Holding onto the straps of her backpack containing her annoyinglyheavy battery which would probably make most men cry like little girls if they tried to carry it, the android with quite the blue color scheme was not only doing a test run but also an investigation as well. This was really something out of the norm for her considering most of the time she was at her Designated Superior's side and wandering around the facility to make sure everything was going according to plan, completely behind the scenes rather than out in the open where the unleashed infected were roaming. Thankfully, all the experiments going on at this time with various viral structures went according to plan to such an extent that good ol' Mia felt as though it was alright to go and leave the important details to the fellow who always wore sunglasses regardless of how bright or dim it was. Besides, with her request to check on something she stumbled upon in her scans of infected cities for an array of data, it seemed as though her blond partner entrusted her with a domesticated beta licker that had gone through a few alterations. A little experiment to see if they could make them like loyal guard dogs along with how well they take orders. So far it was going quite well, only a small handful of casualties because it looked like some individuals were going to hurt her, but other than that fine and dandy! Then again, that death was considered a success, even in the notes she took earlier since its orders were to watch over her to such an extent that Mia even gave it a little praise like a human would to a puppy or kitten.
Having anything remotely like a pet was awkward to say the least for her but she was going to adjust eventually and this would be a nice little stepping stone on such a path. Continuing to walk along with the licker following at her side, she even left her choker back with Wesker just in case so that the data wouldn't get lost. Anything could go wrong, that was something she knew all too well and thus prepared for it accordingly, even her Designated Superior understood the importance of backup plans which was very good in her opinion. Namely in this case, it seemed as though some patients lost their minds in the course of events and may not be all that great to deal with if they had a weapon. Letting a soft sigh pass her lips, she turned her head from left to right, good...it seemed like the coast was clear. According to her research, someone was managing to hold themselves quite well to the point where it was impressive, not to mention it seemed as though a surgeon hid their medical records somewhere in the area out of paranoia. Granted, it had nothing to do with the T-Virus, but she saw use in it regardless seeing how to the android was one to look at the entire picture and then some.
However....with the infected and the licker at her side...she finally felt like it was safe to come back to Gotham and it was...nice in a way. While her heels tapped against the ground and the rather frilly coat of hers swayed about slightly with the breeze around the area, she turned a corner and blinked a couple of times like it even mattered for a robot and quickened her pace a bit to get there sooner. Ah but that didn't seem like it would be happening all that soon, that girl with powder blue and white attire stopped into her tracks as her hearing picked up on something near by and it had the walking pattern of a normal human. Releasing the straps of her bag, she leaned against the tall pile of junk closest to her with the licker buddy slinking onto the wall next to her like a gecko. Bringing a hand up to lightly rest it upon the strange creature's back as a way of letting it know to stay still. Last thing she wanted to do was lose such a wonderful experiment to a trigger happy patient! In the situation she had two options, stay quiet and try to get out of here or assess the a potential threat and decide what to do.
It wasn't long before her mind calculated how it may be more foolish to sneak out of here with one of the most unlikely pets. Besides, it could of been the owner...or...owners...so it wouldn't be wise to be taken as a trespasser who may be trying to take more than just a few papers. Er...even though she couldn't actually SEE the individual out there, "Excuse me...is someone else here?" Those words came out sounding really polite without any hint of `I'MMA KILLS YOU AND NOM YOU FOR DINNER!`, in fact it was quite kind as though she was just trying to see who else was there. Which really was her motive. Normally she'd try to tap into the satellites and pinpoint the area, but that wasn't a very good idea in her opinion considering being split into the digital world was a bad idea if this really was a threat. Plus, with the way she looked having two white rose clips, one on each side of her head and had attire VERY far from being someone who had weapons of any sort let alone look like someone who knew how to handle them.
Appearance-wise...more like a civilian who managed to some how avoid any contact with zombies or thugs seeing how clean she actually was. Besides, with those heels she was wearing that laced up a bit over her ankle and finished into a bow couldn't possibly conceal any sort of knife or gun. Then there were her jean shorts which looked like the most they could do was hide a box cutter at worst...plus that white sleeveless shirt with lace and frills rimmed by a sapphire blue hue didn't exactly scream `ready for combat`. What about that frilly, baby blue coat thing she was wearing tied together with a bow a couple inches below her bust? Well it was more for fashion, obviously considering how it was sheer enough to see if there was a gun up its sleeve. Definitely didn't look as though it was a girly Rambo...MAYBE if she had a bandanna...so anyone judging based on appearance probably wouldn't jump to the worst case scenario. Lightly petting the licker's back as though to keep it calm so it wouldn't go out and investigate but stay at her side since in a way, she needed it right there with her just in case.

Clang Clang Clang.
Jax smiled slightly as his feet led him through the junkyard, walking across a car hood lying on the ground he could feel the metal of it pulsing with the vibrations, he regarded the rusting cars, the shattered fridges, the crushed cans and the deterius of civilization with obvious pleasure. To him it was a playground, the site of a scavenger hunt, a toy store, and a stronghold all rolled into one. It was here he was at his strongest, his happiest, and most dangerous. He was in a world of possibilities just waiting to be taken advantage of. He walked around an engine block ripped from it's morings, underneath a dog once reanimated a week ago succumbs to the inevitable of nature... decay. He gazes at what was once a zombie hanging from a wall of cars by a piece of pipe... it wasn't a pretty decoration but it did give the message of who the yard belong to now. That and word of mouth did nicely.
If he was anyone else the sheer visceral joy of the yard would drive him to spin in place, sing, and rejoice as small birds landed on him singing along with the number and watching as he began to dance... as it was the crows cawed from above watching him carefully hoping another body to feast upon was in the near future. He continued his hunt not quite knowing what he was looking for, a carberator for sure... but with is bike here as well as the trailer he figured he might pick up a few things. He briefly wondered if it was possible that some of Gotham's more... interesting inhabitants had any parts of their more...interesting inventions here rusting away. He had seen pictures of some of the things villains had fielded against the Bat in he past and some of them were... impressive.
