So, in my infinite wisdom, I have seen fit to concoct yet another grandiose plot to instill utter despair and misery upon the world of Afterhour Mayhem, and break the hearts and souls of all of you wonderful people who inhabit it. It is, in essence, a version of a game called Dangan Ronpa, but changed around somewhat to work on AM. Details, details, yes don't worry I will explain the workings to everyone who shows any interest in it.
Also, first of all let me say: You absolutely do not have to have played Dangan Ronpa or read/watched an LP of it to participate in this. The amount of spoilers or material referencing the game needed to understand what's going on is minimal at best, and we will work to keep the miniscule amount that there are to an absolute minimum. And with that said, on to the meat of this idea.
Basically, the idea is that, at some point, the characters of those involved will get a letter or some form of communication, inviting them to join a magnificent team that watches over not only the planet Earth, but much of space beyond. They seek to annihilate despair, misery and evil wherever it shows its roots, and bring the magnificent light of justice and hope to the masses. Now this does not mean that your character has to be a SHINING EXAMPLE OF GOODNESS AND VIRTUE AND HOPE to partake, but definitely no absolutely evil characters. That just.....well, you can probably figure it out.
Now, upon arriving, everything goes well and good for quite some time. Until a terrible event occurs that wracks the team to its very foundation, putting their entire facility into a state of near-collapse....but it survives, along with those within. Unfortunately, during the brief blackout and collapse, the team's memories were mysteriously....disrupted. They awaken, with barely any idea of where they are, aside from the memory of being invited to join the team.
However, they quickly find out something is amiss. Despite the damage to the facility they are oblivious to, the entire facility is completely undamaged and fine, though every inch of the facility is blocked off and sealed, with no escape of any kind visible. They are locked within their own base. And to compound matters, they are confronted by a strange beast calling himself Monobear, who reveals the most shocking truth of all: no one can leave the facility unless they kill one of their comrades.....and go undiscovered in doing so.
To make matters worse, those of the group with great powers will find themselves virtually powerless, suddenly little more than human, yet further heightening the panic in the area.
Now, this is only the most bare-bones skeleton of the plot available, and is only here to serve as an interest check for the plot. Once sufficient interest is voiced, more information will be made available and actual signups can be made and done in proper order.
And so with that, have at thee! Ask questions, voice interest, offer suggestions/ideas/whatever. This is supposed to be fun, after all, even if it is meant to break your souls into pieces.

- But if people are supposed to die, then....how? How would that work out?
Don't worry about that. We have certain, shall we say, "investors" who will revive anyone who dies after the plot reaches its conclusion. With their memories all repaired and everything they've done can torment them as you see fit. - How will the killing even take place?
WELL, there is always the option of someone offering themselves to be a victim or a killer, in which case the details will be worked out privately to ensure proper SUSPENSE for the rest of the team. Failing this, we will use a random number generator to provide kills and killers if all else fails. To REALLY keep things suspenseful. - So how does this whole thing even WORK?
A good question. Usually, Monobear will provide a motive to the trapped teammates to goad them into killing. Then after a while.....said murder will happen. Usually only a few days for the characters. Then when the body is discovered, an investigation takes place. If the murderer isn't proved unanimously guilty in a trial which follows, then they get to leave scot-free. If they are, however, then they will be executed. Simple, right? - That was stupid and none of it told me anything
Well then, ask questions you actually want to know and we can maybe answer them.
