Category: Canon, from Resident Evil
Name: Albert Wesker
Alias: N/A
Age: 50
Ranking: Villain
Physical Appearance:
Normal situations:
Combat situations:
Personality:
Above all, Wesker is smart. He can plot out his moves several turns away, and still manage to hit every one of them as he had planned. He knows what he needs to achieve his goals, and has no problem doing what he has to to achieve said goals, whether it be cause outbreaks in facilities or execute innocents who get in his way.
He is a master manipulator, able to twist people around his finger with a few words, and sending them out to do his bidding, all the while allowing them to believe what they wanted about him, whereas to him they were nothing but expendable.
He doesn't make friends, he does not trust others. The only person he puts trust into is himself. And he has no problem betraying those who put their trust into him, and he'll do it without a second thought, as he knows that doing so will bring him closer to his goal.
Though, along with the cold and collected exterior, there is the anger in him, aimed at the S.T.A.R.S team, and Chris Redfield in particular, for how they managed to thwart his carefully laid out plans. But that rage is reserved for S.T.A.R.S and others who get in his way, which is just an unforgivable act.
Powers/Abilities:
Braaaaaaaaaains: Wesker's greatest power will always be his mind. He is brilliant, able to calculate moves far ahead of others, and is an expert strategist and planner.
Fighting Games Everywhere: Wesker's skilled in both armed and unarmed combat, and has trained himself further with techniques that capitalizes on his superstrength and speed.
No fear: This man faced down B.O.W.s BEFORE becoming a superhuman, without a trace of fear. That takes some cajones.
Experimental Virus: The virus given to him by Birkin was different from every other virus seen. The virus increases the host's metabolism, limiting itself to the user's lower organs and muscle tissue. This gives the user various enhancements over normal humans, which will be described below this sentence.
Strength: This gives Wesker strength much higher then the normal human, allowing him to crush steel, lift up very heavy objects (tons of metal, missiles) without much effort, and allows him to send living things flying back with as little as a backhanded swipe or thrust straight through their chests with his hands.
Agility: Wesker can achieve leaps much higher then a normal human, and backflip over bullets (which likely is helped by his ocular enhancements, detailed below)
Speed: Wesker is capable of incredibly fast bursts of speed, to the point where he appears to be teleporting while dodging. Though this does quickly leave him heavily fatigued (See weaknesses)
Dem eyes: The only visible effect of the virus, leaving Wesker with cat-like eyes he constantly keeps behind sunglasses. They allow him to increase how he sees the world (to the level of birds), when need be. This is useful for when needing to dodge bullets and the like.
Regeneration/Pain Endurance: The virus allows for a low-level rapid regeneration, to where he can heal horrific burns to his face shortly after they occur, along with an increased endurance to pain, to where a rocket exploding in his hands will only weaken him for a few minutes.
Equipment:
When the situation calls for Wesker's personal involvement, he always has a specific loadout to complement his powers.
Beretta 92F Custom 'Samurai Edge':
A custom made version of the 9mm Beretta 92F, created specially for S.T.A.R.S. Wesker's is the most heavily customized of the lot, next to Barry Burton's. He's kept it to use for when he encounters Chris Redfield. Killing him with that gun will feel good, bro.
Smith & Wesson Model 500 (The Handcannon):
An extremely powerful magnum revolver, it's ability to pierce even armored enemies and take down minibosses makes it a highly useful weapon for combat situations. Wesker's increased abilities allows him to easily control the very powerful recoil that comes with using the handcannon.
The Hydra:
A triple-barreled (Yes, three barrels, for who knows what reason) sawn-off shotgun, it manages to be effective at both long and far range, and can damage mini-bosses easily. Wesker holds it one-handed, so the possibility of dual-wielding is high.
Psychological Flaws:
Trust no one: Wesker trusts no one, a necessary need when in his business. Though, obviously, this could cause problems if someone who trusts him realizes it.
Superiority complex: Oh boy, does he have one of these. He honestly believes he's better then everyone else on the planet, due to his abilities and brilliance, and as such is the only person worthy of running the world.
Breaking point?: Every person has their breaking points, that thing that'll send them over the point of no return. Despite all the things he's done in his life, the people he's betrayed and the monsters he's created, he's stood firm in his sanity. But who knows what'd happen if he found out about Project Wesker? That his entire mindset was brainwashed into him, that the virus that had turned him into a superhuman was the product of that, that everything was the plan of a feeble, sick old man? Who knows what that'd do to even the most calm and collected man...
Physical Flaws:
Damage: While his regeneration is advanced, it is nowhere near “Get shot in the face and be completely fine!”, he can be injured and hurt, and it does take time for his body to repair itself depending on what was done to him.
Fatigue: Yes, he can do quick dashs so fast he looks like he's teleporting but those come at a price, namely the fact that doing them wear him out quickly. So he has to conserve his use of his full speed, or he'll be passing out quicker then you can say “Lord of the speed”
PG67A/W: While the virus in Wesker is highly advanced, it's still unstable, and as such requires regular injections of a solution, PG67A/W, which stabilizes the virus. If he doesn't get an injection, the chance of him violently mutating rises very quickly very fast, on the other side if he gets too much, it acts as a poison and weakens him.
Other Flaws:
Brief History:
Ozwell E. Spencer did not like the world. He believed it that it was being run by those who did not deserve it, that they were leading the world to armageddon. He had a plan, to cause those who deserved it to evolve, and to create a new human race, with himself as God. To achieve this, he authorized the kidnapping of hundreds of children, who were born to parents of above-average intellect. He had them brainwashed and indoctrinated, his mindset hammered into them, forging them into a group worthy of serving him in his new world. These children, all given the last name of Wesker, after the director of the project, were sent all over the world to be raised with advanced educations under the eye of Umbrella. Soon enough, one child showed promise above and beyond the other Wesker children, catching the eye of Spencer. That child, was named Albert Wesker.
Wesker began working at the Umbrella Training Facility at the age of 17 as a researcher, under Dr. James Marcus. There he met and befriended (perhaps the only time the word actually applies to Wesker), William Birkin, a fellow researcher. In 1978, the two were moved to the Arklay Research Facility under the Spencer Estate, to begin work on the Tyrant-Virus, where they became the facilities chief researchers. For 13 years they worked, across three stages, until 1988, when they had finished the Tyrant bioweapon. Wesker and Birkin were then ordered by Spencer, who wanted Umbrella all to himself, to assasinate Dr. Marcus and to take his research for themselves, which they did without remorse for their former mentor.
In 1991, when Spencer approved Birkin's project to work on the G-Virus he had discovered in Lisa Trevor, Wesker began to have his doubts, realizing that Spencer was insane. He immediately requested transfer to Umbrella's Intelligence Division. It would be 5 years before the most important assignment of his life was given: Infiltrate the newly formed S.T.A.R.S. Unit, where he quickly rose to the rank of Captain, running the unit while giving all info on investigations to Umbrella. In 1998, Dr. Marcus was reanimated, causing an outbreak of the T-Virus. At first ordered keep S.T.A.R.S. out of it, public outcry led to his orders being changed: Send in S.T.A.R.S. and use them to gather combat data on the B.O.Ws performance against them. He first sent in Bravo team, who made for excellent combat data. At the same time, Wesker and Birkin were ordered to reclaim the Umbrella Training Facility, but Dr. Marcus rendered that impossible, so Wesker was forced to destroy it, realizing that now would be the time to leave Umbrella. As he was leaving he encountered Spencer's most trusted official, Sergei Vladimir. Sergei, not pleased with Wesker's response to where he was going, and dispatched his bodyguard, an Ivan, a highly advanced Tyrant, to teach Wesker a lesson. Wesker thought it would be entertaining, and engaged the Ivan in a fight, until the facility exploded, distracting Sergei and the Ivan long enough for him to slip away.