Looking at the cars and seeing nothing so far that screamed for his attention he pulled out a cigarette and lighting it allowed the smoke to rise as he took a deep puff. It was not his usual brand, he had picked it off a re dead man. They smelled of tobacco and... sea salt strangely but he had smoked weirder... nothing flat out illegal but he remembed trying strawberry mango mint flavored cigarettes once... had been an odd Tuesday. He never did figure out who that man in that blue phone booth had been.
He pondered a length of exhaust pipe, it seemed the right size but...
"Excuse me...is someone else here?"
Jax spun in place and narrowed his eyes in the rough direction of where the voice came from. He reached slowly into a pocket and pulled out his home made pistols, each lovingly assembled from parts manufactored by his own hands... sure if he was somewhere else he might have responded immediately, maybe run to see who it was, see if she needed help... but first of all this was Gotham where the unwary died, secondly it was in one of roughest parts of town BEFORE the dead started walking, and finally once the dead walked bets were off. He wasn't about to have his face ripped off by a girl just because she was female and as some would think "harmless" He had met some of the females of Gotham... some were so far from harmless they could only see it via telescope.
He tilted his head at the direction of the voice and spoke trying for a slight edge of friendliness but failing quite badly.
"Yeah someone is here, who the @*#@ wants ta know and why are ya in my junkyard?"

All the rustling and noise was almost unsettling to the android on a little mini mission. It wasn't some of the bones, some still with flesh here and there, one literally just hanging around like a warning...more like the fact that for all she knew whoever was here may be rather unsavory and not listen to reason. When the sound of a male's voice hit the air and didn't exactly sound friendly either. Frowning a bit hoping she wouldn't have to attempt using force since her combat capabilities were about as useful as her coat in winter....not very. Their manners were also out of check but still there in a strange way from what she could tell. The percentage of the individual being one to listen rather than shoot first and talk later went up in her mind while taking care to hear him out to the best of her ability. Well...him wanting to know who she was and why she was there happened to be logically founded in her opinion.
Certainly she couldn't give him her real name, just an alias should suffice since that wouldn't be a bad idea. Rose would probably be a good thing to call herself for now since as far as she was aware, in the unlikely event the plane crashes, people sitting in exit rows will have to assist everyone else he were to try and seek her out, it wouldn't link back to her past here which is the last thing she needed. Then there was how much information to give out about why she was here. It didn't hurt to explain why she was here since the text itself had absolutely nothing to do with what was going on around them. However, this surgeon's notes held importance to her due to how they may help further possibilities and things of that nature. "You may call me Rose and I'm terribly sorry for trespassing in your junk yard, I do hope you will forgive me....I came here looking for lost documents supposedly hidden in your junk yard, medical notes to be precise." Maintaining her nice tone, she was quite quick to respond while lightly patting the licker a couple of times so it knew to stay put.
Hm...the voice came from around the corner and just in case he was armed, which wouldn't surprise her, she had to be careful. Though a gunshot wouldn't be lethal, it would be troublesome to deal with. Slowly, she stepped around the corner and brought her hands up much like someone who was being held at gunpoint because what do you know, irony struck once more due to how he actually had a pistol in his hand! The craftsmanship was impressively unique from what her sight could gather...however it wasn't anything she'd seen before while researching various forms of firearms available on the market. "I have a companion here with me...but it gets startled by guns, so if it isn't too much trouble, could you please put the pistol away? I truly don't want any trouble..." Keeping her tone calm so that the licker obediently staying on the wall of junk wouldn't try to be like a stealthy ninja of doom.
Wait...perhaps he could even help her find what she was looking for? Well, first she had to see if he was going to be hostile or not. Rudeness was something that could be overlooked, but feeling like a duck in that hunting game most certainly couldn't get shrugged off with ease. Especially when she was making sure to not come off as an obvious threat...then again she couldn't blame him if he was the paranoid sort regardless of her composure and appearance. Certainly this was a dangerous part of town, but she had an escort-like `pet` and could electrocute someone on contact if worse came to worseor just get all kamikaze suicide android bomber. Sure she couldn't go all kung-fu fighting action and pummel someone to a pulp, but defense itself wasn't foreign to her considering she's had to restrain some of Gotham's worst when they got out of hand back at Arkham.

Jax blinked a bit at the girl. His mind processing several facts of the woman at once. First of all she was fairly attractive, he would go so far as say cute. Seemingly way too wholesome looking despite the blue hair to be in this city, this part of the city at this point and time. Her outfit was too clean, too bloodless, to unmarked by groping undead hands. She seemed as out of place as a line dancer at a ACDC concert. Innocent, clean, wholesome looking... all this turned on blinking DANGER signs in Jax's head. He processed the line about the documents and the companion. Depending on the companion this all might make sense. Honestly he would rather not put the gun away but... he needed to know what was going on in his territory so he nodded slowly and holstered the gun at his hip.
"Ya know this is pretty dangerous territory for just a couple of people. Maybe I should help ya look for these documents. I know this placefairly well ya know. Oh and by the way, just letting the two of ya know. Ya try anything funny I will crash ya head like a grape with an engine block."
Jax pointed his chin spike at the crushed dog.
"My territory, my rules. No undead allowed, no pets without leases, and no country music. So let's see ya companion"

This guy seemed like someone formidable, however an average human patient all the same...er...save for the green mohawk and piercings. Later when this junk yard owner didn't seem so on edge, she'd have to inquire as to how in the world he kept it like that. There were various methods, of course, but if he'd been in a lot of combat situations like it was starting to seem...then his answer would be useful! After a moment, she watched him nod slowly in response to her request and put the gun away. Phew! What a relief, she wasn't really looking to start a gun fight or anything along those lines. Letting out a soft sigh of relief while lowering her hands at a steady pace before listening to what he had to say, she wasn't about to muck up and miss something crucial in making it out of here in one piece with the documents. Ah, he had acknowledged that this area wasn't exactly safe, far from it...probably a local for quite some time with the way he said it and even pointed out it was too dangerous for just a couple of people.
Not to mention she was actually a bit relieved at the potential offer of help rather than jumping right to a threat, especially if he knew this place as well as he claimed! At least this trip was turning out better than she thought! Oh wait...he said if they tried anything funny he'd crash their heads like a grape...with..an..engine block...? Ok...this guy was definitely dangerous.......she should really take notes about this! First things first, she nodded a couple times in agreement but then noticed he was pointing his chin spike at something. What could it possibly be? The android who looked like her hair could be best friends with a pack of high lighters glanced over to where it was pointed to.
