My friend in Japan keeps cracking wise about his milkshake business but this sounds serious.. hope you two are OK.

The most stressful part was not knowing if my friends were ok since the lines were jammed up and what have you. I managed to get a hold of Allie and she was alright and out of the evacuation zone. So YAY we're safe as can be! Where I live has water but some of the other places aren't so lucky aaaand I'm not sure if she and I have college classes next week cause apparently the wave was big enough to hit Walgreens which isn't really close to the shore line and the college we attend is pretty much across the harbor O__o;;; so....yeah...according to some sources the malls are flooded. No photographic or video evidence that I can gather but I wouldn't doubt it due to the location.

Ahriman, thanks for the concern but Japan got hit pretty bad >: like WAY worse than us. My brother and I were watching the news last night as it was happening and...yeah...it was unreal for what was happening to Japan....plus I have a friend in Japan as well, but she was panicking because buildings were shaking around her. Thankfully she remained safe C: hopefully your friend is alright too

Yeah, my friend's fine, he was kinda cranky the after-shocks kept him awake but the dude's hardcore. I'm visiting him at the end of April so its kinda comforting to know even through Earthquakes he's making jokes about fat people jumping up and down. Apparently, Japan actually build their places with the plan to endure Earthquakes so he was relatively fine in Tokyo.
