The woman on the television was terrified. "The dead have risen from the gra-" She was cut off, as a dead man tore out her throat with his teeth. The camera tipped, the last sounds transmitted were the screams of the camera man and the munching and crunching of flesh and bones. On another screen the Pope was giving a message to the catholics of the world. "We must remain vigilant as the forces of darkness test our place in the light." The Zombies had yet to break into Vatican City, but it would be only a matter of time. Another screen showed the same, panicked media, religious nutjobs calling for the end of days.
Odd had watched the zombies, from their first sighting in California and the hysteric reports from Mockingbird Island to their emergence to the rest of the world. Aden had even managed to bring one that was wandering around in the forest back to the castle for study. It had taken Odd only moments to discover that there was nothing magical about the monster and, after a bit of testing had discovered the virus that caused the dead to rise. He had yet to find any way of curing it, either magical or mundane. After his examination of the living dead, he had sent out beasts to patrol the wilderness around the castle and the village. Who, Odd had wondered, who would have the knowledge and the resources to create a zombie virus. He had suspected various government agencies at first, but it became obvious that they were not responsible. Or if they were, they were incredibly stupid. And so, that left only one individual; Albert Wesker. But Odd needed to be certain. Getting a spy into Albert's ranks would be nearly impossible. Instead he had sent Lilly to use her charms on one of Albert's men, he was high enough in the organization to have decent clearance and was easily swayed by the dark haired temptress and her pheromones. Lilly had reported a large amount of logistical information, but her informant had no knowledge of the virus or anything else of importance. He had almost called Lilly back when she informed him of the android working for Wesker. That was it then, he needed that android if he was to have any sort of knowledge about Weskers virus, but Lilly's position was too valuable to risk and sending Aden or Eva would be a waste. Odd knew he needed something special for this. All that was left was to wait for the clock to strike four AM and he would be ready.
3:59 AM.
Odd stood in the bowels of Castle Frankenstein outside of a large circle, engraved into the stone floor in gold and with various geometric shapes and symbols drawn inside. The clock struck four.
BONG
Odd raised his hands and focused his will and power into the seal on the floor. [glow=red,2,300]"I call upon the powers of Darkness to heed the will of its master and bring me a servant of great power." [/glow]
BONG
Odd drew his dagger and slashed his left wrist. Blood poured freely. [glow=red,2,300]"With this offering of blood I call forth a mighty spirit to serve me." [/glow]
BONG
The circle began to glow as Odds blood moved on its own to trace the sigils inside the circle. A great vortex of air and dark power whirled around a circle in the center of the golden seal. [glow=red,2,300]"Arise!"[/glow]
BONG
As the last toll of the bell sounded, Odd unleashed the energy into the world and called the name of the spirit.

Zombies zombies everywhere and they didn't even have so much as an influence of dark magic! Of course this wasn't the first time something like that happened if she remembered correctly though admittedly, it most certainly got to the demon nurse. Sitting there upon the edge of a roof with a somewhat absent minded smile gracing her cherry glossed lips as though she was `in the zone` next to a pile of syringes and scalpels staring down at the trudging, walking, even running undead. How in the world did humans get so advanced? The old readings back in her hellish home mused that they were not only easy to manipulate, but primitive little creatures who would use magic because they had no other way to get beyond their `pathetic` evolutionary cycle. What a load!
It seemed as though science advanced much more than her ancestors could fathom! Er...though...they were still pretty stupid creatures to allow quite a bit of the population to catch the `rotting flesh disease and munch on brains` disease. Whoever did this was on her list of doom and death though, the humans had such interesting organs and with them being the way they are now, she couldn't possibly gawk at their organs as long as she'd like! Or worse, it was damaged to the point where all she could do is make medical notes and play the `guess how long it took to get that ugly` game she made up not too long ago. Such a game got dull as hell on a slow day though and a new game came to mind: zombie edition darts! It wasn't as fun as welcoming various individuals to her operating table, but it beat looking at motionless organs by far! Plucking up a syringe as she stared down at the chaos and commotion below, that smile developed quite a bit of life displaying her sheer amusement for how many points she gathered.
So far, the weird pink things with big claws were about a hundred points since the moved around quite a bit...speedy zombies were about ninety for obvious reasons....regular zombies were about ten...unless they were old then they had a point boost of fifty! What about the dog zombies? Those were a hefty one hundred and fifty points, pretty quick and difficult to hit because their heads were so small! Humming a chipper melody that seemed ridiculously out of place as the city sang in a chorus of screams, it...sounded like `my boy lollipop` or something very much like it. Carefully aiming for a dog about to strike some hobo, snarling with its teeth exposed and ears almost plastered on the back of its head to show it was pissed off and extremely hungry. "Mmmm stay still for a moment longer~" Cooing those words out to herself, she locked her sights on the angry, disgruntled dog that no longer wanted doggy treats.
Right when she flung the syringe filled with a strange liquid down, that naughty little puppy took a leap forward and got her makeshift dart in its pretty little butt before it injected the carnivorous creature and KA-FRICKEN-BOOM went its butt! Weird how that didn't do too much and only slowed it down a bit when it didn't get a direct head shot. Letting out a soft chuckle before exposing her pearly whites a bit, "My my...I missed, what a shame! Only twenty points for landing on the edge~" Just as she was reaching for a scalpel this time, her body felt abnormally warm...uh oh....this could only mean one thing. Shifting her amber gaze toward those lovely long legs of hers hanging off the edge of the building, that's when she noticed strange wisps wrapping around her body. Closing her eyes, she let out a sigh and shook her head in disappointment before speaking in a sing-song fashion, "There goes my game~"
Hanging her head down, a large, playful grin took over and decided to at least have a little fun with her entrance! With the way she'd show up, it'd look like they summoned a giant ball of wild fluff from the underworld...and how amusing it was to see the look of irritation and disappointment when that happened! Then again, some were pretty disappointed at the sight of her since she didn't look like a typical demon let alone anything useful...just a nurse with wild locks. Fading away from her little spot in the city, that's around the time she appeared smack dab in the middle of a particular vortex in a certain castle before it died down and revealed what looked like a giant puff ball. That's right, she was sitting on the ground keeping her legs close to that busty chest of hers and rest her forehead upon her knees so it really looking like something absolutely useless. Only for a moment though before she let out a chuckle laced with a dark sense of amusement and began standing to her full height of six foot six with a few more inches thanks to her high heeled boots. Bringing her hands clad in ivory tinted gloves, she moved the clearly untamed tendrils to their proper place while flashing off a smile before cooing out the words, "Good morning to you~"
After those words with a twisted, yet somehow positive nature passed her lips, she noticed the summoner's wrist had a lovely slice across it. Ah...a traditional magic user...this guy definitely meant business...whatever it was. Holding out her hand, the medical demoness did that little `gimme` motion by moving her fingers toward herself before flattening them out a couple of times. "Ah, let me see that...hm? I'll patch you right up~" Strangely enough, she sounded very sincere as though the summoned demon woman actually gave a damn. Well, she did care for those she had a contract with until it was done and over with...gotta make sure the terms are met and that wasn't possible with a dead `boss`!
Definitely could be tricky with an injured boss too, humans were such fragile creatures...even though some of them held strengths that stood out like a sore thumb and caught her interest a bit. Not necessarily good interests either...especially when they irritated her!

Odd grinned and giggled a bit when the smoke cleared. A succesful summoning always made him feel good about himself. But as the wind died down his grin fell as, instead of a powerful demon, a puff ball sat in the circle. Odds face twisted and clenched his hands, causing more blood to pour from his wrist.
He was about to do something very violent, when the demon unfolded itself and stood. Odds eyes widened with surprise, the demon he called was in possesion of a human. That was rather rare, normally the summoning would have ripped the demon out of the body, which meant that the demon must be powerful and in nearly total control of the body. His grin returned, not only ad the summoning worked but it had worked better than he had ever expected!