The next night, Wesker dispatched Alpha team to the estate, after all contact with Bravo team was lost. Wesker immediately ordered them to split up once they were forced to take refuge in the mansion, allowing Wesker to use Barry Burton, who he forced into helping him by threatening his family, to lure the Alpha team into traps. However, a surviving member of Bravo, Enrico, managed to find evidence about Wesker's involvement, requiring Wesker to kill the man himself. Soon after, in the lab containing the Tyrant, Wesker was confronted by Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. Wesker awakened the Tyrant...who proceeded to smash out of it's container, impaling Wesker on it's claws at the same time.
However, before Wesker had left for the mansion, Birkin, who knew of his plan to leave Umbrella, gave to Wesker a special virus. Unknown to Wesker, it was given to Birkin by Spencer, as part of Project Wesker. So, before Chris and Jill saw him, Wesker injected himself with the virus, and allowed himself to be killed by the tyrant, planning to collect the combat data once he awoke. However, when he awoke, he found everything had gone wrong. Chris and Jill had managed to kill the Tyrant and escape, even managing to start the mansion's self-destruct. Wesker attempted to take the files from the computer system, only for Red Queen, a computer program that protected Umbrella's assets, informed him that she had removed his access privileges. Wesker vowed that she would regret that, and began his escape of the mansion, fighting B.O.Ws as he did, finding his new powers to be as amazing as he had been told, and even fought Lisa Trevor, the old guinea pig, rendering her unable to fight just moments before the mansion exploded.
With the data he had, he was able to secure a high-ranking position with one of Umbrella's rival corporations, known only as “The Organization.” When Raccoon City suffered a T-Virus outbreak, Wesker, acting as a go-between between the Organization and spies, sent an agent named Ada Wong into Raccoon to get a sample of the G-Virus, which she succeeded in to the pleasure of both Wesker and the Organization. At the same time, Wesker established his own private military force, naming it the Hive/Host Capture Force (H.C.F.)
Three months after Raccoon, Wesker was tasked with retrieving the T-Veronica virus from Rockfort island. He invaded with the H.C.F. and, while engaging the Umbrella forces, the T-Virus and B.O.Ws in the facility were released, causing an outbreak on the island. However, they did not find Alexia or the T-Veronica virus, so Wesker departed for the Antarctic Research Facility, which suffered a similar outbreak due to infected personnel trying to escape to there. It was there that Wesker encountered Chris Redfield once more. But before Wesker could attempt to kill Chris, Alexia appeared, shifting into a mutated form and easily beating Wesker, causing Wesker to retreat, thinking Chris would be killed by Alexia. Instead, Chris managed to kill Alexia, robbing Wesker of a chance to get the T-Veronica virus, however he found the corpse of Steve Burnside, which contained the T-Veronica virus. Wesker then went to fight Chris, as the base began to count down to self-destruct. Wesker was poised to deliver the killing blow when a small explosion caused a flaming pillar to come between them, badly burning Wesker's face in the process, though it healed after. After vowing to Chris that next time he wouldn't be as lucky, Wesker managed to escape, the sample in hand, and his hate of Redfield having grown.
5 years later, Wesker heard of a team, led by Jill and Chris, would be attacking the final Umbrella facility in Russia. Wesker infiltrated it first, and caused an outbreak of B.O.Ws in the facility, before advancing through the facility, encountering Sergei again. This time, Sergei dispatched BOTH Ivans to kill Wesker, who used his superhuman abilities to effortlessly kill the two Tyran variants. In the control room, Wesker faced Sergei once more, who had mutated into a monster after injecting himself with the T-Virus. Wesker managed to kill Sergei, and then took all of Umbrella's data, which was stored in the Red Queen, and then, fulfilling the vow he made in the Spencer mansion, deleted the Red Queen. He then, as an anonymous witness, submitted evidence against Umbrella in court, leading to Umbrella being shut down for good.