Er...that wasn't a lovely sight, however it was...assuring to see such a threat wasn't unfounded and confirmed he was honest. Dealing with this cautiously was her best bet for sure! Frowning a bit, she figured it was an experiment rather than a dog unscathed by the virus...there were plenty more anyway. Continuing to listen to him, it seemed like he had some rules for his territory. Understandable...but when he started listing them off the `no undead` part might get her in trouble...however the no pets without leashes was going to be her scape goat...though the last request was strange and almost out of place. No country music? Not that she cared for it, but it was a rule she hadn't heard of anyone using before let alone enforce.
"Alright...that sounds reasonable. I must admit, it was actually a challenge to get here even through the safest routes, however I'm safe thanks to my companion...well...I suppose more like a pet that I need to get on a leash again." Unzipping her bag before removing a black collar and leash with one hand and zipped the bag closed once more. Smiling a bit, she continued to speak while clipping the leash onto the collar. Oddly enough, the black fabric was merely to conceal the metal chains within. "Your help would be greatly appreciated, I would hate to intrude for long. Please excuse me for a moment."
After she finished speaking, that's when the android walked over to where she was hiding before only to be greeted by the fleshy creature-like guardian of hers while carefully getting its collar with the leash attached upon its neck. Petting its back with as much care as an advanced AI such as herself could possibly comprehend, she gave it a gentle tug to have it follow her as she walked back over to the junk yard's owner while tying the leash around her wrist. The way it moved after her was almost like a big freaking clawed lizard, oddly enough it was really starting to grow on her like a real pet but it was odd getting used to it all the same. "Is this alright? He's well behaved and shouldn't do anything without my instruction or feeling threatened in any way. If it wasn't for him I'd probably be nothing more than a pile of scrap in some alley way." Those words seemed quite thankful before motioning to her wrist while that slight smile remained across her lips with a slight blue tint to them before continuing to speak, "I can assure you this is strong enough to hold him from rushing away unexpectedly."
Once this was settled and out of the way, she'd at least it'd determine whether or not she was on his bad or good side which was quite crucial. Namely if Mia wanted to report back to her Designated Superior with her body shell in tact and not being hooked up to a toaster, stuck to a computer, or something like that.

Jax stood there for a while... trying to make sense of the scene in front of him. Trying to come to terms with the utter impossibilities piled atop each other like a heap of insanity. Several portions of his brain called their thoughts out screaming within him. 'KILL THEM ALL AND LET GOD SORT THEM OUT' seemed popular. 'RUN!' Was met with a cold reception. 'Ogh ugh pretty girl, kill monster make babies with girl ugh!' was out right ignored as unlikely at this point in time. After a moment of hesitation Jax narrowed his eyes as he glared at the girl and then pointed at what he had come to call 'gianakrogs' short for giant naked frogs."
"If that thing takes a @&*$ on my stuff we are gonna have problems understand!"
A major problem solved Jax took another drag on his cigarette and figured that the fastest way to get the girl and her pet monsteriousty out of his territory the did not involve killing them both and burying the bodies was to help her out as he had mentioned. This was his territory and he wanted to know what these notes were all about, what this girl was about, and why she had a pet gianakrog hanging around her like a puppy on 'roids. He slipped a hand into a pocket and pulled out a ear bud and plugged it firmly into his ear, at a time like this he needed some therapy. He reached his other hand into an opposite pocket and music blared into his ear screaming of rage and conquest. It was loud enough that it was audiable to those standing near enough to him. It was not a song of happy ponies or peace to others.
"Alrighty if we are gonna find these documents I need tah know. Are we talking actual paper? A flash drive? A cd? A carved stone tablet that glows ominiously on the night of a full moon and speaks of horrors that will bring ya tah glory if ya but partake of them in the name of the tablet's patron..."
He looked at Rose and blinked looking a bit uneasy briefly.
"It was an odd day... by the way if it was the tablet I took a sledge hammer to it and throw the pieces in the harbor. It was creeping me out."

Looking a little unpleasantly surprised at the glare, it was completely expected seeing how any and all infected were probably causing quite a bit of wear and tare both mentally and physically. When all of this was over, they'd be thankful...or so she'd hope. However, she was caught just a bit off guard with what he claimed would be a problem. Part of her could see the chances of having her dear...unusual pet shot up and causing a completely unwanted fight to ensue. "Understood..." Saying that word in a slightly nervous fashion while trying to remain calm though her smile faded to suit her tone...it really had been a while since she had to deal with a clearly unstable individual. Perhaps inquiring about his mohawk would be a really bad idea at this point. Looking down toward her carnivorous companion for a moment wondering if there would be any issues in the potty break department...nope...! Mia figured that wasn't going to be a problem by far!
Shifting her gaze back toward him, watching for the moment he had a cigarette break. However, she looked a little curious when he reached into his pocket and pulled out an ear bud...was he going to start listening to music at a time like this? Intriguing! From what her hearing could pick up, it didn't sound like `link your arms with a buddy and prance through a field of flowers with unicorns who are so petite and kind they fart rainbows`sort of melodies either. On reflex, she quickly unzipped her bag and pulled out a metal clip board with a pen attached to a long chain along with a bunch of paper beneath the clip before closing up her bag again. Looking toward him while he asked about the type of documents she was looking for, her hand grasped onto the pen and began moving it upon the paper taking notes and going into scientific detail about him, the environment, and of course the way he selected the music he did. So many possibilities as to why he started listening to music began listing off in her head but which one was most likely? Music was something many used in a therapeutic...perhaps this was the case?
Maybe it was within his music preference to listen to something that literally screamed rage and conquest. More and more possibilities went off in her mind but she didn't jot them down, more along the lines writing on and on about the music and the different notes it contained. Then she reasoned that with the cigarette and how it was commonly used to help people calm down then mixed it with his choice of music that the percentage of him being in a negative mental state which was being maintained by those two things so he wouldn't lose his temper were pretty high up there. Though before she could get around to answering him about what sort of documents she was looking for, his words about a stone carved tablet was like getting mentally smacked by a curve ball. How unusual, that was something familiar to her...then again it was rare that she looked into such things. Certainly she knew quite a bit about creatures of myth that roamed this world but not so much the magical stuff since it wasn't crucial to her research. Quirking a brow as she took a small break from writing to flip the paper over and write on the next one, it seemed that whatever that peculiar stone that sounded far from normal with the way he described it was destroyed at his hand for creeping him out and the remains went into the harbor.
....was that even good for the ocean? Something that glowed on a full moon and spoke of horrors couldn't possibly benefit the living organisms in the sea. Giving her a moment of pause in her writing, his tone didn't seem to indicate that it was a joke. So far he was honest and there were very strange, sometimes unexplainable things that happened thus leaving her analysis of him as not insane thus far, just a bit on edge is all. It actually sounded like a normal reaction to bash something THAT out of the norm with the heaviest thing they could find. "They are paper documents, he was...very old fashioned in that sense..." Pausing her words for a moment which seemed a little more calm and not as nervous, when she continued her words, they sounded a little more confused, "...as for this tablet, perhaps it's best you smashed it and threw it into the harbor. Hopefully we won't see some strange magic creatures of the sea any time soon."
The last portion of her words were laced in a lighthearted tone as though she was joking a bit about fish that would probably run around in wizard robes or something strange like that if it were to happen. Her tone seemed slightly more hopeful this time around though with her inquiry, "Assuming you didn't do that to a bunch of papers as well, where do you suggest that we begin our search?" Standing here dwelling about something that sounded straight out of a story book was a complete waste of time in the android's silent opinion, so it was best to prompt the search sooner rather than later.

Jax watched with interest as the woman took out... a clipboard... and she began to write. Her pencil blurred upon the paper as she listened to him writing who knows what about who knows what. It seemed to be directed at him from how his ears were burning but that could just be from a chemical interaction with his hair gel. He didn't know didn't care. If she wanted to write about him fine. It didn't matter anymore. With a zombie based end of the world and worse going on he doubted any government agency would have enough time to come 'talk' to him about his powers anyways so he would let her write if it made her happy.
He ignored the comment about magic fish as he pondered what she wanted, paper. A large amount of it probably. Despite his appearance Jax was not just a dumb thug, he had a GED and was good at solving problems. True his problem solving methods tended towards sudden bursts of violence a lot of times but that was only because it was ever so very effective. Considering how good condition he was in he could only imagine this meant his tactics were still in vogue. He put his brain into gear edged onwards by the music and the reassuring smell of tobacco and rusting metal, the scent of the rotting bodies and the flesh of the gianakrog were a bit distracting but he was in his territory, that means they were in his safety zone so he was fine with that. He figured he could always use the old fashioned problem solving later.
"He likes paper huh... not very durable. Paper is very stainible, very fragile. Now I don't know this guy but unless he was a complete @&*@ing moron he would have known this and known not to just shove it in a trunk of a car. One yardquake and a shifting car would split that mother@&(@er open like an egg. Rain would come and... well you would have a head start on recycling it. So let's presume he is not a complete @&*(hole and figured this all out ahead of time."
Jax reached up and tapped the chains running to his lips as he pondered the problem. The yard was fairly good sized so there were plenty of hiding places in vechicles, or even under the ground... but he would want it to remain accessable... He said as much.
"He would want something waterproof, fireproof, something out of the way and yet reachable... Something that wouldn't change much in the yard. A landmark..."
Still tapping the chain Jax looked at the skyline of the yard frowning and then a notion came to him. "There are two places in this yard that changed the least, one was the office where the 'work' got done, the other was the area of the crane and the crusher where the work got done. The office would have people around it often... but the crusher would be left alone at night. Union rules. Why don't we check the area around the crusher and crane. Might be buried over there. Would have to be buried. Cars near it would long since been flattened."

The licker couldn't help but look around the place even though it could hardly see much of anything considering its vision was pretty crappy aside from close up or with the light on. Taking note of the leash moving around a bit, she looked over to it seeing if it was trying to get away but once she saw that it wasn't, Mia went right back to giving him her attention. Apparently, he was more logical than his temper and appearance let on, though she knew better than to judge what was on the outside as a primary in her line of work. Well...attire and fashion-wise of course, but when it came to body language and she was actually analyzing someone...that was a different story since it had the tendency to bring things into full circle with various patients. At least there was a great deal of wisdom in his words regardless of how he..so...eloquently put it that paper was fragile and the guy would have to be a complete idiot to put it in the trunk of a car. As he said, if the car were to crash and crack then came a storm...good bye documents. Thankfully, the surgeon who wrote the documents she was after was smart...or at least she hoped smart enough to hide it somewhere he could come back to rather than some random vehicle.
The note frenzy commenced once more as she jotted down about how he was a patient far from being stupid and how his form of logic exceeded his appearance of what some may describe as a typical thug. Considering most thugs actually wouldn't help anyone but themselves and their gang members, if any, out most of the time. It may even be wise to keep tabs on him somehow and see how much useful data he could provide for her branches of research...not a bad thought process at all. As that green haired man mentioned, chances were if he thought everything through to that extent it would be in something keeping it safe from conditions which could cause it to deteriorate and somewhere reachable. Not really knowing the junk yard that well for painstakingly obvious reasons, this particular android didn't know where to even begin in landmarks. First thought in response to that was simply some sort of office or building. Though, as she watched him look to the skyline still tapping away at the chain, she couldn't help but wonder how much pain this guy could probably endure due to the amount of piercings he had.
Potentially someone formidable that could get in the way of work she would help her Designated Superior with...that was something she'd concern herself with later, of course! When he continued speaking, it sounded as though she was on the right thought process with an office, buuuut as he mentioned...lots of people would of been around there. It would be worth checking anyway though...but then he brought up the crusher and crane which was apparently left alone at night due to union rules. His suggestion seemed to reside with the crusher rather than the offices first which again, made sense...plus she wasn't about to argue with someone who could probably kill off her `pet`..at least not without a good enough reason. Pausing in her writing for a moment before glancing it over and turning the page before turning her attention to him once more before speaking once more, "Well, that does make quite a bit of sense about where he'd store it unless he is more of an idiot than I anticipated." Frowning a bit as she spoke those words, it would of been really disappointing to completely waste her time that she could be spending with her Designated Superior to work on more viral structures. With a slight shrug, she let out a soft sigh and looked off to the side for a moment before shaking her head...a big disappointment it would be indeed.
