Well back then Sting was on so much alcohol that he probably was too busy batting at flying fish to care, Davey Boy Smith was on so many drugs that to be honest he probably saw things odder then that just by looking in the mirror, Sid Vicious is just insane so that's a normal thing, Booker T was in jail so a guy in a sparkly helmet was not at all a new thing, and wrestlers in general are just use to that.

Also they're really good at containing laughter, which is the true answer.
