While Nara climbed onto Vince's bike, Anya stood uncharacteristically still, her gaze fixed on the alley's entrance. The vengeance demon's posture was rigid and tense, betraying her growing anxiety. The motorcycle, while helpful if not necessary in getting them all out of here faster, wasn't exactly subtle. Its noise would almost certainly alert the zombies to their presence, if they weren't already aware. And Vince had said something about them having a police car! That was bad. Very, very bad. If at all possible, they needed to get out of there without being spotted at all. A chase through the streets of New York wasn't exactly Anya's idea of a fun time, after all.
The coast looked clear at the moment, but it probably wouldn't stay that way for long. Reluctantly tearing her gaze away from the street and turning to her two companions, Anya nodded. "I'll see you guys there." She agreed, and for a moment a flicker of concern passed over her face. "...Please don't get killed." Blunt, honest, and slightly over-dramatic, but it was a comment that was typical of the demon none the less. She watched the motorcycle speed off in the direction of the pizza shop, raising her hand and offering a small wave as she looked after them. Hopefully, that motorcycle was fast.
As soon as they were out of sight, the blonde visibly relaxed. Reflecting on the scene that had just played out, she couldn't help but laugh lightly. They really were strange, Nara and Vince. Regardless, she couldn't help but find them a bit endearing. They reminded her of her old friends from Sunnydale, in a strange sort of way. Still, she reminded herself firmly, I need to be careful, no matter how friendly they seem. You don't know what Nara is, after all, and Vince...Vince is human. The latter could potentially prove to be a problem, if Vince figured out that she and Nara were supernatural creatures. When it came to this kind of thing, it was so hard to tell with humans. She couldn't just walk up to them and say, "Hi! How are you? I'm a vengeance demon, nice to meet you." Because in Anya's experience, at best they'd think she was crazy. At worst, they'd run away screaming...or try to play the hero, and attack her. She needed to be cautious in Vince's company until she could gauge what his reaction would be.
With the motorcycle safely out of sight, the demon closed her eyes...and vanished from the alley in a light, stormy puff of smoke. Seconds later, she reappeared outside the pizza place they had agreed to meet at. After she'd taken a quick look around to make sure no one had witnessed her little display, Anya sighed and leaned back against the wall for support. The effects of her teleportation were still a tad unpredictable at times. She wasn't sure whether it was because she hadn't used her demonic powers for so long, or whether she simply wasn't concentrating hard enough when she attempted it, but occasionally teleporting made her dizzy and disoriented.
Trying to shake these unpleasant side effects, Anya took a couple of slow, deep breaths, and waited for her two new friends to arrive.

Reno watched the guy climb behind him as he smiled at him at let him do that. He was fine with helping but he wished he could take both but he did what he could. Reno just hoped that Anya would be alright so. He then picked up an eyebrow and laughed a little at the guy's question. "No, it's not a horse. It's a bike, motorcycle to be exactly. Harley Davidson style. You haven't seen this vehicle before I am guessing, am I right? It is very fast and it can get you places. " He looked backwards as much as he could then he looked forward. Reno sighed when the guy held in to him the way he did. "Sorry dude not my type. Hold in to my waist or put your hands behind but not over there please" He explained as he hoped the guy will understand him. He pointed at his west. "That's my waist" He added then he concentrated on the riding more then anything else. Reno was glad that he made no noise, it was the same as before but the zombies still sensed them either way but that was a different story all together.
He got out of his thoughts once more and looked at Anya as he watched her then listened to her and nodded. "Alright, will see you there but be careful so. Alright?" Reno watched her as he said this. "We won't, don't get yourself killed either alright? I will be disappointed and annoyed if that happened so be careful too, alright?" He was very serious when he said this as well as he meant it as he meant anything else he said. Reno only met her as Anya now and he only met the guy and he already liked them. As friends of course. As well as he cared for them and admired them. Even so Anya wasn't Cindy he was surprised that they shared the same personality, sort off. If he didn't know better he would have thought that Anya was in fact Cindy just trying to be silly or something. However, everything else she did and and said didn't seem or sounded like her which convinced even more that she wasn't, Cindy. Unfortunately it didn't tell him how was Cindy and the others so.
Reno was going to check about that pretty soon but not just yet so. After a while he got c0nvinced that she would be OK and headed far from her towards the pizza place. Even so it didn't stop Reno from worrying about her. Far from it. The far they got from Anya the more worried he was. Reno hoped with all his heart and soul that Anya was alright. He couldn't bare the thought of anything happening to her. After all she and the guy were his new friends and he was a very caring guy after all. The only ones he couldn't care less for was the zombies and the human enemies that he had but that was a different story after all. Not to mention it was rather obvious.
