in a storybook kind of way. Her hair grows past her hips with a radiant silver hue, white as snow. Her face is gentle and fair, with several short horns that are just visible on her brow and brilliant crystal-green eyes tinged with sadness and a distant expression of worry. She seems to glow with an inner radiance that is most intense on her chest just below the ribs, where her skin is translucent and a crystalline dragon heart is just visible beneath, hinting at her nature as Seath the Scaleless's daughter.
The girl is hard to imagine without the plush white dress she wears, made fuzzy and layered to keep her warm in the painted world of Ariamis (her frozen home) but it serves a double purpose, and that is to help disguise her nature. Priscilla bears patches of soft, downy fur, most prominent upon her cheeks, neck, belly, and along the entire length of the soft, fleshy tail that grows maybe six feet in length. The white plush of her dress matches the tone of this downy fur exactly, and this is deliberate.
On the whole, she would not be a terribly imposing figure - provided of course you could ignore the fact she is well over ten feet tall ^^; but that's a fact of heritage.
Personality: Really, Priscilla just wants two things out of life. First and foremost is to be left alone! She was born with power she never asked for or wanted, with a heritage that labeled her an abomination - something that should 'never have existed'. You could say she's a bit twisted up inside, but that doesn't do it justice. She hasn't turned despair of rejection into hate though - she simply turned in on herself as many people do in cases like this, and developed a hardened shell (of a sort) she can hide behind.
What she REALLY wants though is acceptance. Its all she ever really wanted - the chance to live her life freely with people that don't cringe every time they look at her, and the freedom to live her life as she sees fit. She hasn't dared to hope this could happen, however... At least, not yet.
She is a polite, slightly naive, gentle-natured young woman that never wanted to hurt anyone - but has had to, to defend herself and to protect others from her power, and it eats away at her - or it would, if she let herself think on it. If you were to get close enough to know her, to earn her trust, you would be hard-pressed to find a more loyal friend.
Powers/Abilities:
Magical Talent: Her father is the scaleless albino dragon Seath, and her mother is the 'goddess' of the sun, Gwynevere - Priscilla has incredible untapped magical talents even she cannot dream of. If she ever found a willing tutor, she could become a powerful mage.
----Invisibility: Less a spell and more of a... Wild manifestation of her sorcerous talent and a desire to be left alone, Priscilla can turn herself invisible. She can remain so for long periods of time, even while attacking, but being struck hard enough or with arrows or fire can distract her enough so the effect derails and she becomes visible.
Lifehunt: She can call the Lifehunter scythe to her hand and safely wield it - no other can, not without suffering its effects. She was born to be the antipathy of all life - only thing is, she "DOTH NOT WISH THIS, INDEED I DOTH NOT! I SOUGHT NOT THIS TERRIBLE GIFT OF DESTRUCTION!!!!!" Though she can manifest a scythe of death, her own reluctance blunts and weakens it... Considerably.
Harpies: monstrously transformed crow-esque worshippers of the goddess of sin, Velka, these monsters have been set to protect Priscilla from those who might seek to slay her and wield the Lifehunter themselves. They are not much of a threat singly, but they come in packs and reincarnate in hours when slain. They will not attack if a) Priscilla is watching or b) Priscilla had expressly forbidden them to do so. They are not under her control, strictly and good grief are they cruel little harlots! Err, I mean... "They Art My Friends :> Tho They Speak Not, They Have Kept Me Company And Show Such Kindness :>"
Frost Breath: Priscilla has a frost dragon's heart in her breast, and can breathe a gout of bitter cold to freeze... Stuff. She isn't bothered by cold much, either - natural cold really cannot hurt her, and she is highly resistant to unnatural cold.
Reluctant Fighter: She has had to deal somewhat strictly with an awful lot of hollows in her life, and she's even killed one or two (most end up being turned over to the ravens who Surely Must Loose Them Into Their Own Worlds :>). She isn't an enthusiastic warrior, but she isn't helpless exactly...
Painted World: She's escaped her prison :>! Priscilla figured out that her world actually lies in the reality of dreams. It is a world born of the artist Ariamis's imagination - just as other paintings are born of the imaginations if others! Sooo... They're all connected, right?! Right! She can step from her painting... Into another, and from there she can find an exit into the world that painting happens to occupy, if she wishes! She can also enter paintings, and take others with her inside as well - A Source Of Endless Fancy, I Do Not Wonder :>!
Lord-born: She is huge! Even if she is not a warrior, she is sturdier than a human and three times our size - it counts.
Equipment:
The Lifehunter Scythe: This weapon is a manifestation of Priscilla's Lifehunt ability, shaped from her soul's own energies. With it, she can inflict terrible wounds that sap life force from those struck by its terrible edge. She rejects its power, and tries only to defend herself - thus both its edge and its terrible thirst as a harvester of souls are dulled.
Psychological Flaws:
All knotted up: She is a mess. All her life she has been told she is an abomination, worse than worthless, and that she should never have been born - and she was told these things by her supposed parents. What do you suppose that does to a heart? Nothing nice! She's damaged goods, and after so long, she's begun to believe in the cruelty.
A bit off the deep end...?: Penny has apparent trouble with threat identification and good judgement. Oh, My Friends The Crows? They Art Quite Kind :> (maybe to her - to just about anyone else, they're evil minded and malicious, if not outright murderous - at least when she isn't looking.) She's a bit naive, and its probably a self-protective psychological response - quite tenacious.
Sheltered: She lives in a damn painting. How diverse do you think her experiences are?
Physical Flaws:
Fire, Lightning: Just as she is strong against frost, she is weak against fire and electrical attack.
Mostly harmless: A warrior of any serious competence could beat her mediocre skills easily unless she uses trickery ( :>)
Dont Hurt My Tail!: Its Is Quite Sensitive! D:
Flimsy lil lordling: Priscilla isn't immortal, not by any means - she might have a lifespan a hundred times or more greater than a human's, but she has human frailties - cut her and she bleeds - and harpies try to pull your head off.
Other Flaws:
Polite!: She Doth Speak In An Odd Fashion, With Almost Painful Good Manner! She can't be rude. She can't curse. She's polite and ladylike right up until she sticks a scythe in your ear - and even then she's polite about it.
Brief History:
:>
And then she figured out the truth about paintings and stuff, and came here!
(Really, though, Dark Souls lore is all bloody speculation and favors just about any theory you would care to put forward ^^; It tells you nearly nothing about anyone.)
Reason for being on AM: Paintings! She has learned of a way to stride from world to another by moving from painting to painting - and this world is a pandimensional sinkhole.