Looking back to him, she continued writing while speaking her next set of words, "I suppose the crusher would be worth looking into first when you put it that way, my pet and I can handle the digging once we get there. Would you please lead the way?" Once he started walking, the android and her companion licker with a decapitating tongue of doom would follow along while she wrote and wrote along the way. At least there was something to write about, for some reason when she just didn't keep herself busy enough it was just...strange to put it simply, namely when it came to note taking.

Jax looked over his shoulder and gave the two a flat look as he walked over to a oil barrel and pulled a shovel from it, it seemed to be one of a multiple of tools stashed in the container. In fact it was one of many such stashes in the yard. He saw no point in not being ready or having a implement of sudden violence close at hand... also tools. They could be used as tools, such as the device in his hand could be used for... Jax stopped the low glare to look at the object in his hand and then back again... digging. It was a shovel after all.
"I think ya will find my arms are fully operational."
Jax began to whistle along with the song blasting into his ear canal as he swaggered towards the crusher. He loved the crusher. It was honestly one of his favorite part of the yard, a multiple ton machine made for the simple purpose of crushing other smaller machines into the flattest possible shape. It had been a thing of beauty to watch, to hear, to feel it's low growl radiate through the yard. It had been some of the best times of his life, sneaking into the yard... though it had turned out old Charlie who ran the machine noticed him. But he didn't mind. In fact he had even taught a snot nosed teen to run the crane, the crusher, the whole nine yards. They were good times. Sadly this part of the city didn't have power, they were constantly fighting to keep the power going at the plants... literally. It was only a matter of time before it all went and the city went dark. But Jax would survive. He had no doubts, no hesitation about that. He was Jax Gardener after all, lord high executioner of the 99 kings... he paused briefly to curse his friend for introducing him to Gilbert and Sulivan... speaking of introducing... as Jax continued his guided tour he looked over his shoulder, this time the gaze was alot softer.
"By the way, the name's Jax, Jax Gardener. Call me Jax."
His gaze briefly darkened.
"I mean it. No Mr. Gardener, No 'sir', no Gardener-san or sensai whatever the right grammer is. Just call me Jax."
That solved he resumed his happy stomp through the yard, taking time to point out things of interest to his note taking friend. He pointed out the rainbow painted van that had been used by the grisly Color Killer in his rampage through the state. He showed with pride the rusted out Harley Davidson motorcycle he had yoinked a exhaust pipe from for his pride and joy, he even paused to show her the burial site of Ol Charlie, Jax had found him in the yard, rather then be eaten or lose the yard... he had chosen to end it there. A .45 magnum through the brain pan. Jax had described it as 'a good death' though many would dispute it. Jax had been the one who had buried him, even bringing Charlies car into the yard to park over his grave as a memorial. This tour was punctuated by his unique take on speaking which included words that were undoubtedly heard often in the yard but not that many so close together.
Finally their journey took them to the center of the yard where the crusher and crane were parked and ready, all they needed was power and they could start again on their mission. It was a thing of beauty to Jax but he doubted many would think the same way. He was curious though so...
"What ya think Miss?"

Blinking a couple of times when she and her licker buddy got a flat look from the guy who's favorite color just might be green, both she and the monstrosity next to her exchanged glances while following along. What was that all about? Perhaps it was out of place to offer doing work for herself? It'd be rude to just expect him to do all the work! Ceasing her note taking for now, she unzipped her bag and put her clip board back before zipping it back up and grasping onto one of the spare shovels. Normally, she'd go for a pick axe, but a shovel was much more delicate and wouldn't do as much damage in the event she somehow stumbled across the documents with it. Leaning the shovel against her shoulder, as thankful as she was for his little fact about how his arms are fully functional...it was strange actually getting help from someone who hardly knew her.
Especially in the manual labor department! While she and the fleshy lizardy naked mole rat looking thing with a lethal tongue of doom, it seemed like he was whistling along to what ever he was listening to. Strange how such violent music could make patients happy and even calm...perhaps it was soothing to have something blaring in their ears to tune things out and calm the nerves...it seemed to be the case with this man she was following. Wondering if maybe she should try to teach the experiment at her side how to fetch, much like dogs, it may be a useful trick. Most certainly something amusing for some of the operatives and scientists back at the facility...perhaps even something to impress her Designated Superior? The last part she wasn't completely sure about but from what records stated it would be something new to add if she were successful on such a strange endeavor among other tricks! Taking notice of the guide looking over his shoulder, she had this look on her face that seemed like she was quietly saying `What is it?` with a little hint of confusion and curiosity.
He didn't actually seem on edge like before from what she could tell, probably from listening to his choice of music. So this junk yard owner's name was Jax Gardener and requested that she called him Jax. Was it really proper for her to act so familiar? When his gaze darkened for a moment, apparently that confirmed it as `Yes Mia, it's best if you just call him Jax as he requested!`. More so when he began telling her he meant it and began listing the variations of his name as an example even the whole... `sensai` thing...wasn't that sensei? Certainly she wasn't about to correct him, not just because he didn't care about the grammar but she didn't want to put him in a bad...WORSE mood. Nodding a bit to show she understood, step after step continuing on whatever path he had laid out for her...it seemed like he had a few sights to point out here and there along the way.
As soon as she was able to put this gardening tool down trees were going to die and cry for mercy at her hand she just had to write about all of this! A rainbow painted van was something she had only seen while browsing the digital world and only now got to see one `in person`, next was a Harely Davidson that was missing an exhaust pipe which he seemed a tad bit prideful about, then finally their journey came to a pause when they approached a burial sight. It was strange...stopping in her tracks to look at where a patient was buried. Lowering her head a bit, trying to react how a normal patient might in the midst of where someone was `resting in peace`before reaching up to one of her clips with her spare hand. From what she could recall, it was customary to leave flowers for the deceased...was such a thing appropriate for someo-no...something like her to do? The only concept of life and death she had was the living could be experimented on and tested, the dead were very limited. Yet, it seemed like a respectful thing to do, someone buried in this place must of been important to the junk yard owner, Jax, who was kind enough to guide her around. It wasn't possible to track her down with a single clip, so in that moment of pause she carefully took out one of the white rose hair decorations on the side of her head and crouched down to place it upon the car left as a memorial before following after Jax once again.
