Phazon - a toxic, radioactive substance of unknown origin, generally found either in various ore forms, as a native element as seen above (either in solid or liquid form) and a multitude of other forms and location. Highly resistant to most forms of attack as both a solid element or compound, it is lethal should most unshielded life forms come in contact with even a small amount for more than a few moments, and large quantities of it instantly kill upon contact - even armor and environmental suits are of little use, as the unique form of radiation emitted from it will penetrate most substances easily at close proximity. Those who aren't killed after coming in contact with the substance are usually horribly mutated, granting increased musculature, speed and overall power, but often at the cost of their minds as brain tissue begins to degenerate even as the muscles grow. Capable of converting nearly any matter it comes into contact with into more Phazon over time, the substance is like a cancer, always growing, always spreading - so what will be the cure?
This account was created to be the NPC account for all things Phazon and Phazon related - Dark Samus can't be everywhere at once
, so between that and her mission to spread the corruption wherever and whenever possible, it's not too surprising she'd have made a few minions here and there, either to act as miniature Phazon factories like herself for the sole purpose of spreading the disease, or to act as muscle or otherwise pawns for whatever other purposes she might have for them. Listed below will be a roster of all creatures that have been corrupted to at least a certain extent, including their names, appearance, abilities, weaknesses, role and/or temperament and the extent of their corruption. Creatures, once terminally corrupted, will become much like Dark Samus herself - no longer linked to the fate of Phaaze or its copies, and as such these creatures should be prioritized as targets by all aware of them so as to contain the spread of the substance.Format:
