"'Determined'...Indeed they are. Are you aware girl, that there are gods in this universe? Beings of unimaginable power, whose very existence can either be the ultimate praise, or the darkest heresy."
Kharn seized to look at Terra for the moment, turning to the group completely, his arms crossed, his crimson hand touching the bottom of his chin as if he were helmet-less. His voice was smooth, yet strong, and his tone was gentle, yet grounded. He spoke with great charisma, as if he could give a sermon twice as convincing as a preacher without raising his voice an octive.
"There are five beings such as this. Slaneesh, god of ecstacy and emotion. Nurgle, god of resolution and morality. Tzeench, god of hope and ambition. Khorne, god of warriors and bloodshed. And lastly, Malal, forsaken god of absolute chaos and anarchy. Each of these so called 'ruinous powers', with the exception of Malal, together are called 'The Chaos Undivided'."
"While worship in all gods is typical in most servitors, some are dedicated to only one. These Berzerkers serve only one god- Khorne, the blood god. So devoted are they to him, that they have each undertaken lobotomies to make the blood god happy with their loyalty. However, I have no need for mindless killing machines at this moment. Those that have died are having their souls converted to those of the Thousand Suns- another story all together. Normally, I would never dream of disrespecting Lord Khorne as such...however, at this point, I feel it to be...acceptable, given the situation."
He turned back to Terra, removing his hand. He laid Gorechild in it's sheath on the back, seeing no immediate use for it as he continued.
"Ah...but in my brashness, I have not introduced myself. Very well then. I am Eliphas The Inheritor, Champion of the Black Legion. This body, however, belongs to that of Kharn the Betrayer, Champion of the World Eaters. And who do you serve, dare I ask?" [/color]

Well...she heard of the one who used to be a Teen Titan who went by the name of Raven and that girl had some serious butt whooping powers. Besides, she herself believed aliens existed and TA DA there was proof right in front of her that they probably do for sure! Nodding a couple of times initially to his words, she lightly kicked her dangling feet and stared down at him which was a little odd considering if she were to stand on the ground in front of him she'd HAVE TO look up. At least from here she could see everything and not talk obnoxiously loud PLUS get away if he suddenly got all...flippy psychopath axe murderer again. Plus when he got on to explaining these gods, she hadn't heard of anything....not even in passing. But what was with the ruinous power thing? Leaning a bit forward, gripping the edges of her rocky `seat`, she was curious about this whole thing since it sounded like some sorta alien culture.
Kinda felt like being at a tea party where there was one intellectual person you could learn something neat from that had an accent, like this guy who doesn't seem the same as when he tried maiming the hell out of her for the blood god guy. Maybe this Chaos Undivided thing was something she should worry about...who knows what the followers of other stuff would do. It made more sense though since they only served one, their whole bloodshed gore fest from earlier that is since this Khorne god sounded pretty brutal...though she still didn't really agree with it at all. At least this craziness made a bit more sense now. What was so great about the blood god was beyond her aside from being able to summon freaky things but even to her that wasn't worth shedding the blood of innocents. Sitting upright while continuing to lightly kick her legs as they dangled off the edge, she moved her hands upon her knees and let out a little sigh of relief when he said he didn't need mindless killing machines, at least for now. That brought a sense of ease, but she still felt the need to be careful all the same.
Huh...plus according to him the people who died were being converted to...some...Thousand Suns thing. Whatever that was! A chunk of her mind was going `Woooaaaah hold up` cause newly reformed Kharn claimed he would never dream of disrespecting this `Lord Khone` guy but he felt like it was acceptable? Awkward...but she wasn't going to complain! If it meant getting to stay alive and continue her life of following the wind, that reason was perfectly fine with Terra. When he turned back to her and moved his hand away from his chin, she quirked a brow while watching him put the chain axe thing go back in its sheath. Her heart even jumped for a moment since the last time that thing moved was for a slaughter fest of the ages. Another HOLD UP moment occurred in her head, didn't he already introduce himself?!
Apparently not but it was like the messed up jigsaw puzzle was being put back together and making a full picture as he brought up a totally different name then pointed out the body belonged to Kharn...who...conveniently left out `the Betrayer` part. Great...she hoped this Eliphas guy would stick around, mostly because it didn't seem like he was going to rip her limb from limb like SOMEONE he was possessing...but her paranoid nature reminded her that was wishful thinking. Boy oh boy though did he have a weird question for her, that was asking who she served. Seeing how he was being so polite, she felt like it'd be rude to just sit there blinking so she spoke up in her usual casual tone, "Oh, I get it now! ...er...kinda...to be honest I haven't heard of The Chaos Undivided or any of those gods 'till now." Chuckling a bit nervously, wondering if it was a bad thing she hadn't a clue about them until today was a bad thing, she then continued speaking and sounded a little lost, "Uh...I don't serve anyone. I'm just a traveler, going where the wind takes me and trying new foods while I'm at it..."
Getting back to a slightly more casual tone with a good nature to it, kinda like `nice to meet you cause you don't want to kill me!` while pointing to herself with her thumb for the moment of her introduction, "Oh! Right, the name's Terra!" After those words, she couldn't help but grin just a bit finally feeling more at ease which only meant things mellowing down a bit more around them. HOW did someone so...not...crazy actually get stuck in a total nutjob? Such a thought just got blurted out with curiosity, "How'd you get stuck in that crazy Kharn guy? No offense, but it seems like he might of lost his marbles..." Geeze, there was even a bit of eagerness to know how that happened. Well...he seemed at least KINDA nice to not get upset over such a question...right? The blond could only hope!
Oh right...it was about then she realized her goggles were busted...since only now did she actually acknowledge the broken glass slightly obscuring her vision. Bringing her hands up to pinch the edges of her goggles, she carefully pulled them a bit forward before putting them around her neck. Bummer...that was gonna be a chore to get replacement parts for with zombies all over the friggin' place back in the mainland....