"Do you think she would be alright?" Reno wondered out loud as he waited for the guy to apply. He just hoped that the guy understood him though. Reno asked that of course when they were away from her completely. He then made some sudden turned as he saw some zombies behind them. Also they were not because of his bike but because of the fact that they were near but still. Reno didn't like that at all. Oh please got, don't let her die He thought. True after all Reno went through he wasn't much of believer of god but he still prayed at times so. Like right now in his heart. Reno didn't only prayed for Anya but for others too who were not evil. After all that was the way he was because he was raised well.
It took him a while but eventually he got to the pizza place. To Reno's surprise and most likely to the guy's surprise too, Anya was already there waiting for them. He then parked not to far away and got off the bike as he waited for the guy to do the same. Reno then walked over to her as he looked around then back at her. "How did you got here so fast? Did you find a faster way to get here that i didn't know about? I will assume yeah. Would you mind to share it? If not it's fine. " Reno looked at her as he said that. "The good news are that you are alive and well. That is all that I care for. Really"
"Knowing that is good enough for me. Well us anyways. Right?" The last part he addressed the guy as he hoped he understood him. "You were not waiting to long. Were you?" He wondered as he looked at her. "It took us some time to get here because I was still trying to find some of my friends. Plus there were some of 'our friends' ambushing us so I had to go the much longer way. Which took almost forever but at least we made it here alive. That is all what matters" Reno added and then he sighed. He looked around then back at them. Shell we go in? After that we will need to find a safe place to hide but i am sure we can do that so"
Reno waited for the two to reply as he got ready to walk inside. "What created those things in the first place, that what I would love to know. Don't you?" He looked between the two as he figured the answer was yes but asked anyways. Reno hated the idea that those things existed but was rather glad that they were safe. At least for now, anyways. "I am glad my bike makes no noises or we would be in trouble." He said that more to himself aloud then to others.

Naradan struggled at first trying to listen to what he was being instructed to do by the human. He was fascinated by the device he made a mental not to find one when he learned exactly what these things were. They were so COOL!!! he would make it a top priority to "Acquire" one when he next got the chance. Well when he learned how to ride the "bike.." right another first priority he added to his thoughts.
"Of course she will be alright...." she is a demon after all Nara answered fairly innocently and obviously very enthusiastically. He was grinning like an idiot behind reno as he was ridding on the back this was his first every motorcycle ride after all.
He watched as the canyon maze flashed and blurred around him into what seemed to be a single blur. It was such an amazing invention his eyes stung a bit but his wings felt refreshed at the wind blowing through them as the coat flapped in the air behind them.
This machine it was like flying....on the ground. he thought to himself as he continued to ride with reno enjoying every moment of the whole sensory overload.
When the bike stopped he shook his head trying to recover his senses. It was such a cool machine. "That...............was..............AMAZING..." he said almost screaming it out as he pretty much jumped into the air. He said it in very slow english as if he were having a hard time with it which he was. He paused and realized he had just made a complete idiot out of himself. "....My ap.....pologies." he said flushing a bright red.
He bowed to reno and said in a gental voice. "T....hhh......an.....k......you...." it was weird that the young man was being not only so formal but having problems with English. Granted this was the first time he had started to use the language so you really couldn't blame him.
He turned and saw Anya waiting for them at the shop, he was still grinning from ear to ear from the rush of his first motorcycle ride. He followed Reno towards anyways table and sat down his brain still recovering from the adrenal high of his first ever bike ride.
He sat down and went into a daydream as his body tried to adjust from the sudden rush of hormones now flooding his system.

It appeared she wouldn't have to wait long. In no time, Vince's motorcycle was pulling up in front of the store with both of the men in tow. Standing up straight once more, Anya stepped away from the wall and moved forward to greet them. She watched cautiously as her companions climbed off the bike, and inspected them closely for any signs of injury. The demon assumed that they'd made it to the shop without being attacked, however, because neither seemed to be hurt. Far from it, actually. Nara was practically shouting about something as they approached. Anya was initially alarmed until she realized that her friend was, in fact, grinning as if he were the happiest person in the world.
What on earth...? Anya giggled at the outburst, both amused and intrigued. Where was Nara from, anyway? The vengeance demon turned her attention to Vince. She was curious as to what his reaction to all of this might be, but before she could say anything he was speaking to her. Questioning her, actually, as to how she'd gotten to the shop so quickly. Anya's animated expression suddenly faded, replaced by a rather comical look of guilty bewilderment. Uh...oops. The blonde thought dryly as she wracked her mind for an explanation.
"Rollerblades!" The demon blurted out randomly. Wait, no, that didn't make sense. She'd give herself points for creativity, but as far as believability went, her excuse was seriously lacking. She really needed to learn to think before speaking. "I mean...just kidding. Heh." Anya forced a grin and a false laugh while inwardly wincing. "Actually, yeah, a shortcut. I, uh, come here all the time...so I know lots of shortcuts." She awkwardly rocked up and down on the heels of her feet, before clearing her throat and following the group inside. Hopefully, Vince would consider the subject dropped...especially if she could switch his focus to something else. Thank goodness for those zombies.