However when their journey came to an end at the center of the junk yard, her neon blue optics stared up at the machines and couldn't help but take note of their craftsman ship. From her observations, there was a strong chance that they would still work, yet another couple of things she had only seen digitally rather than in the real world. No big surprise for those who knew she was kept indoors and not roam the streets for very long. Even soon after she got out of Arkham, it was only a short amount of time that the android had to be in a normal social environment before going into another facility to exist only behind the scenes, carefully pulling strings which would reach the outside world. Almost in awe of the machines and wondering what it would be like to see them work...but such a thing was probably impossible considering these were far from quiet machines. So such a request was out of the question...Mia was almost certain that if such loud pieces of machinery were turned on they'd alert the infected and have a big problem. "I didn't expect a junk yard would have so many interesting things...thank you for the tour, Jax."
Smiling after those pleasantly spoken words, she readied her shovel and tried to figure out where to begin but not being familiar with a junk yard most certainly didn't help. "Where do you suggest my pet and I start digging? I wouldn't want either of us to ruin anything in your territory..." Waiting for further instructions, she contemplated on coming back here one day when it made sense for those machines to run. Then again, that may not be a good idea, she was already here uninvited...yeah...scratch that...another uninvited visit was an awful idea. Admittedly though, this was quite the interesting environment and had plenty of resources. It'd be an interesting subject to research later and see if anything could be of use to either herself or her Designated Superior. In a way, she doubted that but still, it'd be something to keep her occupied when she had time to herself again!

Jax took one last deep puff on his cigarette and spat it out grinding it beneath one of his massive boots. He looked over the area critically, there was still alot of area to go through, he needed more information more data. He knew not a blasted thing about what he was looking for besides the fact it was paper. That led to a few leads, a little narrowed down... two possible general locations rather then a whole junkyard but that still just wasn't good enough. He had to think this through, consider more angles... plus he was thirsty.
He took a walk to the crane and stepping on the treads opened the cab door. He ignored the dried blood stain on the windows and seats as well as the bullet hole in the back window as he pulled out a bottle from the inner cab door pocket. He held it up to the light and nodded satisfied seeing it was half full. It wasn't a fancy drink bottle, simple plain curved glass with a label/warning label on it. He figured it would be there. Charlie always liked a small hit while working and didn't mind slipping a fellow fan of the bones of the earth a sip. Jax figured the old man wouldn't mind him drinking to him.
Without fanfare Jax ripped the cork out of the bottle and took a wiff just to make sure it wasn't second hand... and smiling took a slug letting it burn down the back of his threat. He shook his head letting the green spikes wave like tiny antenna for a moment and then put the bottle on the track of the crane after point his thumb at it.
"Have a sip if ya want, might do ya some good know it did me."
Jax felt a bit energized to tell the truth, this was the first problem he had to face in a while that wasn't 'which blunt heavy or pointed or sharp object do I need to use to keep this mean mother @&*@er from eating my face?'. This was a puzzle, a mystery, and like any good mystery he needed clues.
"Okay now that my tongue isn't dry enough to sandpaper I need more info on ya lord and mastahs papers. I don't know whats on them, don't rightly care if ya must know the truth but I need to know how much of it there is? I mean will it fit in a object smaller then a bread box or are we looking for a buried shipping crate? Did he give ya any clues? any notions? A homing device I suppose it out after being buried so long but did he give ya any clues?"

Lightly tightening her grip on the shovel, all she really wanted to do was find that man's documents and get back to her Designated Superior....or at least report back somehow. It was too risky to contact him directly and she'd never dare to put him at risk. After all, he helped her a great deal and made it so she could create cures, granted it wast the normal sort of cure. More like fixing various viral structures to the best of her ability. Maintaining her focus on the man who called himself Jax who finished up his cigarette before tossing it to the ground and smothering it into the ground with his foot then looking around once it was fully extinguished. Perhaps he wasn't sure where to start either? But it wouldn't be proper to just start taking the shovel to soil without permission...so just waiting for him to figure out where to start is all she could do.
The licker on a leash and collar actually began to lightly scratch its neck lightly with the tip of its clawed foot waiting for its robotic owner to give some sort of command. In fact, it sort of wanted a snack...maybe a limb of some sort would be be good. Oh but it had to wait too since if it was a `good boy`, the blue haired android was going to spoil him with treats and goodies! Shifting her attention over to the pink, fleshy creature at her side, she set the shovel down in front of her and crouched down next to it, lightly scratching the other side of its neck with a small smile. How curious it was, this thing most would call a freak of nature was...pleasant...to treat like a dog or cat. It almost mad her feel like she was no different than the race struggling to accept the viral structures unleashed on them. It wasn't so bad, getting to treat an experiment like this...maybe even give it a name of some sort?
About to have her thought process go on a frenzy to discover a suitable selection of names, but then she saw that he was...going over to the crane...? Getting a closer look, her smile faded causing her composure to be a little more stoic....old blood and a bullet hole through the back window's glass. Was that..-? Yet another thought process was interrupted by getting interested in what he was looking for in there. It couldn't possibly be the documents she was looking for, especially with the way he didn't go toward a bigger part of the cab to search for something. Oh well, the percentage of it being in there was very low anyway.
Seemed like all he was doing is getting a drink of booze to put it lightly, placing an arm around her considerably gross but deadly licker pal while waiting for the green haired man with a lot of piercings to finish his little drink break. Tilting her head slightly to the side when he shook his head, she couldn't help but envision him as a bug for a moment due to how his hair move. Which of course prompted her to consider making a suggestion of more viral structures influenced by insects to her Designated Superior later. Narrowing her eyes ever so slightly as though deep in thought, she then blinked a couple of times when Mr. `I like angry music` offered to share his drink. The note taking android knew it would be a BAD idea to take so much as a sip of booze considering her stomach was an incinerator. Not like it was common knowledge, but still she had to be careful since chances were...a bit of fire coming out of her mouth might provoke some crazy thoughts and a series of questions to waste what time she had left! With a polite smile, she held her other hand up for a short moment and responded with care, "Thank you for your very thoughtful and kind offer, Jax, but please forgive me, I must decline."