"I'd imagine that you wouldn't have. Only three of the Greater Chaos Gods exist at this point in time. Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeench- they all were born during your- or should I say our- middle ages. Slaneesh won't be born until...well, thirty millennium from now. And even at that, it would take a few more for this world to even become aware of their existence. Please, allow me to explain."
"What if I told you, many years after you and everyone that you know are rotted in the ground, that a God-Emperor of Man would appear, and unite the world under a fascist rein known as the 'Imperium of Man'? That worship and constant obedience to him will be law, and those who dare defy those standards are executed on the spot as heretics? Such is the truth of the Grim Darkness of the 42nd Century. However, thousands of years before the 'present' of where I came from, the Emperor's favored son, the great Warmaster Horus, was given insight into the future by Lord Nurgle. I myself am not sure about the circumstances of this- most information on Horus is difficult to gain access too. Reguardless, he saw the future under the Emperor, and saw ruin and hate, moreso then it was before, in it."
"Horus became enlightened that day, and proceeded to plan a... revolution. He showed the great Primarchs, leaders of the various chapters of the Emperor's most coveted warriors, the so-called Space Marines, the same ideas that he was exposed to. Once they grasped the truth, they quickly stood beside him when he attacked this planet with help from the newly-dubbed 'Ruinous powers'. I was among the warriors of the chapters during the 'Horus Heresy' as it was called. I was a young champion of the Word Bearers, the legion most dedicated to the Chaos Gods, during the time of the Heresy. In the battle that followed, Horus was killed in battle with the Emperor, but the Emperor himself was struck into a vegetative state. Now he lays entombed in his golden throne as the Imperium destroys itself in his name."
Inside his head, Eliphas thought of all the different things he could say to get this girl to be the first of many worshipers to the Chaos Gods in this world... In order to complete his mission, he needed a grand order dedicated to them. Still, he wondered of the state of this world now...if it would even warrant a cult to take to corrupt it. But the silence he had just left was long enough. He finished speaking.
"Well, to answer that question, I'd need to explain things that I don't much think that a stranger as you is fit to knowing, Terra. Suffice to say, I am here in Kharns body to bring this world salvation...The Salvation of Chaos."