Anya seated herself as soon as they chose a table, still a bit on edge. She had to smile at Vince's concerned comment, despite her own anxiety. "Well, thank you. I'm glad you two are alright as well. It's kind of hard to make friends in this city...most of them keep dying, or getting infected or something..." She trailed off, heaved a dramatic sigh, and then shrugged. "Oh well! I don't know who or what created them. I don't want to know. I just want it to stop."
With that, the vengeance demon picked up a menu. She scanned the list of pizza varieties, trying to decide what she was hungry for. If she thought about those disgusting zombies any longer, she'd most likely lose her appetite. Of course, it would be stupid to forget about them completely, given that there was a possibility that the zombies could have followed them here. Now that would be unpleasant. Anya set the menu down, glanced around the shop, and then waved at an unenthusiastic looking teenager who was wearing a name tag."Hey you! Do you work here? 'Cause we're kind of hungry!" The demon told him innocently, before turning back to her companions. "Hold the zombie thoughts for a second. What do you guys want on your pizza? Oh--" She paused for a moment, remembering that not everyone in their little group had tried pizza before. She switched her gaze to Nara. He still seemed to be daydreaming at the moment, most likely about the motorcycle ride. Anya smiled. "Nara?...I'd say go with pepperoni. It's usually a winner with most people."

Reno laughed at the way the guy was behaving. It wasn't what he expected at all. He listened to Anya and sighed as he lifted an eye brow and looked her over. "Well short cut is good too" Reno smiled at her. As soon as they headed inside he set next to Anya or rather tried. "I know what you mean, believe me" He looked between the two and sighed. "Same here believe me. It's not as important as stopping it but to stop it we need to know who created them so that we cold stop him or her from creating more and stop the whole thing all together" Reno really did think that. Because other wise he wasn't sure how to stop the things all together without finding the source. Reno saw no other way in stopping the zombies because there was no off switch bottom anywhere in town. Not that he saw any anyways.
Reno was glad when the subject was changed, how could he not?Talking about what went outside only worried him as well as scared him.It also made him rather on edge. Besides they came inside to eat not talking about problems and such. They were inside also to talk about better things. Reno got out of his thoughts as he watched what Anya did and heard what she said. He then watched the waiter come over as he looked between the two then t the waitress. Reno wondered who was going to order first, not that it really mattered to him but still. He wondered in fact when would the guy come back to reality because the guy at that moment seemed completely out of it.
"Regular pizza and some coffee. You know what make it two regular pizzas and coffee for me, thank you" he said to the waitress as he watched her write that down. Reno then looked between the two as he picked an eye brow at the guy. It was not what he expected nor planed at all, that was for sure. Reno had no idea that his bike could make someone act that way as it never happened before. To say the least. "Hey man, are you alright there? You look like you are going to jump up and down again or something" He watched him and shocked his head kinda amused.
"He is completely out of it, Anya" Reno looked at her as he said that then he looked at the waitress and back at the guy. He then gently kicked him from under the table to wake him up.

"sorr...rry..Its....that....device.....it....reminds...me.....of.....flying." he said describing the sensation as best he could. That might bring Anya's suspicious to confirmation. Granted had an excuse ready if such a question was ever brought up.
He smiled and tried to get his mind clear of all these new emotions and breathed as slowly as possible to try and calm his overloaded thoughts and get them back on task. "i'm fine...with...what you think....Anya.." his English was good its just so far he seemed very unsure he was stopping after a few words ect. But his voice had that same silky quality it had when he spoke any any other language. It was the kind of voice that many demon's possessed when the wished to manipulate, so Anya would probably recognize it instantly.
It had a kind of honey-tone to it and if it was used right it could probably be very manipulative. Nara however ignored this and just tried his best to come down from his emotional high of adrenaline. "Thank you...for...the ride..." he said unsure to reno giving him a slightly embarrassed look realizing how foolish he must have looked a few minutes ago. He also had noticed that several people had stared at him openly during his little out burst. "that was my first motor...cycle....ride...." he murmured in a really low voice.
He glanced around the restaurant kind of amazed that there were so many people here. Granted there were a lot of men with "Wands."(guns) in their hands alert and looking about as if they were watching out for something.

Anya gave the waiter a friendly grin as he slowly approached their table, oblivious to his irritation. Deciding that she'd allow either Vince or Nara to order first, she busied herself with trying to appear a little more presentable. She smoothed the curls of her blonde hair, which was still looking a bit disheveled and rather windswept. The effort appeared to be in vain, however. There wasn't much she could do without a shower and some clean clothes. Anya shrugged inwardly, and decided that she'd worry about it later. She supposed she'd attempt to sit still, as impossible as this feat seemed. After all, it appeared that the zombies hadn't followed them, she had made two new friends, and she was having pizza. She could afford to relax a little.
