Physical Appearance: Ok, so let's start off with Professor Membrane's height! He's pretty tall and not short at all considering he's still a taller than Dib and doesn't have to look up at him, at least not yet anyway. Similar to Dib, even though Dib has more hair than him, he has a lightning bolt shaped chunk of black hair as well! Pointy hair seems to be a family thing going on, but continuing on, he's always seen with a pair of black gloves which his sleeves are rolled a bit above exposing some of his arms and matching black boots. Not to mention he's also always wearing a lab coat that covers most of his face and ends a bit beneath his light blue goggles which seem to be technologically enhanced.
Connected to his goggles with a silver trim is a thick wire attached to a purple and black device on his arm, close to the shoulder. Whenever he gets a call, his goggles light up and there's even images for him inside even though on the outside it's just glowy. His lab coat seems to end in slight points at the end, sometimes exposing his legs clad in blackleather pants. His eye color is probably a light brown due to how Dib is his clone and his eyes are also brown, but they're never shown nor exposed. It also seems as though his lab coat is the button up style!
Personality: Professor Membrane is extremely smart and always inventing different things, including Super Toast which is pretty much toast, but SUPER! From inventions with food to technology, chances are Membrane has meddled with it more than once.
He's also a very very busy scientist who is actually a friend of the world but the enemy of Santa who will wish his children a Merry Christmas. In a way, one can say he's very heroic and will help the world when he can but at the same time of being a busybody, he's a very good father and cares for his children very much! Dubbing Gaz as his funny child since he thinks she has a good sense of humor...in some strange way, Dib is the one he calls his insane son. Holding a strong bond with both Gaz and Dib who can both confide in the one they view and call their dad, it's clear to see that even though he's not around very often that he is in fact a big part of their lives. Even though he definitely sees Dib as a bit insane and only wishes that he would give up on the Paranormal as well as rising the dead. "Always with the dead, that boy! So, where are you, hm?! NOT CHASING AFTER BIGFOOT I HOPE!"
Hee hee...anyway, he's not supportive of his longing to be in the field of Paranormal since it's not REAL science. He's also under the impression that Zim is just a foreign kid and Dib's friend which isn't actually true in the slightest, but oddly...as smart as he is, Membrane is totally unaware of Zim being an alien. Probably Dib's jabber is to blame for that one. At work, it's a little strange because he doesn't seem to recognize Dib right away and has the strange tendency to think he's some random fan child of his. That's ok though, he does recognize him at home and at school functions he'll go to for his children! He keeps them in mind to the point where he'll check on them when possible and spend time with them attempting to be a good father up until he gets called away. Then there's the fact that he sets time aside in his busy schedule...erm even if it isn't for an entire day...for their birthdays and a family outing night.
Not to mention he's rather quirky, but still manages to make sense some how. He's one of those `gets along with most` types unless he views the person as insane...and isn't Dib...then it may not go so well. It's a fairly difficult task to get on his bad side, but so far it's Santa Claus who he despises the most in the entire world and is bent on destroying him and complete idiots! Plus he's pretty amusing without even really trying, for example...he'll use a puppet when talking to Dib at times. Despite having a tight bond with his children, he can sympathize with Gaz when she gets irritated with Dib for being annoying but thinks that MAYBE if people take the time to listen to him that it might get him to be less annoying. Chances are, it won't work but at times, he hopes it will. ...and of course he hopes that one day his poor insane son will at least stop being so insane.
Always inviting his children to events, he even holds things off until they show up! Yes, Dib and Gaz DO mean a whole lot to him indeed enough for him to make large crowds wait and wait for more world changing inventions. OH! Professor Membrane seems to like thinking that experimentation could just about solve every problem he can't come up with an immediate answer for.
Powers/Abilities: Definitely got some of these, yes he does!
Genius! - He's got a really high IQ and is very far from being stupid. You don't exactly become `Friend of the World` by being an idiot. Chances are if he doesn't know something, he can figure it out fairly quickly, especially if it's in the science & technology department!
Zappy Hand? - He blasted a door open once before with his hand. It may have been some weird tech glove, but he's done it before!
SCIENCE! - This is definitely something he does exceptionally well in all branches! Namely when it comes to machinery, technological stuff, and biological as well. He WAS the world's scientist buddy back on his universe's Earth after all...
Inventor - Being able to invent lots of useful and maybe even somewhat crazy things, don't question Mr. Lightning Bolt Hair over here on that! He even made an entire arsenal devoted to equipment & weapons for destroying Santa! ...plus made his own lab...createdhischildren....yeah, definitely an inventor!
His...HAIR?! - When Gaz was younger, he lifted her up, put her on his head and had his hair coil around her. Oddly enough, this means he can control his hair...
Psychological Flaws: Uh huh...definitely got those...
Juuuust a little insane - His logic may not be on the same track as everyone else he communicates with, in fact he's also been known to have his own "mad scientist" sort of laugh.
Papa Bear - Sure he won't recognize Dib at work, but his children are both very important to him. He even refused to share an invention that would give the world FREE energy because they got impatient with waiting for his children to show up. That's pretty much how important they are to him. It's possible to sway him with his own children as long as they're going to be safe.
Do I know you? - Dib of all people should know how this one goes. However it's just at work that it happens with Dib because he's got so many fans that try to communicate with him and such. Anyway, if you're not important and you're not Dib (Because at least he recognizes Dib outside of work), then he probably won't remember you for very long since he has far more important things to worry about.
Busy busy! - He's usually working and usually has to get going, so even though he's not as busy now...he'll have moments where he's kind of waiting for a call to ruin time with his children but find that `OH THAT'S RIGHT! ANOTHER DIMENSION! HA HA HA HA HA!`

"Yes...well Gaz is but Dib is a clone of me that didn't exactly turn out as planned. I still treat them both as though they are my children because they are! At least to me and that's what really counts! I'm just glad I could give them a normal childhood. Though I've been busy with work for years since I'm a friend of the world and have my own show, I also make time for them as well!
