Physical Appearance: In her own country, Sonia is known for her beauty, and her appearance is described as having a somewhat alluring effect. She's tall - almost model-tall, standing at about 5'8, and quite slender. Her skin is pale and clear, almost 'crystalline', and her features are clean and somewhat elegant - it isn't difficult to believe she's royalty, looking at her. She has long, thick blonde hair, cascading down almost to her legs, and usually parted so that it sweeps over part of her face. She's taken to pinning part of it back with a black satin bow, recently. Her eyes are a light sky blue, with hints of grey, and she's usually seen in a dress of some sort. Nothing outrageously elaborate, like she might have worn in her home country - no, something as simple as a short dark green dress will do.
Personality:
Sonia is the very picture of elegance: well-mannered and respectful, while clearly but politely expecting respect in return. She's typically quite polite and even friendly, if somewhat formal (though the formality may in part be owed to the language barrier, and her speech is sometimes peppered with odd slang phrases she picks up). Though she is royalty, however, she is hardly haughty or conceited. She does not take kindly to rudeness shown towards her, but nor does she expect to be worshiped or to be treated any better than anyone else. She considers herself on an equal level with her peers, and often becomes mildly flustered when someone around her age attempts to treat her like royalty. The truth is, Sonia doesn't really like being alienated from people in this way. In Novoselic, she did not have any friends her age, and they were what she longed for most. So she's sort of attempting to...make up for lost time, now. She's eager to befriend those around her, and treats everyone with kindness and compassion as long as it seems to her that they deserve it.
Make no mistake, though - though she can be poised and refined, she's no prissy pushover. And though she does not expect any special treatment, she's perfectly capable of embracing her authority when she needs to. When provoked, Sonia has a rather commanding presence. It can be a bit overpowering and striking, and when this firm and assertive side of her shows, it's difficult not to respect her. She's also quite confident in her ability to take care of herself, having stated on the island that she did not intend to kill anyone, but nor did she intend to be killed. When it comes down to it, Sonia's not afraid of getting her hands dirty and risking a dangerous situation. She's not entirely new to conflict, though she prefers to avoid it when she can manage to.
For she's an optimist, at heart. She likes to believe there's a way to solve most situations without someone getting hurt, and her cheer and idealism can be somewhat contagious. However, her optimism has a certain sense of innocence about it, and it can reach the point where she comes off as rather...naive. Sonia is extremely clever, and observation and deduction are practiced skills of hers, but there are still some things she can be quite gullible about. She doesn't like to believe in many of the evils of the world, preferring to believe that people are good at heart, and there is an explanation behind every negative action. And her friends are a serious blind spot of hers. She finds it difficult to believe anything but the best of them, and it took some convincing for her to actually accept that the first murder that occurred on the island had been committed by one of their own. She may try to believe the best in someone even when there's a lot of evidence to the contrary - right up until they make it impossible for her to do so any longer.
Despite her best efforts, there's still a bit of a cultural and language barrier between her and those not from her native country, and this frustrates Sonia at times. She'll sometimes forget that Novoselic customs are not observed elsewhere, and holds people to standards they are completely unaware of. And she tends to struggle with slang - she may use it the wrong way and be completely oblivious of doing so. And yet, she's so determined that she'll keep right on using it anyway, occasionally creating bewildering contrasts to her usual formal manner of speech.
Above all, Sonia values her friends. She is an extremely caring, compassionate, and most certainly loyal person - even to the point of when she forbade anyone to speak badly of one of the students who'd murdered someone. Empathy is one very positive trait she has, and her kindness, while a bit misguided or excessive at times, can be inspirational.

- Aloha Means Family - Sonia is multi-lingual, fluent in over thirty different languages - including English and Japanese, as well as her native tongue. She is not, however, always well-versed in the slang of these languages - and sometimes gets phrases mixed up.
- Super High School Level Etiquette - As a member of Novoselic's royal family, Sonia has been brought up under a certain level of etiquette. She is extremely useful in diplomatic situations, and knows the proper procedures for official ones - along with extra skills such as ballroom dancing, elaborate table utensil etiquette, and other similar things a royal child might learn. 2fancy.
- hwaht makes hyou say dat - Sonia is one of the Academy students with a particular affinity for solving logic problems. To be specific, she has an extremely sharp eye and takes notice of even the tiniest details, and has mentioned being good at Spot the Difference puzzles. When a mystery arises, she's known to surprise those around her with her affinity for helping to solve it.
- I read it in the ORIGINAL JAPANESE >____> - She's certainly what you could call cultured. Sonia's studied up on not only the languages in a variety of places, but of their cultures, too. That doesn't mean her knowledge is perfect - she slips up, sometimes - but she makes a decent traveler because of it, and knows more about many parts of the world than most would. Oh, and on a pop culture note - she knows quite a bit about serial killers and horror movies.
- and then the powers from sonia distoyed the dark lord - It's mentioned that the Royal Family Sonia is from, rather than taking a leadership role, protects their country from invasion - and thus are trusted by their people. It can therefore be assumed that Sonia has some combat skill, be it hand-to-hand or with a weapon. In fact, she's mentioned to know how to operate tanks.

Psychological Flaws...
- FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC - There's no way around it: Sonia has a pretty evident air of innocence around her, and it isn't fake. She can be rather naive about certain things, particularly when it comes to her friends. Even when things seemed grim and people were dying, she did not wish to think the worst of them until the evidence was undeniably presented to her.
- lol foreigner 2funny - Cultured as she is, Sonia still hasn't experienced much of anything outside of her tiny European country. Needless to say, at times she can be a bit...lost and oblivious in certain situations. In addition, though she's perfectly capable of taking care of herself, she is a princess and was brought up having certain things just handed to her. Not having that may take some getting used to.
- CONVENIENT AMNESIA GO - Yeah, Monobear stole the students' memories :[. Sonia herself was pulled here before she got hers back. Whatever was repressed is going to stay that way until something triggers it, most likely.

- As a person, as a Human Bean - Sonia is, naturally, only human, and possesses no special super-powers. She can therefore be killed relatively easily in comparison to some of AM's residents.