After sitting through the strangest from of story time in the history of her memories, she couldn't help but wonder if what happened in his world was really going to happen this one. Part of her wanted to sound like an optimist and tell him that things might be different here since he might of come from a parallel dimension. Though she didn't even know how true her own theory was since she wasn't some sort of fortune teller and couldn't tell what would happen in their future. There was also the big possibility that he was right, it was way too beyond a coincidence or accident for her to be saved from what probably would of been certain death. Taking a moment to assume what he said was true about what would happen...it sounded like she could prevent things from going to complete crap for future generations. People, including herself dreamed of the future being something right out of a science fiction show or something spectacular like that! Not really a constant battle ground where people are fighting in the name of an entombed vegetable chilling on a golden throne, that sounded like a pretty crappy future.
Who knew if it would happen sooner, later, or at all here! ....wait....then again there was that huge zombie issue on the mainland....even if she had full control of her powers, she couldn't save an entire state on her one. Feeling her heart sink at that `me against the world, literally` thought with more justification than the judicial system, it was something she was used to, but not to this degree. Running away wouldn't solve this problem, not this time, it'd only keep her alive in this new game of `survival of the fittest`. All in all for that story, she didn't so much as get an answer for her question. Go figure, maybe she was wasting her time? Maybe but even she felt like wasting her time was better than being hacked up for some blood god, that's for sure!
Before she could say anything in regards to her dodged question, it seemed as though he actually wasn't done talking yet. That was...polite of him to actually give her some sort of response and she understood to a degree, made sense since he sounded like some high rank person and she was literally just a civilian. No reason to make a giant fuss over it...especially when they could summon that thing they called a bloodthirster again or even let Kharn go on a rampage which he'd probably start with by hacking her up into a messy pile of muscle tissue and broken bones. Yeah, wanted to avoid that! Oh wait, he may not have giving her the details but apparently he was in there to bring salvation? Ok...last time she checked, the word chaos didn't exactly link up with salvation very well. With her brain formulating a plan, she put her hand on her chin for a moment and tapped the heel of her right foot against the tip of her left and starred off at the ocean wondering if maybe this guy could help with the crowd control of their undead issue out there. It was a long shot, but after that story and bringing up how he was here to bring salvation, why not?
Moving her hand away from her chin and back to her side before her casual tone got a pinch bit serious, "Hold on, you're here to bring this world the salvation of chaos? That sounds like an oxymoron or something, but anyway...that's beyond the point big time. This place that Kharn guy you're in went on a killing spree at was kinda one of the few places that aren't overrun by the zombies we got on the mainland. It's real bad over there...some things don't even look like zombies but more like monsters and they aren't easy to get rid of either if you catch my drift. There's way too many of those things for me to deal with on my own and I haven't had much luck finding survivors who know what they're doing that stick around very long...but I was gonna go back there and let this place remodel itself with lava and try anyway since that Kharn guy you're in would probably make things worse...no offense. If you're really here to bring salvation, I think we can help each other out, but you gotta keep Kharn and his buddies on a pretty short leash or it'll be an even bigger mess to clean up. Normally, she wasn't the one to try to make deals with anyone who killed a bunch of innocents...but what choice did she have at this point?
It'd be pretty stupid not to at least try, seemed like the worst he could say is no. Letting her smile return, she leaned a bit forward and sounded just a bit hopeful as she continued after a short little pause, "Soooo...whaddaya say, Eliphas? Think we got ourselves a deal or something close to it?"

(Short post is short ) "...'Zombies' you say? Interesting...you profess ignorance of Lord Nurgle, yet have the symptoms of one of his many plagues..."
He seemed confused for the moment, as though a scientist just observed a reaction he didn't predict. He grasped his helmet and stroked it in contemplation and analysis of the 'Terra's' words. Still, he decided to drop the issue. Terra was shapeing up to be a potential convert...and that would most certainly be in the best interest of Chaos. And himself.
"Hm...There is wisdom in your words. Perhaps I can crush this plague of yours. Dare I ask, how did it spread? How did it come into being?

When she heard him say zombies, that's when it hit her that he might not have the slightest clue as to what she meant. Maybe she should of said living dead instead? Too late for that now, but apparently, that Lord Nurgle guy had a plague of zombies unless she misheard him. Normally, with that knowledge, she'd point the finger of blame and announce that this Nurgle guy must be at fault and they had to do something to make him stop, but she was there from when it started and it was way before this guy showed up! She even decided that maybe right now wasn't the best time to ask about the plagues of Nurgle. Watching him look like he might of been scratching his helmet, she blinked a couple of times waiting in anticipation for whether or not he'd actually help her out. Sure it was a long shot but hey, if he declined, at least Terra could leave knowing she at least tried!
When he said there was wisdom in her words and even said he might help get rid of their plague, she could barely contain her excitement and even clenched her hands into fists before shaking them up and down as her eyes got a little wide with a huge grin across her lips. Yeah, this was contained considering she didn't let out a squeal or give him a hug as thanks for the potential help. But when he asked how it spread and came into being...that smile turned upside down a bit and felt her hands drop onto her lap. Thinking back to that day at Mockingbird Island, she shrugged a bit and looked down in a bit of disappointment...and began speaking in a tone that was an almost bummed out fact of the matter manner, "Well...the weird thing is it first happened at this place called Mockingbird Island...aaaand I managed to escape before the place was bombed...or...something. I don't know how they got there...I...kinda woke up to a swarm of zombies. Anyway, the mainland seemed fine, but later on...BOOM! Those things started showing up again like a REALLY bad nightmare you can't wake up from. Some places are way bad, but others are kinda ok..."
With a half shrug and a frown, she continued speaking, "That's all I really know so far. Some people say it's cannibalism gone crazy, others think it's some freaky voodoo magic, but I don't know which one's right or if any of em' are right. Whatever it is, it's gotta be stopped...!" With a sense of determination in her voice when it came to the last sentence, she gripped onto her knees and just let her legs hang off the edge of her floating rock seat. It had to be stopped...but she couldn't do it alone. That much was obvious from her recent travels. All she could do now is hope this guy would trust her which was ironic in its own way since she had trust issues herself.