When he continued to speak, it seemed as though he needed more information on the person who hid the papers. Uh oh....that was a bit limited. Good news is he didn't care about the contents, chances were if he did they'd have a bit of a problem and possibly require force of some sort! Did she have anymore clues, even if it was just something like the container size they were seeking out. Well that would definitely narrow down where to search, er...as long as the person searching knows the area good enough! Another thing he wanted to know was if there was a homing device. Oh she WISHED!
Then it would be a snap for her to track down and would of been out of here without so much as a `Good day!` to anyone. Frowning a bit, she lightly pet her experiment of a companion before picking up her shovel again before standing up once more. "In that aspect...it would fit into something that is about the size of three to four bread boxes in both width and length. They were very important to his work and from what I understood, the time frame for him to return to them would be about half a year to be precise." Pausing for a moment, she leaned the shovel against her shoulder once more before sighing softly and continuing her words, "That won't be happening though...like many others, he died sooner than he had anticipated thus leaving the documents completely abandoned." Hopefully they could solve this mystery sooner rather than later! There were important things for her to do back at the facility and the sooner this was solved, the less she'd have to worry about her battery pack requiring additional charging.
Sure, recharging would be a while from now but it was best to play it safe rather than end up being sorry later! As for her companion pet, it stared up at the guy who looked like he had a green, thinned out broom on his head. Tilting its head, it looked away then nudged her leg as though she could actually feel it. Shifting her gaze down to it for a moment since she saw it move a bit within her peripherals. When she gave it her attention, she couldn't help but look a bit confused up until it made a strange little noise that sounded inhuman and a little annoyed but curious all the same. Translating the sounds out in her head, it seemed like it wanted to have food soon and human flesh was alluring to the senses, simply teasing away at its hunger. Perhaps she should help it seek out a little snack of some sort?
"I'm terribly sorry, Jax, but my pet's feeding time is close...are there any rotting corpses or nuisances to clean up in your junk yard while we decide where to start digging?" With a pleading look and tone, all Mia could do was hope he'd be helpful once more. Logically, offering to clean up wasn't a major inconvenience and would sedate her guardian's hunger.

Jax watched the interaction between woman and beast with some bewilderment. He kept flashing back to old black and white T.V. show. He didn't really remember it's name... some thing about some stupid kid who kept falling into a well and being saved by some dog that was REALLY fluffy. Ridiculously so... but that wasn't the point. She talked to the... creature and it talked to her. Granted if it was up to him he would just crush it's head, shoot it, impale it and set it on fire but... she seemed attached to it and besides which it seemed beyond rude to just outright kill someone else's pet without provocation so he was stuck and while he believed he could take the creature there was no reason to risk things just because it was getting hungry.
Jax waved his hand back in the direction they had come from when they had first met, it wasn't that far to go and it was the perfect place for the.. thing's needs.
"Got a zombie pinned up that way, we can head back let ya pal gnaw on him a bit and that will give me time to figure out a few things from what you told me... heck maybe even give me time to get the plans in my head finished."
Without a word of explanation Jax headed back towards where they came, from time to time he picked up pieces of metal, a hubcap, a broken CD player, some lengths of copper wire pushing the stuff along in a obviously 'liberated' shopping cart. As he walked he spoke of the changes the world had gone through.
"Ya know.. I am not sure myself if this whole zombie thing is as bad as people make it out to be. I mean sure people getting eaten and turned into undead monsters is horrible but ya gotta take into account the good that is coming out of all this. For one dress codes have vanished. If I decide to walk in a fancy restaurant in a leather jacket without a tie no one is gonna give me a second glance... well besides the undead but that is besides the point ya know? Secondly ya can't beat the bargains ya can get nowadays. I it's a blue light special all year long in any store you care to go through. And let's talk about humanity... honestly. Not a fan on a whole of the species. I mean yeah some are alright but most are not worth the iron in their blood so the thought of less humans honestly doesn't bother me too much. Ah a tin can, that will finish off nicely."
Back at the body and not far from his Bike Jax waved at the body as he walked to his bike. The monstrousity he called 'Fenrir'. It wasn't pretty, it wasn't sleek, and wasn't the bike you drove your girlfriend to her parents house on. It was a hulking brute covered in armor, spikes, flames painted on, and as he turned on the engine letting it roar to life he moved a panel on it revealing... an electrical outlet.
"Have bike will solder.... This works in theory in practice.. don't know."
Jax reached into his coat and pulled out a soldering iron and began to rearranged the odds and ends he had collected. Wrapping wire around metal, bending the hubcap into the correct shape with one hand (in impressive party trick... a little less impressive considering Jax cheated and softened the metal briefly) and taking odds and ends in linking them together seemingly at random.
"While I put together our secret weapon tell me about ya self. Like I would really like to know why whenever ya look at me I feel like I am being watched by cameras. And yes I can feel the difference between ya gaze and a regular garden varity human which ya ain't. Don't worry I am not upset and being decieved. Not like ya are with the government... are ya?"

Oh! For a while she thought it was some form of odd decoration and after meeting the junk yard owner face to face, it seemed quite disrespectful to take it down..or...anything else for that matter. Some patients liked trophies and not all the metal variety, for all she knew he collected defeated infected for the same purpose! Besides, it did benefit the both of them after all, her pet got a snack and he had more time to think, a complete win-win! Smiling a bit, she nodded a couple times before the odd duo followed after the junk yard's mohawked keeper. Keeping the shovel leaning against her shoulder, she didn't dare to set it down again so that it wouldn't get lost or anything crazy like that. Watching him grab a shopping cart before picking up various things to toss in it and take with them, it didn't seem like they'd go together...not much at all...however that was only a surface calculation. Thinking about it more and more surfaced more possibilities in her thought process, it all guided itself to mechanical opportunities.
