Basic Details

^Age: Actual age unknown, due to the curse. Physically around 35.

^{Physical Appearance:}

Doctor Whale is a fairly good looking person. Standing at 6'0", so he's a pretty tall guy. His hair, which is cut short and usually neatly combed, is a dark shade of blonde. His skin is pale from being inside the hospital so much and generally being a recluse. whale pls. His eyes are light blue, although none of the colors could be seen in his world of origin. For whatever reason, Doctor Whale needs reading glassed. Preferably tinted red. :]

As for body build... well, recently, he hasn't exactly been taking care of himself. He's only been eating and sleeping when he absolutely has to and... well, he's been drinking a lot more than eating. So, he doesn't look like he's in the best shape. In fact, he's gotten much thinner than he was before with dark circles under his eyes from tiredness. However, he does manage to stay neat. He doesn't look dirty or anything like that.

His clothes are... difficult to explain. In his world, he would wear much more dramatic clothes, simply because it was normal there. Meaning, it was much more Victorian era, pseudoscience lab coat sort of things. When not on the job, he would wear fancy clothes like buttoned shirts, vests, suits and the like. When working, he wore black, leather labcoats with large buttons and that sort of thing.

Of course, in Storybrooke, that had to change. Doctor Whale wore much more casual clothing in Storybrooke, which means regular shirts, pants, jackets, whatever. It was nothing special. On the job, he wore a lab coat and more official, serious business clothes. Still, they were usually in lighter colors like blue and green.

When the curse broke, Doctor Whale began taking to dressing with a little bit more flair. Of course, he didn't want anyone to know who he was before so he didn't make it obvious. He started dressing in darker colors, especially black and grey.

Powers & Abilities

• "Not magic... It's science.": Victor Frankenstein was possibly the greatest scientist in his world. He devoted his entire life to science and, while he doesn't know everything, he knows quite a bit about a variety of scientific topics, including chemistry, physics and especially biology. Frankenstein claimed that his knowledge of science could do things even more powerful than what could be accomplished by magic. Judging by what it's capable of doing in his world, he may very well be right. His world doesn't have the same science explored in the normal world. In his world, bringing back the dead using scientific equipment is totally possible. Who knows what else could be possible?
  
  
• "It's alive.": Frankenstein spent most of his studies looking into the possibility of bringing back the dead. He wanted great things for his family name and he was intent on getting them. So, he devoted years of study to bringing the dead back to life. And... he's very near succeeded. Technically, he has brought dead people back to life. The only problems are that it turns whoever is brought back to life into a crazed monster and it the procedure requires a heart magically ripped from a body. So, there are definitely some setbacks.
  
  
• "I'm a hell of a doctor.": As Doctor Whale, he learned quite a bit about usual hospital doctor things. He learned all about surgeries, working hospital equipment and about how to keep someone healthy. Basic doctor stuff.

• sCIENCE: Doctor Whale has a ton of scientific equipment at the hospital. He made a lot of it himself, since this world doesn't exactly have the equipment he'd need to raise the dead. This is all a lot of weird, fake-futuristic looking stuff. Example here in the background.