The demon greeted him amacably, though Odd had enough experience to know that it was probably an act. Most demons were furious to be summoned by a human. Then she offered to heal him, and his eyes narrowed. Demons were tricky and, more often than not, interested in getting one over on humans. A demon summoned and bound was required to do the will of the summoner and nothing more. A lot of amature summoners messed up there, a demon would offer to do something, and the foolish summoner would accept, not realizing that what the demon had done was a 'favor' and had nothing to do with whatever control the summoner thought they had. At that point, they owed the demon, most demons would keep doing things without being asked until they had enough leveradge to simply take the pathetic humans soul.
"You will do nothing of the sort, demon. You will however tell me your prefered name." Odd pulled out a needle and some surgical thread. "I can take care of myself." He began to stitch himself up with quick and precise strokes.

With an `Oh alright` sort of sigh, she loosely crossed her arms over her chest and let out a little chuckle of amusement. Smart, frail human...knowing not to trust a demon of any sort. Especially so soon...some humans were what she liked to call `delightfully dumb` considering it was pretty much what one may so easily call `easy pickings`! Smiling sweetly regardless of being told not to patch him up, and that smile could give someone a borderline cavity right there. Giving off a light shrug, she couldn't help but sing song out in a playful fashion, "Suit yourself~" Quirking a brow as she slightly narrowed her eyes, oooo it looks like she was summoned by a fellow physician or at least close enough to one! How fortunate, she was on this ridiculously early morning! It was a treat to work with doctors rather than normal, run of the mill humans.
Those were just so very dull and could hardly maintain her attention span to the point where she'd bring deals to an end rather quickly instead of taking her sweet ol' time. Lightly tilting her head to the side, she couldn't help but be slightly amused with his demands. First of all he didn't want to be healed, secondly he demanded to know her name...the second one was pretty common and the first was something people who knew what they were doing would make sure of. This little contract of sorts would be quite fun in her book, maybe she'd even try to make this guy laugh for cheap amusement. "My my...I have quite a few names~! Hnnnn let's see...." Resting her elbow upon her palm before bringing up her index digit to lightly rest upon her chin looking as though she had a brain and was using it.
That's right, think think think, dwell and ponder, she wondered what name this human was going to get to use with her. Watching him sew up his lovely little wound for a moment...hm...quite the skilled hand. Definitely a human that could take care of himself! Less like babysitting and more like work, that's the way it should be if there were going to be orders barked in her general direction at any point which, from the way he was communicating with her, definitely seemed like a possibility in the near future. Moving her hand away from her chin, she motioned her hand toward nothing in particular wiggling her fingers a little flashing off her pearly whites in her almost seductive smile, "Tanzanite, any variation of that will be fine~! Would you like me to call you anything, hm? Or must I give you some sort of name all on my own?"
Chuckling ever so slightly after those words, she couldn't help but wonder what in the world he had in store for her. Hopefully it wasn't something stupid like gathering a bunch of different animals for something like a real life Cerberus. Oh to hell with it, she might as blurt out something, it was so boring to remain silent like a little marionette waiting to move around and about! "Oh let me guess~! You're Dr. Frankenstein's reincarnate...?" Saying those words in a playful fashion, it was painstakingly obvious she was joking around, but of course the joke was born of her current environment. This place didn't exactly scream `back yard summon`. Plus, this little joke would help her figure out how much humor he had or if it was all business business business...

Heheheh, Odd chuckled, heheheh. Then he threw his head back and laughed full out! Laughing between his words he said. "Not quite demon, not quite, But very close indeed. Though my ancestor would never have had the talent to pull off a summoning like this." The doctor wore a grin, he hadn't laughed so hard in a long time.
A knock sounded at the thick wooden door behind Odd. A low husky voice called out. "Father, is everything OK in there?" Odds eyes brightened ever so slightly, "Yes my boy, come in and meet our new guest." The sound of a heavy metal latch was heard and the doors slowly opened. In the door way stood Aden, wearing tight black pants and no shirt to show off his physique. He was flanked by two beasts, there were two more prowling around in the darkness behind him. He had been in place in case something had gone wrong with the summoning and his father needed help.