...Or so she thought, until she heard Nara speak again. When they'd conversed in Greek, Anya had been too focused on actually understanding the language to notice anything peculiar. But now that he was learning to speak English, his accent was apparent. The quite, soothing, almost manipulative quality of his voice immediately sounded alarm bells for the vengeance demon. She suddenly sat up straight in her seat, staring at Nara with wide eyes. It was as if something had clicked into place, a solution to the puzzle she'd been trying to solve since the moment she met the strange, guarded man. The Latin, his hesitation to speak English, his amazement upon seeing and riding the motorcycle...it all made sense!
Nara was a demon. Actually, if Anya knew her demons--and she did--what with the Latin-speaking and evidently being from some kind of hell dimension, she would guess that he was some kind of Devil. Which...explained a lot, actually! But at the same time, left a hell of a lot unexplained. About a million questions instantly filled the vengeance demon's mind, her expression intrigued as she stared openly at Nara. Even as blunt and inquisitive as she was, however, Anya didn't dare voice any of these questions just yet. For one thing, Vince still didn't know about all of this, and she didn't have any idea as to what his reaction might be. And if there was a fight...well, she really didn't want there to be a fight.
Vince! Suddenly snapping out of her thoughts, Anya turned to the man beside her and hoped he hadn't noticed anything out of the ordinary. It seemed he had finished ordering, however, because the waiter was now staring at her expectantly. "Oh!" Anya silently scolded herself for getting so distracted. "I'll have...a pepperoni pizza, please. And a coke." she finished with another smile. Although hadn't said anything, the demon was visibly more restless than she had been a moment ago. Her fingers tapped lightly on the table, a subconscious nervous habit she had.
She would really have to find out more about Nara, if they had a chance to talk later. But actually, she was quite curious about Vince as well. After all, he'd pretty much just rode up on a motorcycle and asked her if she was some girl named Cindy. She didn't really know who he was, exactly, or where he'd come from. Dropping her hands in her lap in an effort to keep still, Anya looked between her two new friends. "So..." She began after a long moment of silence. "I guess we should all get to know each other, or...something?" The vengeance demon didn't have the most proficient social graces after all, so the statement ended up sounding more like a question. "How long have you guys lived in New York? Assuming you do live here. We get a lot of tourists, although I'm not sure why..." She mumbled, scoffing at yet another human habit she didn't understand. Still, Anya was actually genuinely curious to get the answer to her question--otherwise she wouldn't have bothered asking, of course.

When the pretty waitress had asked for his order he paused a second then decided to copy Anya. "I would.....like a pepperoni.... pizza with.... coke." he shrugged he had no idea what the concotion actually was but he figured he would try.
The waitress smiled at the young man, for somereason she was facinated by the young man if not enchanted. she didn't know why or how she shook her head realizing she was gawking for a moment. "Right i got that i'll be back with your orders." she replied embaressedly.
Nara was bemused by the waitresses response, it hadn't been intentional his voice tended to have a funny quality on people. He had no reason to understand it. He tilted his head and thought about how best to answer anyas question without withholding allot of information yet still trying to be polite, yet also withholding enough to keep his identity safe not so much from anya but from vince.
He had pretended to not notice anyas dawning comprehenssion to what he was. He was good at playing the fool it had worked alot durring his time in his plane. He thought carefully before speaking, though the spacing between his words was rappidly starting to dissapear.
Mostly it was from hearing the language around him and occassinally peaking into one of the minds of a patron or waitress thanks to his telekenetic sensativity.
He sighed then answered, "I have only been in town a few days....I was staying....at....a.....ummm....lib...bary....i think is the word..." he muttered more to himself than anya. This was kind of vauge but it was honestly the truth he had been in the libary for roughly 2 days before comming outside. He left out the part of how he got there ect and left it to imagination. 'i mean how am i goiong to say i suddenly appeared in front of a bunch of hungry zombies...' was a thought that crossed his mind.
He sighed and listened to everybody around him talking mostly it was news about the bitting fish or zombies as they were called here. He still preferred bitting fish it made more sense whenever he thought of Dirge. He shrugged the thought away however and just listened he was obviously a fast learner thought the way it might seem to Vince would be he was a genius of some kind considering he was starting to pick up English after a few hours of hearing it.

Reno watched it all as he sighed. He heard what the guy was saying as well as he heard the fact that the guy learned the english language fast but ignored it so. Well for now anyway. Reno did notice how Anya looked at the guy and all, yet pretended that he didn't see anything. He still remembered that the guy said something about her being a demon like it was normal but ignored that. Reno didn't believe that it was possible at all. In fact he doubted that very much. When Anya turned towards him he just looked at her. He looked between the two and sighed. one more as he waited for the guy to order.