Shortly after, he contacted Tricell, another pharmaceutical corporation, and with the data he had, allowed them to create their own bioweapons division, for which he was greatly compensated. It was then that Wesker decided to work with Tricell as well, who were another valuable asset to his goals. He met Excella Gionne, a descendent of Tricell's founders. She was smart and ambitious, and had shown romantic attraction to him, which allowed him to easily manipulate her into becoming a high-level asset, with her rising the ranks of Tricell thanks to his resources.
After this, Wesker finally began his own organization, a secret from the Organization, Tricell, and everyone else, recruiting agents like Jack Krauser. He planned to craft his organization into a new Umbrella, with him at the head, as he saw Umbrella as the ultimate example of power. To achieve that, he would need much wealth and resources, so he planned to go down the list of Umbrella's rival corporations and sell them the virus' they wanted. The plan began when Tricell, who wished to get a sample of the newly discovered Las Plagas parasite, particularly the control Plagas. He commisioned Ada Wong to be his field agent for it, along with Krauser, though they did not trust one another. As it would turn out, that was correct, as Ada would end up killing Krauser after meeting with Leon S. Kennedy again, though whether Wesker knew she was disobeying orders by helping Leon is unknown. She managed to escape, and gave Wesker the sample he needed. However, it would turn out that Ada was instead loyal to the Organization, and gave Wesker a modified Subordinate Plaga instead. However, this still worked in his favor, as Tricell managed to make use of the Plaga, and compensated Wesker heavily for it. Afterwards, Wesker decided that he had achieved what he needed from the Organization and left them in the dust.
Now, Wesker has managed to convince Mia to join his side, as her abilities would greatly benefit the testing of virus', and his ultimate goal. Fixing the world that is so very wrong.
Reason for being on AM: Locate Spencer, and then replacing the incompetent fools running the world with someone much more suited for the job.
Sample RP:
The room was black, and wide. The only light in the room came from the entrance, where the red lights surrounding the stairs left a red glow emanating from under the closed door. The room itself was nearly featureless except for a metal post, disc drives on it, placed next to a chair, which was in front of a digital screen, which stretched around the room, reaching from the floor to the ceiling. Sitting in the chair was the man who never removed his sunglasses. Fingers tapped armrests, glowing green keypads on them, controlling the screen, filled with data. Geographical data, maps, population records, everything appearing and shifting around on the screen as Wesker's eyes followed them without a problem, pushing his eyesight to accommodate the speed the information was moving around the screen at. The location had to be perfect.
It had been only a few weeks since he had convinced Mia to accept him as her Designated Superior, and already she had studied the data he had given her inside and out and offered several possible alterations to the structure of the T-Virus, which he found remarkable (Almost as remarkable as the number of file cabinets she had managed to fill with notes in the short time she had begun working with him.) He was not very surprised when she came to him with a request. To help their mutual goals, she felt she needed to see the T-Virus in action, to see how it's current effects work for herself, which Wesker was only too happy to oblige. Now he just had to locate the appropriate location to release it into. Several factors affected that, such as size of the city, the population, whether there was a strong military presence nearby, and of course, whether any metahumans were nearby. They were a wild card, which Wesker was not a fan of. Well, not a fan of when the wild card isn't himself, that is.
One of the maps that popped up caught his eye, quick glances across it piquing his interest. A quick flick of a finger across a mouse installed in the armrest threw the other information off the screen, while a second flick brought all the info associated with the map up. He looked it over. Mockingbird Island. A city/island in the near the coast of California. Population was only 9,000, which was much more manageable then the 100,000 Raccoon had. The main way in was a single bridge. Cripple it, and the ability to send others into the island was significantly lowered. Yes, this was exactly what was needed. The ideal environment to allow his new partner to see the virus in action. Wesker leaned back in his chair and smirked.
“Perfect.”

“Perfect.”