As that was no longer necessary he, as well as the two beasts beside him, walked into the room. Odd looked at the demon. "In my summonings I specified a demon who understood biology to some extent, both for my own preference and for the task I have in mind for you. This is my son Aden, one of my three children. The creatures you see with him are Beasts, genetically and magically engineered monsters with great power." He smiled, letting a little pride for his creations show. "What do you think of them, Tanzanite, would you say they are a match for the undead crawling across the world?"

Oh what was this, he COULD laugh! Surprise surprise, he seemed so serious and uptight earlier! Grinning in sheer delight, it seemed like she was a little closer than her joke really meant to be, very interesting indeed. With a soft little chuckle she lightly tilt her head keeping that same ol' smile across her cherry glossed lips like a mad woman as she spoke once more. "My oh my~! I suppose I should feel honored this morning~" Allowing her words to trail off, she couldn't help but hear the loud knock upon the wooden door behind him.
Did they have company? Oh wait, she was the company so maybe it was more like someone checking up on the `guest`? Bringing a thumb up to her chin, she quirked a brow and continued grinning while peering behind the magic using doctor. The voice that sounded was most certainly masculine but...father? Certainly there was an odd feeling lingering about this man clearly indicating he wasn't some novice to the dark arts, however his physical appearance most certainly didn't scream `I HAVE OLD BABIES!`...then again it was as though his appearance could very well be something being maintained via magic for a lack of better explanation. Even she wasn't one hundred percent on it considering this man dabbled in the scientific practices of man and the power of the underworld. Her summoner's eyes seemed to brighten up as he told the `boy` to come on in and greet their guest.
Geeze, from the sound the door made, it sounded like whoever was behind that door could very well be a power house! When the male was revealed, the demoness lightly tapped her thumb against her chin and couldn't help but wonder if he was cold. Poor thing was deprived of a shirt...well at least he was wearing a pair of pants instead of shorts. What a strange thing for her to notice, then again it wasn't like every day men ran around without a shirt on in a castle like this. How sweet though, unless she was mistaken he had a couple of `pets` too! Awww what a happy little family, they were better than the Brady Bunch! Moving her hand away from her chin, she motioned her hand lightly in a wave and smiled like a sugar coated saint who could do no wrong.
Stopping as soon as she heard the summoning doctor speak, she looked over to give him her attention followed by a couple of blinks. Lowering her hands to her sides, she carefully listened to what he had to say and discovered that he requested a demon with some understanding of biology based on his own preference and the task at hand. What a lovely little mix! Seems like he made that toned fellow whose name was Aden which was only one of three children. Huh...he had more...? Did this mean she was going to be a demon baby sitter? Anyway...he seemed to have made those creatures as well which were apparently called `Beasts`, something she jotted down in her mind for later...adding onto her little mental notes was how they were made with a combination of science AND magic...very interesting!
Though...she couldn't help but wonder how that creature thing from that Mockingbird Island visit was...in a way...this little visual before her was different...but so similar. Shaking off that thought about the other odd family scenario she encountered before this, she saw how proud this man was of his creations and he had all rights to be too! They were a fairly impressive bunch...but she had to observe them a little closer to see HOW impressive exactly. Perhaps by getting her fix of slicing something open with her scalpels...? Oh goody! He was asking for her opinion about dealing with the undead infesting the world and he even addressed her by name, not just demon! "Mmmm, quite a hobby you have here~! Let's take a look...shall we?"