When the waiter left with their order he just looked at Anya, as soon as he heard her speak. "I am a bounty hunter from Bay City, California. There are two Bay City's but i am from the one in California. I was born in San Diego, California" Reno replied to her question. "And to answer your question I am here for a day and a half. I got here yesterday or so. And I am kinda stuck here since" He added. "You see I was in the other area from this pizza place. So you could say it's my second visit in the pizza place"
"I been here like a month or so ago the first time. Here I met my boss's and Partner's contact. Named Randy. She is a girl not a boy but got a guy's name because her parents expected another boy. Yet they got a girl" Reno told both. "I am originally here to see her but with no luck so. The place I ate before is gone. It used to be an Italian coffee shop or something, here in New York but it's not here anymore. Unfortunately. Coffee there sucks but the food is great" He added. "Anyway, how about the two of you?"
When the guy Spoke he listened to him and sighed as he nodded in understanding. "You slept there?" Reno looked at the guy as he asked that since it was directed to the guy the anyone else. Some girls looked towards their table talking and giggling. They talked about Reno and the other guy. They both thought they were cute and all that stuff. Some girls suspected that both guys dated Anya or something which wasn't true of course. Yet how could they possibly know that.
Reno had no idea about that of course, even if Anya and the other guy heard that or not. After all the two with Reno were demons even if Reno knew or not, He on the other hand was only human. Which was basically one reason why he didn't hear that. The other reason why he didn't hear was because they set to far and besides he wasn't going to listen to people's conversations. "Anya, on the way he mentioned a demon. What did he mean by it? He said that about you? I thought he meant because he finds you strange, is it true?"
Reno looked at her as he said that and waited for her t reply. He wondered what would she say. Originally though, Reno wasn't planing to say anything about it. Yet it bugged him in some reason. That was why he asked. It nagged him because it seemed like the guy meant something by it but he had no idea what so.

"A library?" Anya puzzled this over for a moment, wondering how on earth Nara had ended up in a library. And how did a person stay in one? She frowned and reflected that if anyone had ever made her live in a library, she wouldn't last a day and a half. "I don't much care for libraries. They're full of cranky old women who give you disapproving looks and make shh-ing noises." The demon grumped. If there was one thing Anya didn't take kindly to, it was people telling her to be quiet. Or places where she had to be quiet. Or anything that involved quietness, really.
But perhaps Nara didn't have much choice in the matter. After all, it was apparent that he was fairly new to this world. Anya could relate very well to being in a new, foreign world where nothing made much sense, and she knew how difficult adjusting to it could be. The difference was, she'd had some time to grow accustomed to it. "But where are you--I mean, do you have...anywhere else to go?" she asked him tentatively. It was true that she didn't know much about Nara. Her newfound realization of him being a devil was something, but...she still didn't know how he got here, or what he intended to do. And until she found out these things, she knew she had to consider him potentially dangerous. Even so, she couldn't help worrying about him staying in some dusty old library.
Her concerns were slightly dissipated, or at least distracted, when Vince answered as well. His story sparked the vengeance demon's interest, especially the part about where he was from. "Ooh! Bay City? Ever been to Sunnydale?" Anya asked before she could stop herself from mentioning the little California town she'd come to think of as her home. Granted, Sunnydale was now little more than a hole in the desert, but perhaps Reno had visited before that...little incident.
There was one tiny detail of Vince's tale that made Anya apprehensive. She had tried to ignore it and focus on the more specific aspects of his story, but the thought nagged at her like a thorn pricking at her side. Vince had said he was a bounty hunter. And it wasn't like the demon had anything against bounty hunters, but it just...complicated things a bit. The guy hunted criminals for a living. Not that she was implying that criminals and demons were anywhere near the same thing--she had run a magic shop for two years without stealing a penny or hurting a fly, thank you very much--but she had to wonder whether Vince would make those kind of distinctions. Ah well. He'd been with them this long, and hadn't seemed to notice anything. It probably wouldn't even come up...
"Anya, on the way he mentioned a demon. What did he mean by it? He said that about you? I thought he meant because he finds you strange, is it true?"
WHAT?! Anya almost yelped the thought aloud, and only just managed to refrain from actually doing so. Bewildered, she gaped at Vince as if he'd just grown four arms, at a loss for words. Stunned, she glanced back and forth between her two companions. Crap. What should I do. What should I say? The demon thought wildly. No, wait, that was a stupid question. She'd lie about it, of course! The only problem being...Anya was a notoriously bad liar.
"I, uh, no! No! I mean...yes. Nara just said that 'cause he thinks I'm weird. Most people do, actually. Can't say I blame 'em, I am a little..." She made a motion with her fingers to suggest insanity, all the while chuckling nervously. "D-demons. Pfft. Demons are...are silly, fictional creatures made up to frighten little children. Just like the Easter Bunny. Don't you think?" Anya stammered, growing even paler as she was forced to mention the stupid, terrifying giant rabbit that had given her nightmares on numerous occasions. If there was one thing she didn't want to think about it right now, it was bunnies!
Despite her anxiety, however, Anya watched Vince closely. Her last question had actually been voiced for a reason...whether he believed her or not, she'd use this moment to gauge his reaction to the idea of demons and...those sorts of things.

"The lady seemed nice enough besides all i was really doing is reading.....the......dic..tion.....ohh hell.....i call it a big book of words." Nara answered simply enough, he liked the way he said things more than how they were said by other people. Anyways he shrugged not really caring how it sounded someone reading a dictionary for 2 days. He let them be shocked amazed whatever the hell they wanted to think, he came into a world he didn't understand and so he did what most sensible people at least from his time did they went for the nearest source of information, weather it as a crier, a herald, hell a prostitute. In this case he went to a library which might make sense if they thought about it enough.
He also wasn't about to mention his summoning and being bounced back out of a cage. Hell that would sound crazy probably not to anya but it sure as hell would sound wierd to Vince. And angery human's tended to get mobs of other like minded individuals and chase out things like him, or misunderstood individuals and try to hang them, burn them, and in general be not so nice.
He caught anya's first question and gave her a knowing wink before touching her thoughts. "i'm a devil as you very well know my'lady." His thoughts had the same silky kind pattern they did with his voice, except for the strange malice or was it envy or anger, or maybe all kinds of unusual lack of inhibition most demon's possesed. It was however very like his own personality under control, more so than any devil she had probably met before. "i would prefer you not inquire further about me in front of our human friend aloud." he added to her thoughts.
Nara continued as if he hadn't just touched anya's mind and smiled, "Well you see....I don't exactlly.....ehh......"
"Here you go young man" The waitress said setting his pizza down. Ignoring his unanswered question he dug into the pizza. He savored each bite and chomped on it as if it was the most amazing thing he had tried.
His obvious avoidance of the question was probably enough of an indicator that he had no where else to go other than being with them.
After devouring his first 2 pieces he said pleasantly, "only bad thing about the library was the lady demanded i check out the books in my bag." he said pleasantly. Speaking of his bag he dropped it off of his coat and let it hit the floor. It landed with a loud thud, there were probably 5 maybe 10 textbooks worth of reading material in it. Though if they looked inside it would become very obvious he hadn't been able to read or understand English if they saw the books.
He drank down the whole cold soda she had brought for him in a mater of a few seconds as he savored the feeling of freedom he had again. Nara couldn't help but laugh when she brought up her obvious fear of so called bunny rabbits. He could tell she was trying to cover up for earlier and was rather surprised she couldn't lie worth a damn.
Nara had no intention of hurting anybody as was obvious from his brief touch with anyas mind would reveal. He was genuinely curious about where he was probably very young even compared to her being only a few hundred years old. He so far had no interest in going home he wanted to find out what the deal was with the angry zombies, why they were there and why they were infecting people, he also wanted to see if he could meet others like anya.
After a few minutes silence he was continuing to chomp on his pizza, though he was wondering how vince had heard his pluck about Anya being a demon it had been silently in his thoughts, or had he whispered it by accident while thinking it. there was also the possibility vince was telepathically inclined, or that he had brushed vinces mind without meaning to. He shrugged to himself and kept eating the pizza, though he had less than normal table manners.

Reno watched them as he listened to them speak. He figured that the replies the other guy gave was to him too, even if he wasn't sure about that. It did interest Reno what they said. No matter what since they were rather interesting people. At least to him anyway. Reno was definitely surprised by what the guy said, that was no doubt. He personally wouldn't have stayed in a library for to long because as far as he was concerned the library wasn't for that at all. Besides Reno thought it was rather crazy to stay in a library, but in the current situation he thought that maybe the library was actually a better place to stay at. Reno was hoping that his friends would come in any minute and that way he could be less alone. It's not that he was actually alone which was good, it just that he didn't know anyone there as much as he knew his friends. And now his new friends but more he knew about his other friends then the one ones.
After what he said to Anya he heard what she asked as he looked at her a bit confused. "Yes, Bay City. Sunnydale? I am sorry to say I haven't heard of it so no. I haven't gone there at all. Never, I never in my life been there just as I never heard of it. How is it there? Are you from there?" Reno looked at her as he said this. He then sighed and looked at the ground then back at the two. Right then a waitress brought over their order and put it in front of them. Reno took a sip from his drink then a bite from his pizza as he looked at the other two.
When he asked the next thing he waited patiently for Anya to reply. Once she had, Reno listened to her reply curiously and picked up an eye brow. He noticed even the look on her face a s she mention an Easter bunny. "Easter bunnies are not scary. Kind of cute I suppose but not scary. Are you scared of the Easter bunny? Or are you scared of bunnies in general? There is nothing to fear not from Easter bunny nor from bunnies in general as they are cute and harmless" He looked at her puzzled at that. Now he really wondered perhaps she was some kind of demon or something but shrugged it off for now.