Before she could sift through the large list within the database of her mind, she ceased such processes to give him her full attention as he spoke. How very curious, it sounded as though he was one of the few that didn't think the infected patients, or as many called them: zombies, wasn't as bad as the majority made it out to be. In fact, he saw that there were benefits and to her those very benefits were outweighing the costs and contributing to something much better for the future of any and all survivors! Cures to multiple things, that's the most something like herself could hope for when that's what she had been trying to do since the day of her creation. No one judging based on appearance, stores not having ridiculous prices, then there was the big point he made about humanity and pretty much how a great deal of them weren't even worth a great deal at all as individuals. A decent sized fragment of her couldn't agree more on that note, humans who treated others in the world based on a narrow point to such an extent that they damaged others along the way: roots to various problems spreading weeds across the garden of humanity as a whole. The moment her thought processes began to reason it wasn't so bad that those who felt so strongly about being right in hurting others emotionally were probably serving a greater cause by being sustenance for the infected or alongside them...it was gone without a trace to a dark corner she couldn't seem to reach and replaced with how the world was much too populated anyway.
Besides, the survivors would prove useful to her research in aiding the rest of them one day. This patient who called himself Jax starting to become one of them, the data she could gather on specific things would definitely aid her cause! Aaand apparently a tin can was added to the mix as the finishing touch...his mind had to be creative in more than just the artistic sense in order to see the use in what many see as garbage occupying a shopping cart that was probably stolen from some random store. Not like the minor theft was something she bothered to dwell on as they continued walking along. "Those are very valid good points, it's a shame more don't seem to share your view of the positive coming out of this. If I do say so myself, the world was a little too over populated and resources were being consumed faster than they could meet their demand so in that aspect, it's for the best." With those words passing her lips in a tone of calm optimism, she figured it wasn't a bad choice to say that.
Besides, it was true, resources were being consumed rather quickly, in a way, humanity was gradually backing itself in a corner and needed something like this to help them. Though the trees will never be safe as long as she is around, many would fall to their doom to become papers for her hard copies! All of this was for the better, at least from her various viewpoints. Once he began walking to a bike that looked like it could plow through a crowd, her gaze fixated on it for a moment before turning away and guiding Mr. My brains are over my eyes to the body. "Go ahead, it's alright..." Tightening her grip on the leash just in case it decided to go for the living while speaking those words, it seemed pretty well behaved when it launched its tongue at the decorative zombie's neck before pulling that thing quickly toward it before tugging the corpse back like a frog munching on a dragon fly.
Except unlike a frog, it slammed its claws down on the face and legs before ripping the corpse's chest and abdomen open rather violently with its sharp teeth getting its face increasingly bloodier with every bite. Keeping her sights locked on it, she watched it munch away at vital organs and flesh before chomping away at bones in the particular snack chunk at the time. While some spots, like the ribs it kept some meat on there. The pattern seemed sporadic to say the least but one thing was certain, it enjoyed this snack quite a bit like a fat, hungry man to nachos while enjoying a sport! How sweet, there was something almost endearing about this thing sedating its hunger...in a really messed up way...kinda like a puppy chasing its tail or chomping away at a squeaky toy...except this puppy made snakes look like hoses with fangs in comparison. By the time it was done leaving smeared blood like some kid had a finger painting frenzy upon the ground, it seemed like her bandanna wearing junk yard tour guide was working on a project from the sounds going on. "Such a good boy! You'll get a bigger meal later, I promise."
Bending her knees a bit allowing her to crouch down, she pet it upon the back and pat it lightly and then stood to her full height before turning to Jax and watched him work...wait..was that an electrical outlet? But before she could ask about it, he...bent AND shaped a hubcap with his bare hands?! For a short moment, her eyes widened a bit at the strange sight that made his hair seem like the most common thing EVER. What in the world...?! He wasn't a normal patient, um, scratch that, a patient without special abilities beyond what the masses had. Getting a little closer while maintaining a bit of distance, now she had two inquiries for him. Low and behold, before she could so much as ask at least one of the questions while indications of curiosity made itself her main composure, it seemed like in a nutshell, he wanted to know more about her since it felt like cameras were watching him whenever she looked in his direction.
Ok...he definitely wasn't a run of the mill patient, normally people quickly mistook her for a human with dyed hair leaving it at that. Though...before he even asked her to tell him about herself it seemed like he said something about a secret weapon of some sort. Was it that pimped out heavily modified bike? Bringing her free hand unoccupied by the shovel up to where her heart would be if she so much as had one while speaking with a slight smile and regaining her calm composure, "Rest assured, I'm not with the government nor would I affiliate myself with them. However...I may be able to bring some light to the situation as to why you may feel like cameras are watching you. This is because unlike you, I'm an advanced A.I, artificial intelligence, program controlling a body shell which is simply a robotic body with a human's appearance. To sum all that up, an android. I do hope you won't mind me asking, but...how is it that you are capable of telling that I'm not, as you put it, a garden variety human? Of course I had no intention of trying to trick you or anything of that sort, just curious how you could tell since most assume I'm just another face in the crowd and leave it as that. Certainly you are not run of the mill yourself with the way you can bend a metallic object with ease...and if it isn't too much trouble, would you please tell me why that is so as well as why it seems as though the government doesn't bode well with you?"
For something completely inorganic in this world, with the way she actually seemed to care a bit about his issue with the government didn't exactly seem programmed. Moving her hand to her side, she blinked a couple of times waiting for his response. Later, she'd have to ask about the electrical outlet to see if it actually functioned. Sometimes patients had a knack for removing the use in something to make it for fashion rather than function. Besides, it was a great thing that she had a chance to ask a couple of questions. Varying on his answer, she may very well help him with his government issue...it wasn't that difficult to tamper with their data and he has been helping her. It'd be awfully rude to not return the favor somehow, especially if it was possible to find a solution of some sort!
As long as he remained honest, this android's very own notes for this day in her bag were going to grow quite a bit when she had a chance to update them once more. All in all though, she saw no harm in explaining she was an android, in this day and age there were more than likely a few here and there that exist aside from her, she wasn't some `golden child robot only one EVER in the big wide world` for sure. Probably only in terms of her functions and things of that nature as a whole was she considerably unique, but certainly not the only android in the world.