With the way those words slipped past her lips, it was almost as though this sort of thing was normal and it most certainly was far from it. Approaching Aden and his creature buddies with a lovely smile now flashing off her pearly whites and stopped a couple of feet in front of them before clasping her hands together. "Ah~! All of you are absolutely darling, if it wasn't inappropriate I'd have a group hug right now!" Cooing out those words with a playful little chuckle, she moved her hands onto her hips and spoke up in a slightly serious, yet calm and supposedly kind tone, "First of all, I wouldn't dare send your dear boy, Aden out there like that if I were you..." Motioning her hand up and fanning it lightly for a moment, she continued on with her little diagnosis, "Unless you let me run some tests and play a game of operation with your children, I can tell you that I have seen those things out there be quite infectious if you catch my drift~" Tugging off a white glove with red trim, she looked down at the beasts and held out her palm for them to investigate before proceeding any further since she knew humanoids and creatures were different in the way they treat a stranger.
"Mmmmm other than the concern of him becoming a variant of those undead things trying to claim the world, his physique is suitable for dealing with the ones I've seen so far. As for these little sweet hearts, they should be just fine if they're alert and quick on their pretty little feet~" Somewhere out there, someone was getting a cavity from her tone toward those Beast things. Probably because she knew how wonderful this little partnership was going to be! Boy would these critters have been useful when she had that issue in the subway with a particular hunter of sorts. Admittedly though, she wanted to hug the Beasts and smother them with affection and spoil them with treats! Her sense of cute was strange to say the very least...first she needed to see if they were alright with her though.

Aden tensed as the demon woman came forward but he quickly relaxed at her sweet tone, that indicated no hostility towards him. The genetically engineered boy couldn't help but smile a bit when she spoke of his physique, even though he couldn't take all the credit for it he was quite proud of it. Aden glanced toward his father when the woman reached to touch the Beasts.
Odd nodded to his son as the demon reached for the Beasts. They probably wouldn't attack without provocation... but just to be safe he dipped his mental energies into their minds and held them at bay.
The demon told Odd much that he already knew. It was Adens preference to wear no shirt and Odd was developing armor for him and his siblings to wear when combating the undead. Though he knew Adens pride would keep him from wearing it very often. And his Beasts had, so far, not become hulking undead, but simply died when infected.
Odd nodded. "Very similar to my own thoughts. Now that I know you are capable perhaps it is time to tell you why I called you here?"

How sweet, the boy seemed a little flattered with that little smile he displayed after her words! At least there was some solace in knowing the children created by her summoner's hand had emotions of some sort. Nothing was more boring than something that merely took orders without any sort of response. Especially when they were organic beings, the champion belt of an emotionless nature should be held by robots if anything at all. Seeing as the beasts didn't try to bite her, that smile curved across her lips grew quite a bit before crouching down a bit to give one of them a hug and pet them as though they were normal domestic pets. Clearly, to her they WERE pretty normal...well that's what she got for coming from hell and making friends with some creature most people would freak out about and have themselves a little seizure. Nuzzling her nose against the beasts' own, she then looked back over to the doctor who seemed to have not only a remark about how their thoughts were similar, but also that maybe now was the time to tell her what's up with the house call.
Curiosity killed the cat, but that particular cat was probably stupid as can be considering felines were rumored to have nine lives. Standing up to her full height, she left one hand resting upon the beasts' head, yes the very one she snuggled a bit not too long ago. Resting her free hand upon her hip before quirking a brow, she couldn't help but sound a little curious...yet...quite chipper all at the same time. "Perhaps that little saying is true...you know...`great minds think alike~`. Oh yes, do tell me why you've called me here! Ah~! Wait, I'd like to guess first! Perhaps you summoned me here to make some sort of monstrous creation and you need my hand at its success?!"
Pausing for a moment after her excited little guess, she then moved her hand away from her hip and looked from left to right...from Aden to the beast she then gave a light, gentle pat on the head then back over to the guy who was like a doctor dabbling away in the dark arts. Chuckling a bit, her tone sounded as though she was off in her own little world while stating the obvious, "Ooooh...right, you can create things of your own accord without my help...hm...I supposed you should probably let the cat out of the bag now..." Slightly shrugging soon after those words, she lightly scratched behind the beasts' ear with a sweet ol' smile while awaiting some sort of response. Hopefully this was going to be good... after all, she DID get dragged away from a game of zombie edition darts! Points for head shots didn't make themselves, that's for sure...