"He said that when I asked him if you would be alright or not. Since I really was worried and all. He probably thought I knew but it's not true. I didn't, not until he mentioned it. I don't believe in demons, nor devil or god much. Well didn't used to but now.... now I am not sure anymore. After my life changed and all I ended up believing things I never thought that I would. I never thought zombies could be real and yet we encountered them. " Reno looked between the two as he sighed. "Especially I after loosing my niece. I ended up praying with my brother that one day we will find her. We never did, we don't even know if she is alive or dead In fact we gave up looking for her"
Reno never thought that he would ever anyone but then he told Bobby and now he handed up telling his new friends. It surprised him but he figured that he must trust them enough. Reno felt good to be able to trust someone. It was hard to keep it all bottled up inside for so long. True he told a girl who reminded him off his niece just as he told her friend but it was different story all together so.

It was nerve-wracking, waiting for Vince's response. In her jittery state, Anya could have prattled on for ages about how she was most definitely not a demon. She forced herself to keep her mouth shut, however, gritting her teeth as she did so. It seemed evident that she'd said too much already, and she didn't trust herself to pursue the matter further lest she come off as even more abnormal. So instead, she lowered her light brown gaze to the table's surface, and waited for a response.
Her uncharacteristic stillness didn't last for long. The demon almost jumped out of her skin the moment Nara touched her mind. For a fleeting moment, she almost thought he had spoken the words aloud. Seconds later she realized that this was impossible, since Vince hadn't reacted at all and...well, there was just something about telepathic communication that made it immediately identifiable. The action had clearly startled her though, and she stared at Nara with unmasked shock. To anyone else watching, it would have seemed as if her astounded reaction was in response to the words Nara had actually spoken aloud. Which would seem ridiculous, of course, and Anya realized this a moment later. Blinking, she gradually relaxed again and erased the surprise from her expression. It wasn't really so bizarre, once she got over the initial shock of the matter. He was a devil, after all...and a very peculiar one at that.
Anya hadn't met many devils before. As far as demonic interaction went, vengeance demons were rather secluded, preferring to keep to their own affairs rather than meddle with other supernatural creatures. The few devils she had met hadn't exactly been pleasant. Unfriendly at best, and at worst utterly destructive. Nara, however, seemed to be neither. Interesting. Though it made her slightly uncomfortable knowing he could read her thoughts any time he chose to, she gave him a tiny, subtle nod. She'd agree not to question him for now, at least not in front of Vince.
It was only then that she noticed their food had arrived. Welcoming the distraction, the demon picked up a slice of pizza and took a bite. Maybe having her mouth full would prevent her from talking so much. She swallowed and reached to take a sip of her soda, which was when Vince chose to respond. He didn't immediately reply to her spiel about demons, however. Instead, he chose to first mention something much, much worse. And Anya nearly spit out her Coke. A nerve had definitely been struck, and now there was no stopping her.
"That" she growled, turning to Vince with narrowed eyes. "is exactly what they want you to think! Everyone's all 'Oh Anya, that's horrible! How could you hate bunnies? They're so cute and cuddly and innocent!' Well, they're not! They're evil and manipulative and disease-ridden and...and..." Her voice broke and faltered. The vengeance demon was clearly quite upset by this point, and she was beginning to attract a bit of attention from the other customers. There was a very awkward pause in which Anya realized this, and slowly she seemed to deflate. Well that had been...stupid, to say the least. But how was she supposed to react when someone started talking about those horrible, carrot-eating creatures?
She took a deep breath, and calmed herself once more. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to...can we just...not talk about them?" Anya pleaded at last, wringing her hands a little. She was almost glad when the subject changed, even if it was to the topic of the supernatural. At least Vince seemed a bit skeptical about the idea of demons and whatnot existing. Perhaps that would lessen his suspicions. Perhaps he would just end up thinking that Anya was crazy, and leave it at that. Or maybe, possibly, she could learn to trust these two...and then no more secrets would have to be kept.
If that were to happen, they'd have to take small steps. For one, perhaps she needed to try and be a bit more empathetic. And she needed to forget about the bunnies, but that went without saying. Her gaze softening, Anya sighed. "I'm sorry about your niece." she finished with a gentleness that was unusual for her. "Losing people is hard. It makes you feel all empty and lost and...and hurt." Anya wasn't particularly skilled when it came to describing human emotions. But she knew how they felt, as difficult as they were to put into words. She offered Vince a small sympathetic smile, and then glanced at Nara. "If there's anything we can do to help you, please tell us."

Nara continued to eat his pizza at a rather alarming rate, granted he or at least had the sense he was being a bit.....rude...judging by all the stares and muttered thoughts he picked up around him. It wasn't exactly mind reading what he had done to anya though to her it might of felt that way. He was sensitive mentally enough to pick up on surface emotions, and if he touched his mind with someone else he could communicate. Granted this link of the mind also gave him a stronger connection to the person he spoke to and gave him a clearer inclination of their motives thoughts etc.
The mind was a complicated thing, it wasn't a book that you could just read. He liked to think of the mind as an endless hallway of doors. Each door held something important or whatever, to the person. Now you could glean a small bit from say looking inside, but not the whole picture. And sometimes there were defenses or "locks" on a door which was always polite not to open.
He smiled and ignored his bemusing about telepathy, and the ability to pick up and peoples emotions. his mouth was crammed full of pizza, he felt he probably resembled something like a squirell or a chipmunk with his mouth so full of food. He paused and chewed some of it swallowed what he could and repeated until his cheecks weren't bulged out. At first he wasn't inclined to answer any questions his mind occuppied by pizza his new favorite food in the world.
He paused though he was listening to the conversation and got the impression he was not making a good impression. I guess dinning with corrupt nobles who didn't know how to use silverware wasn't a good way to make an impression. He diced to act a little more on ceremony like the older nobles used to or those who rose to power without privalages. He sighed and ate his slices one bite at a time and took things much slower. One by one the annoyed thoughts and mutterings stopped much to his own relief.
Nara listened to the conversation about loosing people, He didn't understand the concept too well. He had tried but it was beyond him, when he had served the archdukes if you lost a soldier it was a relief. One they couldn't kill you by stabbing you in the back for at least a few hundred years. Second it wasn't like you cared, everybody was out for themselves granted they did so in ways that seemed nice to get you off your guard. Then his experiences in the human realms showed him loss wasn't a big thing for several reasons. One your summoner was dead, so you could harvest their soul, and two the only reason they wanted you in the first place was for some stupid power or wealth something that many already had. Others wanted a servant to rule over a city ect. It was very stupid how petty humans were so to him loss wasn't a big deal granted its just something he didn't understand yet.
He was surprised when Anya said they would help. He almost choked from surprise. When had he agreed to such a thing, he couldn't remember agreeing to something like that...He calmed down and faked a hacking fit over his pizza. "Sure i guess i can help..." he said vaguely though he really was only saying this right now so he wouldn't seem suspicious granted Anya already knew what he was, but Vince he still wasn't sure on and would rather have his books on vince's nice side. For now, as his mentor had once said "Help who you can, but be prepared to stab them in the back before they do the same to you. In other words be just because your paranoid doesn't mean their not out to get you." he would always remember that and it had saved him in the past he wasn't about to give up survival.

Reno looked at both as he saw the way Anya acted over sudden as he lifted an brow confused at that. He wasn't what to think at all. Reno had no clue at all of what that happened between the two. However, partly he wanted to know because he wanted to know what made her so annoyed. Yet partly he didn't as it wasn't his business after all. Reno just hoped that it wasn’t about him even if he doubted that it was. “What is going on between you two?” he asked as soon as Anya calmed down and all. “What did he do? I haven’t heard nor saw anything bad so why annoyed at him for?” Reno added clearly still puzzled by the whole thing. After that he just kept eating, as here and there he took a sip from his drink.
Once in a while he looked around at all the people inside. Reno hoped to see anyone he knew there but again no luck. Not that he was surprised as he figured that it was the case. Yet it didn’t stop him from worrying, far from it in fact. Yet, he kept on trying to think about other things. Since thinking about what could have happened to his friends made him rather more terrified then calm. Then again thoughts like that usually would make a person worry, so it was no wonder. Reno took time with answering because he thought what to say as well as he was eating and drinking. Not to mention the idea of Anya getting annoyed at the other guy confused him more then anything in the world. If that was even possible.
After he got the chance to reply he did. As soon as he answered he saw her mood change again and he noticed the way she acted. That made him confused too. Reno wasn’t sure what was happening but that was very strange and weird to him. “Wait, are you scared of bunnies? Why? they won‘t hurt you.. I think maybe you shouldn’t watch to much TV as it makes you, paranoid. I don’t understand why you watch nonsense at all. I it scares you that much then don’t watch it at all” he looked down then back at her. He waited for her reply. The idea of her fearing bunnies surprised and shocked him. To say the least. “They are not evil, trust me. Bunnies are cute and can be friendly too. They do hate being caged and they fear people but that is as far as it goes” Reno felt like he was talking to a child. He didn’t hate her or teased her as it wasn’t like him, not about stuff like that anyway. However, it didn’t change the fact that she confused him so.
“Tell you hat, how about after it’s all over I prove to you that bunnies are not dangerous. What do you say? Sounds good?” he only suggested because for one he believed that they would make it and two because he ,meant it. Reno wanted her to see that she had no reason to fear from bunnies. Not that he was sure that it would work but he planned to try anyway. Reno knew that it would take a while but he was just fine with that so. Yet he wasn’t going to give up, either way so. He wasn’t going to give up on anything not helping her nor his freedom. After all it wasn’t his style. Even when he said he gave up he didn’t mean it, also he kept trying to convince himself that he meant it.
